Lay Pov
"I love you Lay please... wake up" a sound of a sorrow  voice said and with that sound  I woke up all of a sudden with my face all   shock. What with all of these dreams I have recently. I kept seeing this girl. A girl I never met before. I only met her yesterday when she drop her diary. I only know her voice in my dream and I know for a fact its her just by the sound of her voice. who are you? That's the question I keep on telling myself after that day after I met her.

Wait before we start the story. I think most of know me. I am Zhang Yixing or just Lay. A idol from a kpop group who just debuted 1 year ago. Well my life simple with nothing at all really. Living in a big house. My parents aren't always home. Sometimes my old lifestyle is not me. That's why I become an idol.

Enough about me back to the story. Let all start from the beginning before I forget her.
2 year ago before I became an idol.
First day of the school year.

I was walking through the hallway, minding my own business. I felt a sudden pain and it was someone who bumped into me.

"Can you watch where you are going are you brain dead or something?" she said as she scraped out the dirt from her skirt.

Oh no from the looks of it her attitude need a little work.

"I was going to say sorry but with your attitude, I won't miss ice queen" I  replied back. That will show you to never mess with Zhang Yixing.

She get up and said, " Hey you stop calling me that I have a name you know Jinah not Ice queen you fucking walnut" she crossed her arms.

How cute. Not.

"Listen here Jinah you were the one who wasn't looking where you were going I was just minding my own business ice queen," I said I think I made her even angrier.

I think I know her. She is one of my classmates. If I remember correctly everyone hate her even Xiumin.

" listen here I don't know what's your problem is but I guess you can't pronoun it" she argued back.

"Whatever I just wasting my time with you I need to go and by the way, the names Lay not walnut," I said and just walked away.

I just left. I don't want to deal with her. . What does she think she is to just bump to me like that? But I do admit she is pretty and cute  though.

Just great I met with the ice queen again  at the locker as I was packing my bags to  to go back home.

"Can you move my locker is next to yours?" she said harshly.

Who is the girl yelling, why is she here?

"What if I don't want to huh Jinah?"I said boldly.

" Just move walnut" she yelled at me to move.

But I came closer and closer to her and whisper to her ears " You know what Ice queen, you're cute"

Now I got her attention to stop being so snobbish.

"Are you blushing?" I teased and she pushed me away from the locker and said "Listen here Lay you may think I a normal girl who will be so mesmerized by your good- looks no I already hate you so just leave me alone walnut" she said and argued back.

She thinks I'm good looking.

"See you around Ice Queen and by the way you said I was good-looking " I smirked and walked away.

"I -" she didn't manage to reply as I already walked away.

Jinah is it I already hate her. I hope we never see each other ever again. Then again I love to tease her. Will see.

Fews days have past.

I kept seeing her as the all mighty ice queen  in the hallway, at the cafeteria and also in class as we were classmates. Don't get me started on my first day here. The teacher asked me to sit at the back. I and Jinah will always glare and make funny faces at each other. But we never talked or said Hi.

As I  sitting with my mates I kept looking at Jinah who kept glancing at me,  she stopped when she knows I  stared at her back. Why is she always doing that staring at me?

"Lay hyung what you looking?" Baekhyun said wrapping his arm around me.

"Nothing" I replied eating my sandwich.

"Baekhyun leave him alone you how he is…" Suho said while giving some chicken to Sehun.

Oh yes here are my group of friends. All 8 of them are my friends. Chen, Baekhyun, Kai, Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Suho, Xiumin and the youngest Sehun. We have been friends for so long. As I was reminiscing my past memories. I got a notification from an unknown person.

I opened it up and saw. I saw something that made my eyes open wider. So her diary got exposed huh. Why is everyone so mean? As I read the diary of hers that makes me giggle to myself. She such a fool. Jinah was it. It looks like we will see each other soon.

Time had past and I  everytime I stumbled in front of her. She is always being pushed or bullied. All because of her diary.

Few minutes had past.

"Umm," Why can't I speak? JINAH you always act tough. Why can't I fight back or even speak? Maybe it reminds me of my past self."I heard a voice shout. It sounded like Jinah. I walked towards the voice.

some group of girls bullied her by pouring water all over me. Her clothes were all soaking wet from head to toe.As one of the girls named Lee haejin. She smirked and went to slap her. I can't just stand there and not do nothing. I walked and stopped it by grabbing the girl's hand to stop it from hitting Jinah

"Lay," One of the girls said. They were hesitant and shocked to see me.

"Why are you guys trying to hurt her? I know she did some mean things in the past but it is not the right mind to do the same things to her" I said still holding the girl's hand.

She looked at him and I stared at her back. I thought she is a tough girl turns out she is a delicate and soft on the inside

"Lay Oppa Umm we just, we just-" they said at the same time.

"Just what, please don't call me Oppa we're the same age just go," I said disappointed.

"Are you OK?" I said while wrapping me with his jacket.

"I'm fine don't look at me I hate when people see me crying it makes me think I am weak so can you leave, " she said while tears flowed down her cheeks.

"You don't want me to look at your other side your fragile side, I know you are all tough and feisty but this is cool seeing this other side of you, are you sure you are fine? " I  said still worried about her.

"Lay, Can I ask you something?" she asked with a serious tone.

"Sure," I  said looking at her.

"Why did you help me?" she asked.

That's the question I want to asked myself, but I don't have the answer to.

"I don't know why I help you maybe because you were weak sorry need help and need someone like a Prince to save you one day am I right ice queen"I joked trying to light up the mood.

" Yah! Walnut can you stop calling me Ice queen"she punched me.

"Ouchh! Fine If you stopped calling me walnut we gave a deal " I replied back.

Finally have her old self back. That crying delicateness doesn't suit her. I love her feisty side better.

"No walnut suit you" She teased back.

Students who were in the hallway were on their phones laughing. I guess they know all Jinah's secrets now.

"Jinah! "I yelled and she just ran. She cried and ran until she reached the rooftop.

" Jinah I know you are upset but don't jump" I said thinking she would jump.

"What dummy I didn't plan to.”

“ Why are you here not like you care?" I grabbed her hand as she  was punching me and we both looked each other in the eyes.

"I do care," I said and that make her freeze.

I think by now I do care about you Jinah. I begin to fall in love with you.

"Let go of my hand" Jinah pulled away her hands.

For few weeks I came to help her to find who did it. I don't know why I am helping her but I did.As time past , we both grow closer and closer.

‘Lay are you listening ?” Baekhyun wave his hand in front of me.

"you were facing out are you ok "Baekhyun said.

" don't mind him he is hanging out with Jinah "Xiumin said not pleased with it.

" Wait hyung have  a girl? " Kai shocked face.

" Do you like her? " they teased.

" Forget about it its nothing", but deep down I do like her.

I quickly hide behind the food shelf.

"Quickly before they see us," she said, grabbing my hands and running out of there.

She sighed "That was close… they almost see us… " as we were in the middle of an alleyway.

"Why do we need to hide, we have nothing between us? " I asked.

I'm just curious.

"It may cause misunderstandings" She replied and he moved closer to me.

"That's a bit too close" she said.

"Do you have feelings for me?" I asked as I moved closer to her and her  back against the wall.

"No, why?" she said.

Deep down I felt sad with the response.

"I think you do," I said as I put my  left hand to stop her from leaving.

"No, I don't" she denied it again.
"Does It seem like I do?" she asked.

I smirked " Just to let you know I don't flirt around"

"Hey, I don't want you to flirt with me" As My face was an inch away from hers. I could feel her breathing and heart beating.

"Now what, you want to ask me out? " she softly said looking into my eyes.

" I can't ask you out if I am the only one who has feelings for you " I said and that makes my heart beat so fast.

"If we both like each other we can go out, if not we can't… So what are we?" I asked.

For a few weeks and finally she said yes and we became a couple. I was the happiest guy in the world. Everything was great and smooth. We went on dates and such.

Few moths later we had an argument and that made the accident happen.

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen ­year-old Lay has no memory of the accident; I can only recall what happened afterwards, watching my own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little I struggles to put together the pieces- to figure out what I has lost, what I have left, and the very difficult choice I must make.

End of flasback

I remember everything as I closed the diary. I was in a convenience store as it was raining outside. I need to find her.

Where is she? As I took my breath from the consant running.

I stopped a nearby street to take a breather. Where are you. The rain came paring down much more heavier and heavier.

When Hope seem lost I saw a long black hair as she slipped and on the ground. As I was about to go to that girl who fell, she got up. I got a glimpse of her face. It's Jinah. I know it's her. Even though her face was all wet from the rain.

I ran as fast as I could to her and held my umbrella to cover her from the rain. She looked up towards me. I could see tears fell.

"Jinah" I said.

"Yes" She was crying.

"Lee Jinah sorry I took so long" I said and with that she looked at me and hugged me.

Jinah POV
"Lee Jinah sorry I took so long" with those words coming out of his mouth made me burst into tears. He remembered. He remembered me.

I wrapped my arms around him and he hugged me back "Lay I miss you" I said in between my sobbed. His warmth, his touch I miss him so much

He pulled me out of the hugged and looked into  my eyes and said "Sorry I make you wait"

I said "Don't be sorry I knew you might remember me but the waiting and the pain of you not remembering me was a hurtful but, seeing you now remember me it's just-" I didn't managed to finished my sentence when he slammed his lips into mine.

How I miss his lips, his kisses.

The street appears to have sprung into existence solely for us kissing so tenderly, our faces dripping with the wintry gifts of clouds. His hands, gently in my hair, me upon his chest. Tucker smiles, and glances toward the sky that promises more rain to come, our sweet sound as a round of applause for love and romance.

I pulled away and said " I think we need to stopped or we catch a cold" I giggled.

"What if I don't want to" He pout and kiss my cheeks.

"Don't be such a kid" I said and dragged him, I mean we walked hand in hand to my apartment.

2 days have past and it was my birthday. I was wearing a black depper suit as I walked out from my house or should I say mansion.

"Lay you did it you fix your problem" Kyungsoo said while patting my back.

"When are you going to fix yours?" I asked and his face said it all.

"Well she isn't willing to forgive me" D.o said and I replied "People will forgive you if you set things right fighting apologize to her… apologize to Kiara" I shouted as I was walking towards Jinah. (all will be revealed in the next book)

"Waiting long?" I said softly.

"Not at all" she said and I pulled her to the balcony of my mansion.

"Happy anniversary... it's our anniversary of how we met"I put on a necklace on her and she Was in tears and said" Thank you and happy birthday to you Lay" and she kiss his cheek.

" Do you remember how we first met?" I said and she nodded.

"Yes... It was so unexpected.. We bump into each other by accident and you calling me ice queen and I call you walnut... Good Times" she giggled.

"Do you still think I looked like a walnut?" I said into her eyes.

"Yes but a cute handsome walnut" she replied and I wrapped my hand around my hips.

"Oh really ice queen" as I  said that I turned my head ever so slightly and kiss her  lips passionately.

“Ouch!” we both heard a voice coming over there we pulled away from the kiss to see who it was. It was Baekhuyn who fell with the boys and girls behind them.

We both giggled at them.

“ Lay hyung congrats “ Kai and sehun pat my back and smiled.

“ Had you you know?” Backhyun give a cheeky smile and I playfully smack him and we all laugh.

“Its amazing how you can fall in love with a person you didn’t even notice the first time you met them.Life is full of surprises and one of them is finding the one for you, in the most unexpected manner. Love can be found in unexpected places. Sometimes we go out searching for what we think we want and we end up with what we’re supposed to have.Love comes from the most unexpected places. Love comes to you just at the right time the time you never thought it would have.That’s the ideal meeting…once upon a time, only once, unexpectedly, then never again. That is what happened to me . I met Oh Jinah unexpectedly and now we are together. So, this is the story of how Zhang Yixing, a plain calm man, met a badass girl who people think is bad , but actually she is not at all bad. She is the person who deserves a second chance and the person I love.
