"Because I believe people deserve a second chance," those words came creeping into my head.

Wait, why am I thinking about him? Jinah gets your mind out of the gutter.

"She here she sprained her leg," Lay said to the nurse as I glance at him.

"Thanks," the nurse said as she apply ointments to my ankle.

" There better be take some rest," the nurse said.

"How long will she be here?" Lay asked.

"I hope by tomorrow she might be fine" The nurse stands up and says goodbye.

"Sorry I let the team down"

"Don't be as long as you are OK" Lay replied.

"Take a rest. I need to go to the team and said that you are OK" He tuck me in and I just stared at him.

As he move to the door, I said: "Thanks Lay" he turns around and said "Don't mention it" with a smile and walked out of the room.

I smiled back. Wait, Earth to Jinah, why are you smiling and smiling back to that idiot. He is just your enemy. Am I considering him to be my friend? He carried me to the nurse's office. His strong arms. The thought of that makes me blush. Snapping out of it I shake my head.

The next day, morning.

I yawned by stretching my arms as I opened my eyes to see him. Lay sitting beside me staring.

"Why are you here?" I said softly.

"Why can't I be here?"

"Here I brought breakfast for you," He said by giving them to me.

"Thanks," I said.

Why am I nervous? It just lays. Why am I so nervous and my heart eating fast?

"Eat up so that you have energy... or you want to be to feed you" He grinned.

"No wait, I can do it myself... no need" I grabbed it from his hand as fast as lightning.

He chuckled.

"What's so funny?"

"Because you're acting cute," he smirked.

"What did I say about compliments"

"To stop them... but Ice Queen for you I will not, so what are you going to do about it?" he said, eyeing me.

Why is he so cocky and for what?

As I was about to speak. I heard a knock on the door "Are we interrupting something" Yisoo and Eunji gave a cheeky smile.

"What? No? We didn't do anything" Why am I saying something so embarrassing.

"Umm Lay Baekhyun wants to see you," Eunji said and he said "So Ice Queen eat the breakfast and or I will-" I interrupted him "Yes I will eat it go now you don't want to keep Baekhyun waiting," I said as he left the room.

"So, you and Lay are getting pretty close" Yisoo sat beside me and Eunji follow.

"Were not we just talking like friends should" as I opened the lunch?

"Sure now you admit he is your friend, earlier he was just your enemy" Yisoo smirked.

"What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing wrong... we came to see how you were doing," Eunji said.

"You guys came to check on me?" I said surprised. Throughout my life, no one cared enough except for Kiara and my family of course.

"Yes I know we just met 2 days ago let's be friends from now on" They smiled and I smiled back.

Is this the start of a beautiful friendship? Finally, I gained more friends than enemies.

We talked and talked for hours until lunchtime. They were easy going and fun to be around. I am just glad I found friends that are fun and exciting to be with.

"Eww, a slut" a random guy said the hallway was crowded.

"OMG looks how ugly she is," another random girl said.

Why is this keeps on happening to me as I ran and ran towards the door but it kept on moving further and further?

I sighed and took a deep breath. It was just a dream. I looked at the time it was 9 pm.

"Are you OK, Jinah? You're sweating" a familiar voice said. I turned my head to face him.

It was Lay with his messy hair. Did he sleep here to keep me company?

"I'm fine just had a nightmare"

"That's a relief" He sighed.

"Why?"

"Nothing... are you hungry?" he asked.

"No I am not" but my stomach was growling.

"Are you sure?" he teased.

"Fine, I am" I crossed my arms.

"Is your ankle feeling better?"

"Yes, I will be joining you guys tomorrow, why?" I looked at him but was Dragged by his hands.

It caught me by surprise.

"Where are we going?"

"You will see," he smiled.

He took me to the convenience store.

"Here" He passed me ramens and coke.

"Thanks"

"Eat up," He said, staring at me.

"I will if you stop staring"

"What if I don't want to?" he said and continued with"Fine"

A few minutes had passed and I finally finished the ramen. As I drank the coke. I heard a familiar voice.

"Huh this is what you get if you don't eat, '' Baekhyun said to his girlfriend Eunji.

"Just shut up and buy this," She said.

"Anything for you Snow angel," Baekhyun said.

I quickly hide behind the food shelf.

"Quickly before they see us," I said, grabbing his hands and running out of there.

I sighed "That was close... they almost see us... " as we were in the middle of an alleyway.

"Why do we need to hide, we have nothing between us? " Lay asked.

That question makes me pause.

"It may cause misunderstandings" I replied and he moved closer to me.

"That's a bit too close"

"Do you have feelings for me?" Lay asked as he moved closer to me and my back against the wall.

"No, why?" I said. I know I lied.

"I think you do," Lay said as he put his left hand to stop me from leaving.

"No, I don't" I denied it again.

"Does It seem like I do?" I asked.

He smirked " Just to let you know I don't flirt around"

"Hey, I don't want you to flirt with me" As his face was an inch away from mine. I could feel is breathing and heart beating.

"Now what, you want to ask me out? " I softly said looking into his eyes.

" I can't ask you out if I am the only one who has feelings for you " lay said and that makes my heart beat so fast.

"If we both like each other we can go out, if not we can't... So what are we?" Lay asked.
