Each chapter is a different night, they're shortish, so apologies for that.

Kyla pov:

I got changed into a purple silk dress that was elegantly decorated with glittery black lace, I slipped two diamond earrings into my ears, they had sapphires in the centre and shone from next to my black curled hair which was left down, apart for a section in the middle which was loosely braided.

Neji got changed into a grey suit which had black rims, a white shirt and purple tie to match my dress, he tied his hair up in a classical Chinese man bun and offered me his arm as we headed out to the party, I had a ninja pouch hidden under my dress attached to my right thigh in case of emergencies.

"You look beautiful" I whispered to Neji on our way into the large white building and he smiled at me before leaning down to whisper in my ear "You look handsome milady" I blushed a little and thanked him and he smiled at me before we entered the main hall where the party was at it's peak, people in the most fancy outfits I'd ever seen chattered and danced across the room bringing life to the party.

A man came over to me and asked me to dance, I reluctantly let go of Neji accepting his hand. Blend in Kyla, blend in. He placed his hands on my waste and I wrapped my arms around his neck, we danced along to the slow music in the background and I smiled a little at Neji who watched while he also concentrated on the others, we are here on a mission after all.

"You look beautiful" the man stated smiling at me and I blushed a little bit and smiled at him as we danced to the rhythm of the music. I danced with the man for several more songs as he showed no signs of releasing me before I excused myself going back to Neji.

"Having fun?" Neji asked with out looking at me, he was busy observing our surroundings. "No, he kept dancing and I just wanted to go, boy my feet hurt" I complained before looking over where Neji's eyes rested and saw a lady putting chocolates from the buffet in her bag, Neji sighed at her but I couldn't help but laugh a little, what a mood.

"Everything has been normal so far, no strange behaviour except that lady, but we aren't here to stop chocolate addicts" Neji stated as he turned to me and I nodded and I went to find a table to sit at while Neji went to get drinks, when he returned he sat opposite me and placed a glass of lemonade in front of me which I sipped on.

Even though I know I was meant to be paying attention to the people around me, I couldn't help but stare at Neji. A lady walked over too use, and she also had her eyes on Neji, same lady, same. "hi" she said kindly and Neji and I both said hi back before she asked him to dance, he looked at me unsure and I nodded, we need to blend in, look like you're having fun Neji. 

They both made their way to the dance floor away from the tabled and Neji placed a hand on her waist, and she placed hers on his shoulder, they then held each others hand and she leaned her head on his shoulder as they began to sway to the music. They looked as though they'd know each other for hundreds of years, but in reality they just met.

I tore my eyes off them and brought my lips to the straw in my ice cold lemonade and took a sip, I then continued to look around at the party, there was cheerful chatter everywhere with no sign of hostility from anybody, it was perfect.

Ad the night came to an end we said our goodbyes to people we'd never met before and headed home to get into bed, Neji unzipped the back of my dress at a slow pace before I slipped it off in the bathroom and changed into a simple white tank top with black booty shorts, I removed my earrings and wiped away the little make up I had on, I then brushed out the hairspray and let my hair hand freely before brushing my teeth and washing my face, then I slid into bed with Neji.
