Kyla pov:

I awkwardly waited for Neji in the park as I leaned up against a large oak tree, reading my book. I wanted to collect some things from the Uchiha compound and check out the stone tablet, I also wanted to see the area damage in order for repairs. 

I wore casual clothing, a simple white tank top with black jeans and a black bag over my shoulder. Neji soon showed up, also in a casual attire, jeans and a light blue shirt.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" he asked me a little concerned and I nodded lightly before taking his hand and walking with him. "The Uchiha compound is on the edge of the village, nobody has entered but anbu in the last four years, and the anbu only went in for the first week or two" He explained as we made our way to my old home.

"Why were we on the border?" I wondered aloud. "Nobody knows, considering the Uchiha's are the only living founding family you'd think they'd be bang in the centre" he stated and I nodded lightly. It took a great deal of time but we eventually reached the Uchiha compound. Dust covered 'keep out' signs covered the entrance like a web, I concentrated my chakra into my finger before cutting through the warning signs like I was using a knife. We took our first step into the compound and Neji squeezed my hand in a sign of comfort. 

"You know" I started "I'm technically the Uchiha head, Itachi is rouge and I'm second eldest, normally a female can't be the head but I can because I have the sharingan, it didn't matter if the man had the sharingan or not but its written by Madara Uchiha that a female with the sharingan from the main branch can be the head" I explained as we walked down the street in attempt to distract myself from the blood shadows on windows, there was no blood on the streets or walls, the weather has washed it away in time but inside houses is a different story. "So you own the entire compound in theory" Neji muttered as we entered the Naka shrine.

We pushed the floorboard in the shrine to the side and climbed down the ladder put in place, entering the meeting room. A stone tablet sat at one end on a cushion, that is why we're here.

"I can't read it, what language is it in?" Neji asked frustrated.

"It's in code, each stage of the sharingan unlocks a bit more" I explained turning my sharingan on its last stage, unlocking most of the tablet. "Seeking stability, one god was divided into yin and yang, these opposing two acting together obtain all things in creation. When someone who possesses the power of Saṃsāra approaches the moon, an eye will open that is reflected on the moon to grant the eternal dream" I read before huffing and sitting on the floor. "I have no idea what that means" I complained and Neji rested his hand on my shoulder. "Is that all it says?" he asks and I shook my head no "I haven't got the rinnegan so I can't read the last line" I explained and he hummed in response.

I glared at the stone with my eternal mangekyo in hopes of making some sort of sense of this situation before Neji offered me his hand and I accepted standing up. "Nobody found out what this means n hundreds of years so it can wait for you to get the next stage" Neji stated and I nodded in agreement before we headed to the main branches house.

I stopped outside staring at the door as flashbacks of running in with Itachi and Sasuke went through my mind, Images of Sasuke huffing from losing in a race we all par took in or when Itachi pretended to be the slowest to give us a confident boost or that one time father tripped over the step and we all laughed at him and never let him live it down. Averting my eyes from the door I saw the stab mark in the Uchiha crest causing a crack to spread out.

Taking a deep breath I slid the door to the side seeing the wall I always leaned against as Itachi would tell Sasuke he can't help him train. I could see the slippers on the floor where we were meant to change. We walked in further, the kitchen where I spilt my coco pops, the living room where we would wind father up, the chair father would read his newspaper every morning, the fire we would hang our stockings over every Christmas. The shelf was scattered with photographs of the past, My birth, Itachis birth and Sasukes, there was a photo for each. My first day of school, I was on fathers shoulders, Sasuke was in moms arms and Itachi stood in the middle. Mom and Dads wedding day, mom was in his arms they were just looking at each other lovingly, ignoring the world. I picked up that photo and pushed all the dust off before placing it in my bag as though it were a diamond. We then headed upstairs where we entered my room, It was a classic child's room covered in a blanket of dust, I went under my pillow and picked up a silver chain that had a locket on the end, I opened the locket to see my brothers on the one half and my parents on the other, I placed the locket in my bag before going to Sasuke's room, which was much messier than my own, I went through his draws trying to find his locket, its possible he has it at home but its unlikely, I found the charm hanging off the curtain pole and placed it in my bag, his had the same picture of mom and dad in but the other side was a picture of Itachi and I. I wasn't going to bother looking for Itachi's, I saw it around his neck when I hugged him. 

I entered my mom's and dad's room and looked around for a few books, I found them all and placed them in my bag, but I also found another one, my moms diary. 

"Okay I have everything I need" I muttered to Neji and he nodded before taking my hand once more and guiding me out of the haunted area. I want to restore the compound to a lively place, somewhere people live, even if they aren't Uchiha. 

"Y'know Neji, when we're married you will be the Uchiha head" I stated staring up at the sky, this made him look at me weirdly. "It's true, you are male after all, plus you'd be a better leader than myself" I stated and he sighed before saying "lets cross that bridge when we come to it" and I giggled lightly.

"Neji!!" A voice screamed as a yellow blob charged at us and Neji huffed in annoyance making me giggle at him a little.

He got closer and I recognised him as the nine tails kid... what was his name... Oh right Naruto.

"Pervy-sensei said he saw you with Kyla Uchiha! Where do I find her!" he yelled and Neji and I glanced at each other before I giggled for a second. "Hello" I friendly stated with a light wave.

"hi" Naruto said back glancing at me before focusing his attention back on Neji, Neji didn't say anything and Naruto glanced back at me before his eyes widened in shock. "You!" He screamed and I looked at him bored before he continued "You need to release Sasuke from your monster genjutsu!" he then saw Neji's hand connecting with mine before making he question Neji about dating a scary girl like me, but as far as i'm aware we're not dating. 

I kissed Neji's cheek and muttered a thanks for the Uchiha compound and used kamui to reach the hospital, honestly I was going to release Sasuke after visiting Neji yesterday but I forgot.

 I entered his hospital room where I saw a lady with blonde hair in two low piggy tails trying to heal my brother. "You must be Lady Tsunade? The new hokage?" I asked edging closer, that snapped her attention off her medical ninjutsu and she looked at me before saying "and you must be Kyla Uchiha the mastermind behind this genjutsu" 

"That's me, sorry about this, he was going to get himself killed and with this jutsu I can get him to listen to what I'm trying to tell him as oppose to him being a teenager and slamming a door, yelling and running off" I explained as I scratched the back of my neck sheepishly and she just smiled at me lightly. I turned my mangekyo on and released the jutsu, I then decided to wait in the room for him to wake up but Lady Tsunade left to go and probably do paper work. 

Sasuke began to stir and I just looked at him before sighing, he used to be such a sweet kid but time changes everyone. Knowing he wasn't still in the tsukuyomi I got up about to leave when I felt arms around my waist. Sasuke was hugging me. "I'm sorry" he muttered and I sighed lightly before hugging him back.
