"LAND Rideeeessss!!"

"WATER RIDESSSSSS!!", Yelled Kanishka on top of her throat banging her closed fist on the table grabbing attention of everybody else around their table.

"Guys, calm down! People are watching us", warned Aditi moving her eyes all around finding everyone's gaze in the Food Court directed towards them, shifting Kanishka's gaze from Aman to her complaining

"Why don't you tell this monkey to just shut up and listen to me then?"

"I don't wanna go to any water rides!", Replied Aman frustrated of repeating the same thing looking at Kanishka, making Aditi gaze at Karan for help who blinked his eyes in affirmation finishing his burger turning to look at Aman saying

"Come on Aman please, what's the point coming here when we don't enjoy the water rides! Look we all are excited, and we're not going without you."

"Fine", said Aman bringing a smile on their face which lasted only for a second until he further added

"I'll come with you guys, but I won't enter water. You can't force me for that"

His reply earned a hard stare from Kanishka who stood clenching her fist fuming at him with an all scrunched up face

"DO WHAT YOU WANT!"

"I WILL", chuckled Aman to himself noiselessly watching Kanishka leave the cafe, behind whom followed Aditi and then Karan but not before passing him a tired unbelievable look, making him smile rolling his eyes before following them behind putting on his sunglasses.

"Are you really just gonna sit here and watch us play in water all the time? Like seriously?", Asked Karan in disbelief as Aman sat on the sand chair placed in a row right before the wave pool, earning a shake of head from him as he answered comforting himself on the chair lying on his back

"Why not, I'll get some sun!"

"Get some brain and a little heart too if possible", Muttered Kanishka completely miffed looking at him with hatred and anger burning in her eyes, before turning behind going straight to the wave pool dragging Aditi along with her leaving Aman baffled wondering about her words

What does it have to do with having a heart?

As he thought, he heard Karan speak, "Well if you change your mind, you are welcome to join us anytime"

"I won't!"

Jerking his head at his answer, Karan was about to leave when he heard him speak

"Wait!"

"What? You changed your mind already?", Asked Karan eagerly earning a glare from Aman

"Shut up!"

"Then what?"

"Just make sure you guys don't get too deep in the pool, stay close to the shore!"

"We're not kids!", Said Karan rolling his eyes joining Aditi and Kanishka in the pool, leaving Aman shaking his head sighing to himself, moving his eyes all around before fixing it on Kanishka playing in the water

"But you do have a kid around!"

"Stop!", Chuckled Karan shielding his face from his arm being welcomed in the pool by splashes of water to his face by both Aditi and Kanishka as he approached near them.

"Stop, Or else .."

"Or else what? Huh?", Questioned Aditi laughing continuing to slap water to his face causing him to face sidewise opening his eyes answering with a smirk plastered on his lips

"Or else THISS!!"

Removing the hand blocking his face he quickly dipped both of his hands in the water, plunging and splashing water back at both of them, who now closed their eyes chuckling facing sidewise continuing to throw water laughing and giggling at one another.

As they played chuckling and laughing, Kanishka's eyes wandered towards Aman who was sat sipping on his unfinished drink, doing his hair with his other hand, resting like he was in a spa, watching all of which she raised her brows.

Turning narrowed eyes she mumbled to Karan grabbing his attention to her

"Did he say anything about coming?"

"Nope, I tried but he said he won't", Frowned Karan with a raise of his shoulder lifting up the corner of his tight zipped lips making her nod before turning to look back at Aman murmuring with a look of displeasure

What an absolute Idiot!

"Here comes the wave guys! Jump!!"

"Huh?", Turning to look at Karan baffled, Kanishka was taken by a surprise as a wave hit them from behind pushing each one ahead as they were facing the back to it except Karan, who was the only one to jump staying above the wave leaving him stay intact while Aditi and Kanishka were pushed front towards him.

Watching Aditi being pushed ahead, Karan was quick to take her into his embrace encircling his hand around her waist preventing her from any collision with him or entering the water.

Hugging him close resting her head on his shoulder she snuggled close to his neck wrapping her hands around his back clutching to his shirt being completely taken by a shock by the sudden push.

Her eyes squeezed close of fear, as her heartbeats raced, sensing which Karan moved his hand slowly over her wet hair caressing it softly while his other hand gently rubbed on her back, whispering in a light smooth tone balancing them back on their feet

"It's okay, it's okay, I caught you, nothing to worry, it's fine, you're safe!"

As the words were whispered gently in her ears, her heartbeats calmed down easing her grip on his shirt making her eyes to open at a leisurely pace watching around before pulling her head back from his shoulder slowly licking on her lower lips of a mixed feeling of shy and embarassment, just when he heard him question

"You okay?"

"Umm hmmm", nodded she looking all around but him, meeting his eyes speechless unsure how to react or to speak, still having her hands resting on his shoulder, while his hands held her by her waist until their attention was caught by Kanishka who was bobbing her head up and down struggling to balance herself in the water screaming at them

"GUYYSSS! Give me a hand!"

"Oh yeah, sorry, sure!", Mumbled Karan quick removing his hand across Aditi pulling himself away from her, about to help Kanishka but then was left stupefied finding Aman stand right beside her, who picked her up in his arms moving a little behind placing her back down helping her stand on her feet, commenting

"Damn you are heavy!"

"Who told you to pick me up, you monkey you could just help me stand right there!", Asked Kanishka coughing out the water entered her mouth while giving him a perplexed look to which raised Aman his eyebrows shrugging his shoulder in disbelief answering

"I just saved your life, and that's what you all have to tell me!"

"Saved my life?", Gave Kanishka a look of bewilderment with her eyes wide open blinking at Aman shaking her head in disbelief as there was no way she could have even drowned herself and here he was speaking about death, making her mutter

"Stop exaggerating too much alright, I just couldn't balance myself back to my feet because the water level was too high, I'm not new to water, I've a pool in my home you idiot!"

Oh yeah right!

Thought Aman to himself having completely forgotten about the fact that she had pool in her home mentally facepalming himself for assuming she didn't know swimming, biting on his tongue when he heard her ask again

"And by the way you were not coming in the water right?"

"I saw you dying, so I came to save your life!"

"STOP SAYING THAT!", Grit Kanishka her teeth at Aman who bit his inner cheeks controlling his smile from escaping turning on an innocent look voicing out with a frown

"I just saved you from going to hell! And you are not even grateful?"

"I don't know about me, but I'll definitely send you to hell, if you say that again!"

Yelled Kanishka completely frustrated grabbing Aman by his t shirt, pulling his face towards her own, making him look directly into her fiery eyes which lost all its fire turning soft as ice in a flash, making her eyelashes flutter with lips quivering voiceless at the sight of his eyes which lit with a shine as his lips tucked a wide grin finally giving up on holding back his laughter.

Looking into his bright dark eyes which had an innocence childlike, the one of the kid's within, which he hides behind his egoistic self too haunted to open up, was out there in open reflecting at her at the moment, washing away all her anger, filling her eyes with an emotion void of description.

A smile craving up her lips as she wandered her eyes all around his attractive face, before finally fixing it at his lips keeping intact her gaze on it for a few seconds looking at him grin careless about being caught staring openly enchanted by the sight which she loves, his natural true smile and not the usual jerky arrogant smirking one.

Her stomach feeling the butterflies, causing her heart skipping a beat or two, lighting her face with a smile in order to control which she let go of his t-shirt slowly pulling her hand as well as her gaze down. Biting on her inner cheeks, she eyeballed all around feeling his gaze on her making her mutter feeling uncomfortable under his spontaneous gaze

"Don't laugh at me when I'm angry!"

"Why?", asked Aman blinking his eyes trying to understand her words as well as the sudden transition of her facial expressions, leaving her biting on her lower lips at his question thinking of an answer, just when intervened Aditi questioning

"Kanishka you fine?"

"Yeah! I am and I was as well, didn't require anybody's help!!", Remarked she heaving out a sigh of relief having escaped the question looking at Aditi and then Aman from the corner of her eyes who chuckled dramatically with an expression reading, "Yeah, yeah, of course", before enacting her moves of drowning

"GuyYs, GuyYs, GiiiVeee MeEee aAa HaaNddd"

Mimicked Aman her voice and as well as her actions from earlier tossing his hands all around the water earning a smack on his arm and a kick to his legs underwater by Kanishka while everyone else chuckled at the two's expressions.

"Shut up you idiot! I didn't require your help! Karan and Aditi were there to help me"

Said she at Aman who groaned touching his leg, turning to eye Karan watching him with a smirk appearing on his face at her words making him murmur in a voice audible only to him

"Well, they were too busy helping themselves, to notice or help anybody else!"

His words earning a shocked strong glare from Karan whose eyes blinked in horror as he munched on his inner cheeks at Aman who had a sly smirk craving his lips as he recalled the scenes from a few minutes before.

*Flashback begins*

Didn't I tell this idiot just now not to go too deep?

Questioned Aman to himself furrowing his brows, watching all of them stand deep in the pool exactly what he warned them to not to, making him grind his teeth clenching his jaws annoyed.

As he groaned to himself, his eyes caught Kanishka looking at him, causing him to instantly avert his gaze from her leaning back to his seat.

Putting on his sunglasses grabbing his drink from the table, he looked elsewhere running his hand on his hair acting as if to be not looking at them, but his eyes still secretly watched every movement around them, catching the wave approaching them from behind.

As he noticed the wave, his brows furrowed at Kanishka who was facing her back to it, completely unaware that this would push her straight inside the water, making him remove his sunglasses, running his hand on his forehead getting worried

I'm sure it's her first time in the pool! She'll drown herself!!

And just as he thought squeezing his eyelids the wave hit Kanishka and co, causing him to stand immediately on his feet, moving towards the shore.

Stepping in the water running his eyes all around to spot them in the crowd he was left miffed, shaking his head in disbelief going wide eyed at the sight of Karan who was helping Aditi holding her close to himself, while ignoring Kanishka like she didn't exist.

Of course, of course, why am I NOT surprised!!

Rolling his eyes watching between a bobbing drowning Kanishka and a motionless clueless Karan for a brief moment, he shook his head looking elsewhere sighing to himself before entering quick in the water deciding to help Kanishka himself, well aware if it would be left to Karan and Aditi she was good as dead already.

*Flashback ends*

"Of course, they would help you!", Replied Aman to Kanishka  withholding his smile shifting his gaze away from Karan, before directing it to Aditi questioning

"Isn't it Aditi?"

His question reminding Aditi of the accident earlier, flashing the scenes of her hugging Karan close in front of her eyes, spreading a shy smile across her face forcing her to lower down her gaze feeling her cheeks burning, replying with a soft whisper

"Yeah"

"Okay, okay, guys! Another big wave is coming, this time don't forget to jump, alright?"

Warned Karan intervening diverting the topic before Aman could further speak using his satirical tone, getting his intention exactly, causing Aman to smirk at him just when he heard Kanishka

"If you still worry about getting your hair wet and your hairstyle messed, then get out of the pool already!"

Said she rolling her eyes knowing exactly well his reason of not entering the pool before, corner eyeing him with a frown who smiled jerking his head in disbelief looking elsewhere licking his lips before turning back to look at her with a smile

"There's no going back, because I worry that if I do, you might actually end up drowning yourself this time"

Furrowing her brows, clenching her teeth she was all set to fire back at him just when her lips were left stuttering voiceless as she felt his hand grabbing her own underwater interlocking his fingers with hers having her gaze softening just by his mere touch of fingers.

"See, I won't leave you this time", said he lifting their hand above water showing it to her, making an eye contact with her who voiced out her surging thoughts

"Then why did you leave me at the first hand"

Aman's chuckle reduced instantly to a soft smile, as he reflected back in to her eyes, whispering unable to hold back himself from asking

"Did you miss me?"

"I did——not!", Added she quickly after a short pause averting her gaze from his leaving him grinning rolling his lips keeping his gaze focused on her turning red face, muttering with a light hearty chuchkle

Of course, You didn't!

And in the meanwhile as they conversed, moved Karan himself beside Aditi who was looking elsewhere still caught up with her own thoughts from the moment before, bringing her out of her trance saying

"Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah, I.... I'm good! You?"

"Fine", replied he and the two nodding at one another exchanged shy smiles standing beside awaiting the wave, not sparing a word to each other until Karan turned to face her and noticed a twisted expression of fear lurking her face as the high wave approached making him speak eyeing her for a while

"Don't worry, this time we'll face it together"

"I'm scared of drowning!", Voiced out Aditi her fear honestly finally meeting his eyes turning to face him who zipped a tight smile matching her gaze affirming

"I won't let you drown"

Holding her hand underwater keeping the eye contact intact, he grinned tucking her fears aside saying

"Jump on my count, 1.. 2.. 3.. JUMP", nodding with a cheerful smile she kept looking into his eyes jumping at the call, letting the two to ride the wave with their heads above the water as they embraced the wave floating along with it coming back to their feet not leaving one another's hand the entire time.

"That was so FUN!!", Exclaimed Aditi grinning delighted at Karan keeping her hands across on either side of his shoulder for support, making him chuckle along answering with a broad smile

"Told you!"

"Let's go deeper!", Said she excited leaving Karan overwhelmed with astonishment having him questioning back almost wide eyed

"What?? Aren't you afraid anymore?"

"Until you're there I'm not afraid"

Her words leaving him void of any answer as his lips ceased movement remaining open, unable to object her who pulled him in deeper in the water clutching on to his hand underwater, to which he couldn't help but oblige going deep in the pool with her enjoying the sea like waves forming every minute, riding along so sometimes dunking in at instances.

"We're wet already! Come on na...", Requested Kanishka pulling Aman's hand with both her hands, trying to drag him to the indoor rain dance floor to which was he adamant not to, causing him to roll his eyes as she requested again for the umpteenth time

"Please na!"

"Finee! Come", sighed Aman agreeing finally, tired of her requesting him in front of everyone inside, hearing whom she screamed in joy

"Yeeeeeeeeee"

Shaking his head, he let himself being dragged by her to the dance floor, lighted up with vivid psychedelic laser lights, where danced people under the perfectly choreographed showers of warm water which had a sweet aroma, the one of petrichor, surrounding throughout the floor whole enjoying the songs being played by the DJ in the high fidelity sound system, presenting a complete multi-sensorial experience to everybody on the floor.

"Come on, Dance!", exclaimed Kanishka jerking Aman's hand who was just watching the people dancing around with a strange twisted expression, the one of intense displeasure running his hand through his hair, just when her voice shifted his attention to her making him reply with an uninterested look

"I don't dance!"

"Come on, do something!", Told she spinning around spreading her hands wide in joy sending droplets of water flying from her hair as she tilted her head left to right, doing jumps lifting her toes making Aman chuckle noiselessly at her moves gazing elsewhere shaking his head in amazement.

You're just so crazy

A smile adorning his face as he murmured having a glance at her, watching every childish or her so called ' The dance moves', carefully from the corner of his keen eyes, adding further to his earlier words mentally

But also so cute!

Posing a grin at her enthusiastic smile, he gazed down heaving a sigh being captured by his own thoughts, just when a voice brought him out of his trance grabbing his attention back to Kanishka

"Would you like dancing with me?"

Gazing up lifting his eyebrows, Aman's forehead creased at the sight of a guy standing beside Kanishka looking at her with a large smile on his face, causing him to clench his jaws responding with a quick "Nope", which was heard by none as it was overshadowed by Kanishka's voice

"Sure, why not?"

Wh—whhat??

Aman's mouth flung open while his eyes blinked shocked at Kanishka's response who was smiling sheepishly at the guy, causing him to gaze to his left trying to grab hold of his surging anger by clenching his fist tight.

Pursing his lips he watched the guy grinding his teeth, who now smiled stretching his hand towards Kanishka, making Aman nervously run his palm over his face before quickly grabbing kanishka's hand before it could even raise to hold his, telling

"We're already dancing!"

"Oh really, Are we?", Questioned Kanishka looking at Aman with a perplexed smirk, forcing him to play a tight lipped smile controlling his anger nodding his head slowly at her

"Yes we are! So if you mind——"

Turned Aman saying with frustration clear in his eyes, as he looked at the guy who was watching them baffled, signalling him to leave saying the rest of his words from his eyes, getting which the guy apologized immediately

"I'm so sorry then"

"You better be!"

Muttered Aman faking a smile at him who raised up his hands in surrender moving back before leaving the floor, watching whom nodded Aman turning to face Kanishka heaving a sigh only to roll eyes hearing her who questioned with a strange smirk plastered on her lips

"Why are you so angry?"

"What do yoy mean by why are you so angry? Did you bring me here to watch you dance with somebody else? What am I supposed to do? Clap for you guys?"

Questioned he in disbelief making Kanishka gaze down controlling her smile answering with a dramatic shrug of her shoulders

"I brought you so that you dance with me, but you are not, what can I do?"

"So you will dance with anybody?", Raised Aman his eyebrows, in response of which she just returned a smile answering

"Yeahhh"

Biting on his inner cheeks, Aman gazed all around trying his level hard to control his urge of laughing out at her honest naive reply, just when his gaze shifted abruptly back to her hearing

"I'll go find that guy ——— because you won't dance anyway"

The last words remained stuck in her throat as Aman pulled her by her wrist as she looked to turn causing her to come twirling into his arms, watching him stunned as he tucked her hair which came across her face by the sudden move, behind her ears delicately, saying in soft whispers

"Why find another guy? When I'm here huh?"

A handsome smirk making it to his face as he looked into her soft gleaming eyes holding her by the sides of her waist while his other hand held her other hand gently, making her gaze down feeling a weird tingling sensation running all around her body.

Wrapping her free hand around his back to stand comfortably on her feet, she kept her gaze focused down sucking in breathes to calm down her racing heartbeat which was going havocs with his every hot breathe finishing on her wet neck sending chills down her spines.

Her heartbeat almost pausing when his lips whispered moving close to her ear, falling her eyes shut leaving her incapable of say anything.

"You can't dance with anybody else!"

Involuntary nodding at his words she gulped down the lump formed in her throat, finally opening her eyes looking up matching his staring ones whispering back

"I wasn't actually going to! It was just to make you dance!"

Said she with utmost honesty letting out a smile at him who chuckled with a slight shake of head looking around and then back to her

"Well, what do I say, It Worked!!"

Chuckling together, both remained watching one another, keeping the eye contact intact not holding themselves back for the first time, when the music brought them out of their sweet little trance

I wish I could pretend I didn't need ya

It's true, la-la-la
Ooh, I should be running
Ooh, you keep me coming for ya

As the song played, Kanishka's face lit with a broad smile as she sang along moving her feet back and forth moving their hand while he just stood admiring every change of expressions on her face until she kicked him on his leg ending his train of thoughts saying

"What are you looking at, DANCE!!"

"Ouch.. Don't get violent, I'm trying"

He voiced out rubbing his feet over his just hit leg, at which she responded quick rolling her eyes sighing

"Follow my steps, and stay silent, I'm singing"

Her reply having him raising his brows for a second but then looking at her sing with a broad grin, he dissolved into a thin smile gazing down with a shake of his head observing her feet movements, wanting to hear her singing rather than shouting.

Following her feet movements for a while, being a quick learner, he grabbed the moves, coordinating with hers real quick, amazing Kanishka who watched him with eyes twinkling as now he was the one leading them to dance as they swayed back and forth making her smile broad at him with a look voicing out her words

"You never fail to amaze me, do you?"

"I'm amazing I know, but now come on, don't look at me like that, I don't want you to fall in love with me!", Commented Aman with a smirk sweeping away smile from her face as she rolled her eyes jerking her head replying with an extensive sigh

"Fall in love and that too with you? NEVER! I will rather choose to fall in some dustbin, than falling in love with a monkey like you"

"Oh is it?", Smirked Aman telling to which she responded with a slight nod narrowing her eyes which went closing of a quick reaction as her feet slipped off the surface causing Aman to instantly power his grip back on to his hand against her waist preventing her from falling, bending himself down stopping her midway.

As her eyes remained squeezed tight, he let out a quiet chuckle at her scared expressions sighing softly

"Don't worry I'll not let you fall!"

Her eyes opening slowly looking into his with void of expressions, reading the look on his face which seemed promising as his words, crossing a thought in her mind as she whispered to herself

And what if I've already fallen?

"Did you say something?"

"Ummm.. N—Nno.. YES.. WILL YOU PULL ME UP!?", Asked she after stammering a few words causing him to chortle nodding before instantly pulling her up, helping her stand back on her feet.

Keeping her eyes fixed on the floor exhaling out the suppressed breathes, she calmed down her intensified nerves, before finally lifting her eyes to see his smiling face, growing confused at his strange look saying

"Are you awaiting a thank you? Cause, I'm not gonna say it"

Turning his head around chuckling, Aman licked his lower lips looking at her in disbelief who shrugged her shoulders at him in question, making him shake his head in denial answering

"I know, I'm just awaiting a dance"

"Really? Are you enjoying dancing?", asked she posing a curious grin to which he responded wrapping his one hand around her back, holding her hand from the another, leading her to the slow dance who just watched him with eyes not ready to move from him being completely stunned by this side of his, unable to hold herself anymore from asking

"Are you Aman?"

Lowering his head to have a look at her, Aman chortled at her question for some seconds wondering about it before replying

"And what makes you question that?"

"Everything!"

The word fading away Aman's laughter reducing it to a thin smile as he looked into her eyes which were looking back innocently into his, making him gaze away eyeing around for a while before looking back stating honestly

"You know, you make me do things, which I would never do, even in my wildest imagination!"

A chuckle escaping her lips hearing his words, making her gaze down and then back to him answering with a proud smirk on her face

"I'm great, I know!"

"It wasn't a compliment by any means", narrowed Aman his eyes at her response, but it had no effect on her as she smirked further adding

"But I'll take it"

Lifting his eyebrows turning on his serious face, Aman gave her an angry look who returned his look lifting her face staring back into his, staying as such suppressing their smiles until both couldn't hold on to it anymore, falling out laughing at one another's expressions, continuing to dance together chuckling and teasing.

And in the meanwhile, on the other hand were dancing Aditi and Karan, after a while of her struggling around to teach him the steps, finally being successful in doing so, sighing delighted

"So finally we are dancing!"

An embarrassed smile curving up his face making him gaze down, muttering lightly

"Sorry! I'm just terrible at dancing!"

"I don't think you are, look at us now", said she making him lift his eyes watching her with a look admiring as she had her hands wrapped around his neck while he had his own tied behind her back right above her hip, as they swayed slowly dancing  around the position they stood, tucking an amazed grin on his face

"Yeah we are! I can't believe I'm dancing! All thanks to you!"

"I'm enjoying it as much as you are, so no need of it!", Muttered she with an affirming blink of eyes at him to which he nodded and the two fell in step, letting the rhythm control their movements, as they looked into one another's eyes.

All the scenery and people around them dissolved. It was him and her alone.

Her perfect azure eyes glistened, and a bewitching smile spread across her beautiful wet face, slowing up his heartbeats as unfelt feelings surged through his entire body, tingling his hand as well as his fingers in delight as he thought over his wish of dancing in rain, grinning mentally as he never imagined it would be with her under this circumstances.

His sweet little trance breaking hearing her words, "Isn't this like that part of your dream, where you wanted to dance getting drenched in rain?"

The question leaving him watching her for a while blinking his eyes amazed, with his lips parting a couple of times to speak but going voiceless before finally joining to form a grin answering

"I was just thinking that, But do you still remember it??"

"OF COURSE!!! How do I forget something which is my own dream huh?"

His heart skipping beats at her answer, having him gazing down for a second chuckling before looking up at her questioning

"This isn't a dream, right?"

"This is! Both of our dream, what are you speaking about?", Questioned she snickering shrugging her shoulders at him who let out a chuckle hearing her shaking his head

"You know what I meant!"

"I do, and you do too!", A smile escaped his lips as he nodded in response looking back into her eyes staying intact reading every small bit of expressions questioning

"Are you happy??"

"Can't be more happy! And you?"

"Me too"

A feeling of content enveloping the two's heart, having them grinning at one another, letting their eyes do all the talking, while they just danced swaying back and forth, turning on their spot slowly being lost in their very own sweet little world.
