It's been 2 months since I came back from my trip,  at present I was here to attend my cousins wedding and I'm busy enjoying with shopping and having lots of fun..

It's a love cum arranged marriage. They two were working in Canada as software engineers.... 

This was the first marriage, that too love marriage!

"our elders accepted it for them, of course after a lots of pleading only, they're finally going to get married..

Everyone were busy with preparations and decorations..

 When I walked around to give the refreshments to everyone. I saw someone coming towards me??

It's mike!!!!!!

what the he's doing here???

Seeing him first thought came to my mind was Dad..

I was afraid very much. Dad might not see us together..

Well wait why am I running even? Dad doesn't him right!

Hey!

I ran out from there when he tried to call me with my name..

How can he call me in front of my family! If anyone saw us they'll bombard me their stupid questions ?

So i ran up to my cousin panting..

Whoah what happened? He asked looking at me..

What trouble you got this time? He chuckled saying that..

I looked at him angrily, ok fine sorry what happened? He asked in calm tone..

Do you have any friends in Canada? I questioned him..

He looked at me surprisingly and asked what do you want exactly??

I was about to tell him about what I saw, someone entered the room knocking the door..
I stood quiet thinking of him here!
My cousin welcomed him and I thought to leave..

When I was about to leave without seeing him who it was! As it's unnecessary I thought..

But my cousin called my name, I glanced at him, was it necessary? I said in low tone..

I looked up and was in silent mode blinking my eyes..

 Hi Ahaarya how are you?? 

Do you know him?? Harshad asked looking at me in surprise..

Harshad was watching me curiously, as if he is seeing something interesting!

When there's no reply from my side he turned to him and asked..

"Do you know her Mike??"

 yes!!!!! He said looking at me..

 "She was the girl I was talking about with you.." Mike said..

My cousin looked at me, I got tensed he might tell what happened in that trip..

BTW what❓😧 he was mentioning about me? I was About to ask him, but to my surprise, both of them laughed looking at me...

I was dumb to see their reaction, hearing my name being called!
i walked out from the room glancing at two of them..

Marriage was about to happen, tonight at early hours around 4am.
Some were busy in taking naps💤 and some chatting, etc..

I was along with my cousins laughing, and some playing PUBG as there's lot of time for muhuurat..

Getting bored, I went to see harshad, he'll be going back to Canada this weekend.

In between our talks,. I asked harshad  do u know him??

He replied who??? Mike?? 

Yes!!!! i nodded,..

I knew him from a very long time when I was in the university, we became friends,.
And so he was here to attend my wedding.....

Mike is a very good person, he said..

What mike was talking about me in the morning(she was the girl I was talking about) what does it mean? I asked harshad..

Ohh!!! that one when he was back to Canada from his trip, he said he met a girl..

Oh that's it?? I thought Mike might have said about the bus thing I thought. But he didn't said anything!

What bus thing? Harshad asked..

That's nothing, I just said like that harshad..

I tried to cover up but took promise that he shouldn't tell anyone about this..

He promised and I told him everything that happened there in the trip, but suddenly, i turned around to see my dad standing at the door looking at me furiously!!

I got up from the chair, looking at dad who walked towards me.

D-a-d! actually, I started but before even I finish a tight slap reached my cheek..

Why did you hide this from us!!?? Dad shouted..

"I started sobbing, Dad actually- I was about to explain but dad moved to me raising his hand once again.. I hide behind harshad crying.."

Harshad don't stop me, Dad tried to move him away, I still hide behind him.

Please listen to me uncle,.
Stop uncle! What are you doing? She was safe and fine in front of you..

Ahaarya!! You go I need to talk to uncle.. B-ut brother there's no mistake I did.
I tried to defend myself sobbing..
But again harshad sighed me to leave, and pushed me out,.

My dad was talking to him seriously,.. I was peeking through the window and was very much afraid about what's going to happen??

Dad's p.o.v...

What if someone knows she spent all night with some stranger?
You and i know what's the truth..

I was happy to know she was here safely back due to him (Mike) and I have to thank him for that but what if someone finds out and make the situation worse,?!This society will make it into different forms splitting..

My brother and dad are talking since a long time,.. I don't know what's going on?

All of a sudden I turned to see mike also entering the same room!?

I got scared dad might not hit him,! Because I knew dad's anger. He'll definitely hit him too!
All this happening just because of me,.
I should have told dad earlier about this.

I saw them, coming out, and I turned to see m-i-k-e!!

Thank god he's fine,. I thought dad might have hit him! But I saw smile on everyone's face, mike was too smiling, means no need to worry,.
Thank god I sighed😌 in relief...

Seeing Dad coming towards me, I stood their with fear closing my eyes I know I would definitely get another slap.. All I heard from Dad was, "you're getting married.."

 What❓😧😧 I was in shock looking at my Dad..

Hey ahaarya come, get ready my mom called me.. I turned to see them but all were walking away 

I even saw everyone got up from their naps and got busy..

Everyone were smiling making fun of each other but i was still in some trauma thinking of dad's words..

Marriage process came to end I still don't know what my dad is talking about?

After two days I saw a couple got down from cab,  heading inside, they asked me about mike.

Who are you?? I questioned them..

They immediately asked me surprisingly, "Are you Ahaarya?"

I nodded my head horizontally to them, we are mike's parents they said..

I greeted them and took them inside, you were late as wedding completed the day before yesterday I said with a smile..

"we came here for another wedding dear.." They said making me shock..

Another wedding? I looked at them in surprise, no no there's no other wedding going to happen..Marriage was completed, I said showing them his room and was about to leave,.

Hey ahaarya!? Mike called me.
I turned to them while he introduced me to them..

They knew me already, we got introduced before itself I said to him..

Mom,Dad how did you guess it's her?

We know she was ahaarya,. They said smiling..

How did you guess it's her??

You described about her,right!!

what?? what's happening?? Why should he tell about me to his parents, she thought and left their room thinking..

After a while, I went to meet Harshad, as he is going to leave in a couple of days...

Did you finished your packing or may I help you?? I said knocking their door..

Priya and Harshad smiled looking at me..

Nah,  it's ok there is no rush, I have postponed it for two more weeks, harshad said..

Really!! then we'll rock!! bro,. Yaay I shouted in excitement..

No, i have lots of work,.

What❓😧  work? b-b-u-t why?? I asked him..

Because  it's my sister marriage, and as a brother i have to take responsibility,.

Oh com'on, be serious. Don't make fun of me..

What's there to make fun?

You're getting married!!! He said smiling..

Yah but at least you have to search for groom right, and plsz I'm not ready for the marria--!

But groom was ready, harshad said..

What❓ but no one talked to me?? i didn't even see him??

Oh you know him, don't worry..

what's all this? i don't even know him? b-u-t dad how ?? how did dad agreed for this??

what!!!! Are you kidding me,.

No, i'm serious, he said..
But no one asked me, how can you fix without asking me? I was about to shout, but seeing my dad who just entered the room made me shut up automatically..

Harshad started laughing at me, now shout and say to your dad! I glared at him but he didn't stop making fun of me.

All of our family members gathered in seconds, &  dad announced my marriage with mike.

Most of them aren't happy and some of them are in shock just like me. Marriage is fixed on coming Wednesday..

I'm  in shock, don't know what to do??

All preparation were going on so fast...

I wasn't even interested in shopping, everything was done by my mom and sisters. Whenever I want to talk to harshad he used say later "can't you see i'm busy!!!"

Everyone were busy.. My brake for my happiness was heading near that's WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!

I was getting married to mike!? The person I don't even know?
I wanna know what conversation actually happened that night with my dad!

I went to my dad to tell him that I don't wanna get married to Mike, I made up my mind to speak to my Dad without fear...

Dad! I - "come sit here" He said patting on his empty side..

I sat beside him and he just kept his hand on my head.

My eyes became wet unknowingly just with his warm touch and the way he Caressed my head..

"Dad! I swear nothing happened in Kerala, do you have any doubt on me?" I asked him with regret as he might think in wrong way..

No no dear, it's nothing like that.. I trust my children,.

Then why this marriage? I don't want to get married plsz..

My dear, Mike loves you so muchh... I saw it in his eyes and I will be never wrong in finding out person's feelings... 

I was happy that my daughter got a person who loves her a lot... And you will be very happy my child, don't worry..

I couldn't say my feelings to my dad that I don't want to get married.. He's so happy that I don't even think of making him sad with my decision..

I don't know my fate would turn this way.

Everything went so fast that, I have to leave my parents, my place, my friend's, everything behind and going to some unknown place?

I was relived for a moment at least my brother is going to be there with me..

My mom helped me in packing and all of my family came to give send off..

At last I turned to see tears in their eyes and hugged them before leaving..

We got checked in, I stood numb as I don't want anyone to see my tears...

When I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned to see it's none other than Mike..

Shoving his hand off, I went and sat beside harshad..

What happened? He questioned..

Seeing tears in my eyes harshad looked at me concerned.. I'm staying just a few blocks away. You can come any time or just call me I'll come to you.. Ok?

Without answering to him, I just stood there till we heard our flight announcement..
