Muah💋💋💋. Back to today's update.

It been two years, since the death of Dan. I've learnt to live my life without him, at first it seems very hard to live on but with the support of my best friend who has always been by my side I've learnt to live my life.

My social life is not the way used to be when Dan was alive.

All I've being doing for the past two years is work, work, and work.

I don't care about the hours I spend treating and attending to my patients at the hospital, as long as my mind is occupied, that stops me from thinking about Dan.

My work has being a gateway to freedom from all my roaming thought about Dan.

I work as a pediatrician at the general hospital in Singapore.

I made sure most of time is spent at the hospital taking shift after shift to wheel away time.

The only time I get a break is whenever Nicole insists on taking me out, either to the club to met new guys, or to the park to talk about the things going on in our lives, or we met up at each other house to spend the weekend together.

My parent has also shown a lot of support, which I really appreciate.

My mum been who she is hasn't stopped setting me up on one of her blind date with either her friends sons, or her friends nephews, she just set me up on any guy who she thinks is good looking and is financially buoyant.

She has teased me times without number that I and my best friend would look cute as a couple, she keeps telling me my best friend is in love with me. I do laugh whenever she says that, I haven't even thought about dating my best friend.

While we were still in high school I had a huge crush on my Best friend. Who wouldn't have had a crush on him then, he was one of the handsome dudes in high school, he is still handsome tho.

Moreover, I never did confess my feelings to him, I thought it was gonna ruin our friendship. I still had a crush on Nicole not until I met Dan in medical school.

As for my mum I've told her times without number that I wasn't ready to date anyone, but being the woman that love to have her way, I don't have choice but to go for each and every date she sets for me.

I had made sure that each of the dates knows I wasn't ready for any relationship.

A knock at my office door jolt me out of my thought, I  raised my head  from one of the files on my desk.

"Yes come in." I said to the person behind the door.

"Good day ma'am, you must be Doctor Darcy." A short woman with a short blond hair and blue eyes said looking at my name tag .

I looked downward to a little girl not less than five years, with the same blue eyes as her mummy and her blond hair tied in ponytail, she is the perfect replica of her mother, just the difference in the length of their hair.

"Yes I'm Doctor Darcy, and you must be Mrs Blake." I said to the woman, while standing up to my feet.

"I will be the doctor to carry out your daughter's regular check up." I said to her as I stretch my hand towards her to receive her handshake.

"What your name pretty girl?" I asked the little girl looking at her blue eyes.

"Nora."

"Okay Nora, I need you to stay calm while I check your vital organ."

"Will it hurt?" Nora asked me as she looks up into my eyes with her blue eyes giving me one of the cute puppy eyes have seen on a lot of my patients. Gosh she is so cute. I will have to adopt a child very soon, because I don't think I'm ready to marry any time soon.

"No darling it won't hurt, I will just have to check your heartbeat, your hearing, eyesight, your throat and your blood sample to make sure you are healthy. It won't hurt darling." I said to the cutie in front of me.

My activities at the hospital continues until I was interrupted by a phone call from my best friend, asking me to meet with him at the cafe close to the hospital building on my lunch break.

What could be so important that he couldn't wait till my shift was over, anyways I guess I would find out when we have lunch at the cafe.

Anyways this chapter is edited, one of my reader suggest I edit it so yah this chapter has been edited.

Also you will all notice I wrote this chapter in first person point of view, while I wrote the prologue in third person points of view.
Yeah the rest of my chapter will be written in first person point of view.
