"Mom?"

"Mommmm you awake?"

"Mommmm!"

Karan called out peeking inside, pushing the door open before taking a walk in, entering his mom's room. Nearing her bed who was slept hugging the blanket close to her chest, a wide smile tucked his face as he squatted down before her sleeping self, watching the cute adorable childlike grin on her calm face as she dreamt peacefully.

Not everyday he got the sight of his mom sleeping, at least not this early in the morning having woken up before her, making him smile and sigh proudly as he couldn't recall when was the last time he woke up earlier than her. It was another thing that he didn't sleep last night to get up today.

The excitement and nervousness of meeting Aditi early morning all alone again, and at the same time the fear of not getting up on time once slept, kept him awake whole night.

Changing the position, shifting sides after sides, turning left to right, right to left, and then straight up fixing at the ceiling he thought over the happening of the whole day, a long day of his life which he probably will never forget.

It was for the first time, Aman let out his feelings in front of him, asking him to not leave him alone rather than leaving, adding a few warm words 'Please don't' , before his usual cold ones 'leave me alone'. The words which he always felt but never heard, one which even his ears longed to listen.

And listening to it today, he couldn't be more happier to finally feel the glimpses of his old lost friend back, which he always truly believed was still there inside him and not dead as Aman always tells, and today was the proof that it was still somewhere in, just not able to find a way out.

It was lost, but soon was about to be found, and this time it was to be found in a way that it never gets lost again, and Karan knew it was Kanishka who was playing the major role in this find.

Nobody else gets on Aman's nerves like she does, making him do things he would never do from his own free will, forcing him to be his own true self, smiling the way he never does with anyone else. Nobody but Kanishka herself could make that difference, and Karan could feel the difference already in Aman.

It was also the day, he realised he was as special and important to Aditi, as much as she was to him. And it was not just about being called 'best friend' by her, but it was being treated like one when he needed it the most.

It was about the trust which she showed in him, coming after him even when he didn't probably deserve it, not at least after leaving her alone even when she asked him not to. She always tried to understand his part of the story thinking from his perspective, even when she had no reasons to do it exactly, as it was pretty clear he lied to her all those days.

It was that faith of hers in him which touched his heart. The faith, which was always the same, intact in her eyes, then be it before learning the truth, or be it after she knew it all. The look of her eyes never changed, the trust inside was never broken, making him feel special in himself, being someone who was trusted unconditionally, and genuinely cared about by her.

It was a beautiful feeling in itself, as he never thought before today, that he could ever have someone other than Aman himself who would understand him like the way he understands him, but now getting one he couldn't be more happier about it.

Feeling all elated reminiscing every small moment, from she asking him if he would always catch her from falling, to actually hugging him in excitement for a corn, when exactly the clock ticked 4:00 he never got to realize.

Getting up brushing his teeth, taking a warm shower to get rid of the night tiredness due to lack of sleep, he dried himself combing his hair neatly standing in front of mirror taking all his time to dress himself in his new black hoodie shirt and jogger black casual track pants. Grabbing a pair of matching white sneakers and his black wrist watch, he slipped in his phone inside his pocket, all set to leave for jogging by 5:00 a.m.

Just when he realized, his mom was still sleeping, without informing whom he could not leave and for the very same reason to wake her up he walked up to her room but now was sat adoring her childlike grin not wanting to disturb her peaceful sleep.

His trance coming to an abrupt end when she jolted awake, jumping up on her bed startled sighting him all of a sudden upon opening her eyes, causing him to also flinch falling back straight on the floor losing his balance at her sudden reaction.

"Mom, it's me, your son!", He exclaimed looking at his mom who panted heavily placing one of her hands on her sweating forehead while the other rested on her racing heart. Her eyes blinking rapidly taking in every ray of light murmuring after a brief moment of calming herself down

"You wanna give this old lady a heart attack?"

"Old lady and you? Mom you look younger than some of our class girls!", Karan remarked grinning at his mom pulling himself up from the floor looking at her who rolled her eyes getting up from the bed combing her hair from her fingers saying

"Enough.. enough.. don't need to act all flattering with me!! Where are you headed this early in the morning?"

"I ..umm.. am going for jogging!"

"And from when did that happen?"

"From today?", Karan guessed grinning at her which went disappearing in front of her staring scanning eyes as she nodded dramatically in understanding saying

"So you are saying me you woke up this early all by yourself, got ready THISS NEATT with new pair of clothes, just to go jogging and not on any date? You sure that's what you are trying to tell me here?", Questioned she eyeing Karan top to bottom who wore the brand new shirt and pant he had bought just for jogging but then never touched it as he never woke up that early.

Fixing her gaze on his face which now played a dry smile as gazed down for a second or two before uplifting his eyes, grinning at her confidently coming up with the reply for which he earned a baffled gaze from her.

"I like to be neat mom and you know that, and besides who goes on a date this early in the morning? Come on! I wanna start jogging because-"

"Because?"

"Because .... Ummmm.... I feel I'm becoming fat! I wanna stay fit and healthy, so I've decided I'll do jogging every day!", Karan remarked mounting his hands on his hips looking at himself and then his mom with hopeful eyes mentally pleading his reasoning to work, whilst his mom passed him a weird look checking him out for some seconds, commenting

"Fat? You're becoming THINNNNN!! You're underweight!", She exclaimed facepalming making Karan bite his tongue, and then quickly respond shaking his head unable to think anything speaking whatever came in his mind

"I'm under-no-weight! Every mom in this world thinks her son is thin, but I know I'm becoming fat, I can feel it. Now come on MOMMM, stop interrogating, I'm getting late!!"

Karan groaned stating, quickly turning to leave his mom's room moving towards the main door realizing if he stands there any longer answering her questions he would give it all away.

He walked leaving his mom standing behind shrugging her shoulders at what he just said chuckling before following him behind outside, reaching where watching him take his cycle she commented raising her brows

"Oh, so you are taking your cycle for the jogging too?", Hearing her mocking words from behind Karan turned to look at her who had her brows raised amazed at him making him roll his eyes

"I'm gonna drive to some good area or park which has lot of trees mom, I wanna jog in fresh natural air not on these dusty roads!"

"Natural air? Or 'Natural Beauty' huh?", smirked she saying making Karan's eyes go wide as he blinked in horror stammering

"Wh-what na-natural b-beauty?"

"You know I have a feeling that you are not going for jogging but to meet some girl in name of jogging. Someone VERY PRETTYYY to meet whom you are going this impatient that you are checking your watch every passing minute, isn't that correct?"

She grinned asking, playing one of her wittiest smiles wiggling her eyebrows at Karan who quickly averted his gaze from his wrist watch at the mention of the same, hitting his palm on his face trying to showcase himself to be extremely annoyed and tired of her questions, but in reality he was just trying to cover off his nervous eyes as that would give away the message that she was correct.

He was also able to hide the smile which crept on his face automatically listening her words, specially the 'VERY PRETTY' part, as the face of Aditi flashed in his mind, making his smile only go bigger every second. Quickly replacing his true expressions with a frustrated frowning one, he shook his head gently rubbing his upper eyelids with his thumb and index finger muttering in a deep despaired deep tone

"You know what mom?"

"What???", Came the quick response from her making him lift his gaze meeting with her shining curious ones, probably expecting an 'You're correct mom' but getting the quite opposite from him lost all its shine.

"You're crazy!! You really in need of some serious sleep, please go take some! You are still dreaming, I'll return by 6:30, please have a good sleep until then", Saying that Karan turned letting out a chuckle taking the seat on his cycle starting to paddle leaving her furrowing her eyebrows at him.

Peeking behind from the corner of his eyes to watching her have a frown plastered on her face, made him smile and then laugh next moment noticing her do a quick right move from her lips stomping her foot entering inside murmuring something to herself closing the door behind.

Shaking his head chuckling at her reaction, he turned watching the path ahead starting to paddle at his usual speed mumbling to himself

"She's actually Very Pretty Mom!!"

A bright smile tucking on his lips as he grinned blushing to himself, the look which didn't creep down his face until he reached the park down the street from Aditi's home.

"Finally, I'm here"

Sighed Karan getting down his cycle parking it outside the park, taking off his hoodie styling his hair checking himself at the mirror in his phone, and then looking around the path ahead which was indeed calming as the canopies with light fog continued all the way ahead making him smile.

Checking his wrist watch which ticked exactly at 5:20 a.m, he realised he was actually early than he had thought, making hin smile proudly as Aman's words which he said whenever he reached school late, replayed itself in his mind

Can you ever be early somewhere?

"Only if you were here, you would be shocked!!", he chuckled to himself stating before shoving his cold hands inside his shirt side pockets glancing around one last time before turning to look at the board hung on the wall beside the gate reading which he smirked making a move inside the park, right after which he was left awed at the view, realising only then the words carved on the board outside 'Goodwill lake park'.

His eyes fixed blinking slowly taking in every fine detail of the scenic beauty ahead of him. The lake with its sheer calmness from the core to the ripples which danced with every contact of its own water being sprayed high in the air with aerating large fountains rowed up in the middle, moisturizing and cooling down the atmosphere.

The water droplets travelling with the breeze leaving a chilling yet extremely soothing sensation on the skin, making his eyes fall close as he breathed in the air, as in collecting all the calmness from the surrounding storing it inside him and his heart which skipped a few beats as the soft voice entered his ears leaving him breatheless

"Too calming, right?"

Opening his eyes, turning his head to its right finding Aditi stand grinning a wide heartwarming smile at him which reflected even from her dazzling gleamy eyes, made him smile naturally letting out an euphoric sigh of calmness, nodding his head looking into her captivating eyes muttering in a soft tone

"Much more calming now!"

The words escaped his lips, void of the ability to think much before his words making her grin change to one of confusion, as she blinked her eyes at him bringing him back to his senses as he blinked gazing around rephrasing his earlier words to her

"I mean now at this time of day!"

"Yeah you are right! Just why I love coming here this time of the day, everything feels so calming and soothing to the heart!", Her eyes reflecting her words as she beamed a large smile taking in a deep breathe inhaling the fresh air, feeling the droplets wet her face as she turned to face the lake, while Karan kept his gaze fixed on her smiling wide at her expressions.

Lowering down his gaze to see her shoes a broad smile tucked his lips as he noticed her wearing the same white sneakers as that of his. Lifting his gaze up slowly noticing every fine detail about her dress, starting from her black jeggings which had pink and white side stripes, to her full zipped pink hooded track jacket, on top of which she wore his black cardigan sweater, making him look up to her surprised, questioning

"You knew I would come?"

"I hoped!", came the sudden response from Aditi, as she kept her eyes focused on the wonderful view, just when she realised how weird she could have sounded, abruptly shifting her gaze back to him rephrasing her earlier sentence

"I mean I hoped because you forgot your sweater, and since looking at how cold it is these days, I hoped you to come and collect it back as soon as possible!", she stated playing a smile gulping on her saliva making Karan nod in understanding replying

"Yeah! I even wanted to meet y--yu--yucky, I me-mean la-luc--lucky.... LUCKY!! Meet Lucky!!!"

Karan stated stammering letting out a nervous laugh as Aditi turned small eyed hearing him, letting out a chuckle next moment as he finished, shaking her head in disbelief saying

"I wouldn't have minded even if you would have told you came to meet me!", Aditi chuckled saying, turning around to look for Lucky, leaving Karan stroking the side of his neck, nervously gazing around gulping down his saliva being left speechless, looking at whose expressions from the corner of her eyes she let out a laugh stepping out of the park to look for Lucky who was busy sniffing a street dog making her facepalm calling out to him

"Lucky see who's here to join us for jogging!"

Hearing her words Lucky paused sticking his tongue out understanding exactly whom was she speaking about, coming towards them running quickly, going straight to Karan who squatted down watching him coming, letting him leap on himself licking his face.

Lucky barked resting his front paws across Karan's shoulder licking him happy making him laugh giving him gentle back and under chin scrubs eyeing Aditi who translated Lucky's barks

"He's saying even he knew you would come"

"Oh wow, it looks like he has known me pretty well just from one meet!", Karan grinned ruffling Lucky's forehead furs holding him gently by his cheeks, hearing whom Lucky barked licking his face in response as 'Yes', making him laugh.

And while Karan played with Lucky, Aditi watched him silently admiring his impressive dressing sense and his dashing smart looks as he laughed and grinned like a Greek God, making her smile squatting herself down beside him massaging Lucky's neck while keeping her gaze fixed on him checking him out closely commenting

"You look good! Black suits you!!"

Shifting his gaze to her whose face was just at a distance from his smiling at him with a look which was enough to send his heart for a toss, and his words in a loss as he eyed her speechless with lips trembling and eyes blinking, playing a shy smile in response before pulling his gaze down.

Controlling his racing heart and the grin from spreading on his lips, he looked up at her slowly muttering with a small uneasy smile, too bashful to look into her eyes saying it

"You look very pretty too!"

"It took you so long to say that?", Aditi chuckled at him in disbelief who licked his lower lips biting his tongue for the umpteenth time in a minute playing a nervous smile stroking the back of his neck starting to mutter in a faint voice

"I was just-"

"It's okay, I'm just kidding! And you don't have to actually tell something in return or compliment when somebody compliments you!", she chuckled shaking her head at him whose jaws left hanging midair as he shook his head slightly in denial about to tell her that she understood him wrong and he was just nervous, but before he could utter a word she stood saying

"Come on, Let's start jogging!"

Lucky responded to her voice immediately, moving out of Karan's hold, running straight ahead in the park's jogging trail, behind whom followed she pulling the hood over her head, starting to jog leaving Karan stand rooted facepalming and cursing himself mentally

Misunderstanding right from the beginning! Great going Karan! Keep it up!!

He closed his eyes lowering his gaze to his shoes shaking his head in disappointment, just when her voice brought him out of his trance of thoughts

"Karannnnn! You coming?"

"Yeah! Just a second", heaving a sigh pulling the hood over his head he ran towards her who flashed him a smile and the two started jogging slowly with Lucky running ahead of them.

"So Karan, tell me something about yourself", Asked Aditi after a brief minute of silence piercing through his trance who was caught up with his own thoughts still thinking about the happening of a minute earlier, making him turn his head to look at her smiling sheepishly

"What do you wanna know?"

"To start with... Ummm... Yeahh...! Do you go for jogging everyday?", questioned she after thinking for a while, making him gaze down and then uplift his eyes looking into her shiny curious ones, replying with a thin line of smile curving his lips

"It's my first time!"

"Really?", Aditi passed him a surprised look having her eyes wide open whilst his blinked, nodding in affirmation making her exclaim in wonder

"Wow!! Then I'm your first jogging partner!?", asked she bright eyed looking into his eyes which reflected his smile as he murmured

"Only partner", the words escaped his lips before he could even frame it properly, but it only lead to a broader grin creeping up her lips as they watched each other staring into one another eyes, gazing apart only when Lucky started barking from the chain link fences at a pair of spot-billed ducks swimming in the water.

Stopping by the fence, bending down to Lucky's height Aditi calmed him down massaging his forehead from her fingers asking

"What happened Lucky?"

Lucky barked again making her turn looking at the direction he was pointing, and spotting the two ducks in the lake water exclaimed surprised

"Wowww, now I get what makes you bark this excited!"

"What is it?", Questioned Karan getting nothing, looking baffled at the ducks who didn't seem to have anything special about them and then Aditi who stood answering him

"You know there was always this one lightish blue duck in this lake, who swimmed alone, and was never accompanied by any other duck, right from the very first day we started jogging here, but see today out of nowhere this other duck has arrived! And they even look so happy together!"

She spoke smiling at the two ducks making Karan turn smiling watching the pair who were now spinning around each other splashing water on one another using their beaks, tucking a wide grin on his face as he remarked

"Beauty of nature! Nobody stays alone for a long time! Everyone finds someone, someday!", Aditi turned her head slightly to face Karan who was already facing him with a content smile gleaming from his look, bringing a content look on her own as she looked deep into his eyes blinking in accordance.

The two averted their gazes back to the lake ducks, resting their heads on the fence watching them okay, until Aditi turned her head glancing at Karan asking

"So which bird are you?"

"Sorry?", Karan asked not getting the meaning behind the sudden question watching her baffled who was about to clear out the meaning but he spoke not letting her speak

"Wait I got it! You mean between these two ducks isn't it? I will say the other black spot-billed duck is me because even it has appeared today for the first time just like me, and besides that, the other light blue one resembles you more, because its color matches with your eye color, so you gotta be that one! What do you say?"

Karan suggested smiling confidently at Aditi, losing all of his confidence next moment as he noticed her facial expressions who seemed to be trying to stop herself from smiling having her lips rolled in and eyes small, taking away his smile replacing it with one of embarrassed as he bit his tongue thinking over her question again asking after a moment of awkward silence

"That was not what you meant from birds, is it?", he questioned looking at her small eyed who shook her head in denial causing him to squeeze his eyes closed gnawing on his inner cheeks, mentally facepalming for embarrassing himself yet once again in front of her mentally groaning

Great Karan! Superb!! Well done!!! Leave no stones unturned to make yourself look like a creep today!!

"That was actually so cute!! Now after you telling I am realising they actually kinda resemble us", stated she bringing him out of his trance making his eyes go open smiling wide at her with a look which had "Seriously you think that?", plastered on it, watching which she nodded blinking her eyes in accordance turning to watch the ducks saying

"Just look at them--", Aditi's voice dried out reducing to inaudible whispers at the view causing her smile to drop noticing which Karan's eyes narrowed. Following her gaze to look at the ducks, even his smile didn't take long to disappear as his eyes fell on the two ducks having their beaks joined facing one another, watching whom he commented

"Okay, I take my words back, they don't resemble us that much!", Karan commented controlling his laughter moving his head slightly towards his left to glance at Aditi who was already looking at him from the corner of her eyes having her lips rolled in, both bursted out laughing.

Laughing uncontrollably with all their heart, turning to lean on the fence having their back facing the lake they watched each other from the corner of their eyes having their heads slightly turned towards each other as they laughed, looking deep into each other's eyes, slowly fading away their laughter, transforming into a content grin as they exchanged smiles turning back to face the other side of the lake.

After a complete minute of silence, getting their breathes even and heartbeats back to normal speed, Aditi spoke gaining Karan's attention

"I meant if you are an early bird or a night owl?", chuckling noiselessly Karan inhaled out a sharp breathe looking around the view of the lake answering

"Neither of those! I'm an early to bed, late to rise bird!!", She laughed at his honest words making her gaze shift towards him asking the doubt which crept in her mind at his answer

"Then waking up today this early must have been a tough task right?"

Only if I had to wake up today!

Karan muttered inaudibly rolling his eyes making her furrow her brows asking baffled

"Did you say something?"

"Nah! Getting up today wasn't that tough", Karan let out an unconvincing smile not meeting her eyes making Aditi scrunch her eyes looking at him just when she noticed the light but visible dark circles beneath his tired looking eyes saying

"But your eyes say a complete different story! It looks so tired, like you didn't sleep whole night!", Karan's eyes went wide as he bit his tongue gulping down the saliva turning his head towards her slowly watching her expressions which read anger as she uplifted her eyebrows questioning again

"You didn't sleep, did you?"

Karan glanced around his shoulder wetting his lips with a quick swipe around it with his tongue, thinking some reason when he heard her voice call out to him again, in a tone which warned him to say the truth

"Karannnnnnnnn!!!"

"I didn't get sleep", he stated honestly eyeing up to her face who watched him for some seconds letting out a sigh finding no trace of lies in his eyes saying

"Next time you are not coming for jogging, like this!"

"But..."

"No but!", Aditi silenced Karan who looked to argue but could barely say a word as her voice commanded again

"You will take a proper sleep! If you get up, then you are allowed to come, but staying awake whole night, or sleeping for few hours won't work!! You get that??", She spoke mounting her hands on her hips, hearing whom even Lucky barked as in to repeat the very same, making Karan eye him and then her frowning

"I have no other option, do I?"

"No! You don't"

"Then, got it!", Karan sighed stating with a shrug of his shoulder, making Aditi shake her head in disapproval, with a face expression which had 'Not like this' written all over it, as she stretched her palm front of him telling

"Promise me!"

Looking between her and her hand, looking into her eyes which held care, care for him, a bright smile crept up his lips as he placed his palm firmly on her soft ones blinking his eyes in affirmation whispering in a soft comforting tone "promise".

Looking into her shining blue orbs which shined reading the same from his eyes, formed up a smile on her face, which only grew bigger as two stared longer keeping their hands intact on top of one another, coming out of their world when Lucky barked raising one of his front paws touching Karan's legs calling him watching whom Aditi chuckled explaining him to Karan who watched him baffled

"Even he needs a promise"

Watching Aditi and then Lucky amazed who barked as in to say 'yes' raising his paw again, made Karan chuckle bending down to his height holding his paws shaking it gently telling

"Awww! I promise to you too Lucky!", Karan let out a chuckle getting up after giving Lucky back and neck rubs for a minute, looking at Aditi questioning

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure!"

"Is my face really this easy to read?", asked Karan honestly the question which always runs in his mind, but he can not really ask anyone, as Aman would start boasting himself whereas asking this to his mom would always result in the same dialogue 'I'm your mom, I have kept you inside my womb for 9 months, can tell even from one glance at your face if you are hungry or not, from the tine you didn't know how to speak', which was indeed true but not the answer he wanted.

"No, why?"

"You know be it my mom, Aman or even Tanu, everyone guesses the exact story which I haven't even told them just by a look at my face, like it's an open book which they read every single time without any real difficulty in reading! Even you guessed I didn't sleep whole night so easily! I don't understand how do everyone manage to do it, every single time honestly!"

Karan shook his head sighing smiling sheepishly at Aditi who had a grin plastered on her lips as she watched him chuckling noiselessly through her nostrils bending down to hold Lucky's cheeks playing with his furs, answering

"Some people can see right through your eyes, getting to know everything, even the things you are not telling them or hiding from them. Then it has nothing to do with how good you are at hiding things, or hide your true feelings from your face, they will know it, one way or another, because those are the people who understand you like nobody else does, who truely know you and love you"

Aditi smiled looking up at Karan who just watched her with jaws hanging loose in midair, blinking his eyes at her who looked down gently grinning and feathering a kiss on Lucky's head saying

"Let's continue jogging!"

Lucky responded to her call immediately, barking and running ahead whilst she just chuckled getting up looking at Karan who was mooning over her taking in every fine detail of her smiling face, repeating her last words to himself

"Who truely know you and love you"

"You have something to tell?", Aditi eyed watching Karan murmuring something to himself, who just shook his head in denial zipping his lips beaming a smile at her responding

"You answered my question!"

"Well, Let's jog then!"

"Sure, go ahead!", Karan blinked his eyes at her in accordance waiting for her to leave and as she did jogging behind Lucky, he released a sigh shaking his head at his thoughts, just when he heard her yell his name again creeping up a wide grin on his face as he yelled back 'coming', joining her in no second and the two jogged their way all around the park asking each other their food interests, color choice and future ambitions.

Talking and getting to know each other better for the next half an hour, both were sat tired on the bench near to the entrance, catching their breathes back just when both moved their heads to watch each other letting out a chuckle, before leaning comfortably on the bench with head gazing up at the clear sky.

Staring at the passing clouds for a while, calming their racing heartbeats down, Aditi shifted her gaze towards Karan calling out to him grabbing his attention

"Karan!"

"Yeah?"

"Let's take a picture as a memory of our first jogging day!"

Suggested she eyeing him into his eyes which gleamed at her words. Quickly pulling out his phone from his pocket turning on the camera he was about to click a picture, just when Lucky jumped up the bench sitting comfortably between the gap of the two, making them both chuckle and then saying 'cheese' Karan clicked the picture.

Looking at the picture, which had them both grinning wide flashing their widest toothy smiles because of Lucky who had his tongue out smiling, both laughed going to kiss Lucky at the same time who jumped down the exact moment making their foreheads and nose collide on one another.

Their lips barely touching one another's, as both had pouted to kiss Lucky but instead almost kissed each other's lips made them quickly pull apart feeling their hearts pounding like never before, against their chest causing them both to apologize in an union

"I'm sorry!! I was just kissing Lucky", both glanced hearing one another, before gazing down letting out heavy breathes closing their eyes to calm their wild hearts down. An awkward silence enveloping the surrounding, as the two waited for the other to start, but neither of them did, until finally Aditi decided to break the ice saying

"Send me the picture too"

Hearing her, Karan forwarded his phone to her keeping it in her hands who passed him a confused look, making him smile clearing out himself

"I'll be needing your number for that!", passing him a look at his words gazing down smiling to herself, she took the phone from his hands saving her number, returning it back to him telling

"Never thought I would ever save my number myself in somebody's phone, not at least a guy's phone", Aditi chuckled stating grinning to herself and so did Karan listening to her. Taking his phone shoving it inside his pocket he lowered his gaze to his shoes replying

"Neither did I think that I would ever ask someone to save their number in my phone, not at least a girl!", muttered he and the two chuckled again turning to face one another grinning with a smile which was being reciprocated exactly from their eyes. Gazing down Karan questioned checking his wrist watch which was ticking at 6:25 asking

"Shall we leave?"

"Yeah! Let's go, Come on Lucky!", Aditi stood calling out to Lucky who had run after a dog, returning quickly on one call and the two walked out of the park behind whom followed Lucky.

Karan took his cycle but instead of riding it, just held it by the handle moving it along with him, as he walked alongside Aditi who just beamed a smile at his gesture of walking with her home, instead of leaving directly in his cycle.

The two walked silently not uttering a word, but there was a strange peace inside their hearts not letting the smile leave their faces until they reached her home.

Giving his sweater back to him, exchanging a smile both bid each other adieu. Watching Aditi wave her hands at him and then turn moving towards the door, Karan bit his tongue getting reminded of the thing he couldn't just leave without telling, making him quickly call out to her

"Aditi!"

Turning to face him, she forwarded him a questioning look watching whom he bent his head sucking in a sharp breathe, accumulating the courage he required, speaking in a deep yet soft tone

"I didn't compliment you because you complimented me!", He uplifted his head turning to look at Aditi who watched him baffled as he stated ahead

"I was just nervous how to say it, but what I said I meant it. You are actually looking very pretty!", Karan smiled to himself saying it, gazing down instantly feeling extremely shy to look into her eyes. As she didn't speak a word, he grew nervous biting his tongue quickly adding

"Okay Bye, meet you tomorrow in the trip"

Starting to paddle away quickly Karan didn't dare to have a look at her again, and neither did she want him to look, as her cheeks were deep flushed, going red as she gazed down having her eyes fixed on her shoes fidgeting with her fingers.

Gazing up after some seconds to find him gone, she let out an euphoric sigh of relief grinning to herself, which went fading away when her eyes fell on Lucky who was sat right where Karan was stood earlier with his cycle having his tongue sticking out, the smirking look which only she could understand as he barked making her roll her eyes. Turning to face towards the door, she walked not before exclaiming to Lucky

"I'm not blushing!"

I chucked the trip to the next update, as I didn't want to make this chapter too big! Hope you enjoyed it;)
