Ch 45- Staying By
Fear!
The feeling not every body likes to wear! But yet some brave hearts, take pride to bear!
The ones like Aman who are broken, fear! Fear to have somebody perfect, near.
Fighting it all alone, scared to be happy, they drink their tear! Not letting anyone in, frightened to have their scars reappear!
'Letting Go' much easier than 'Letting In', for which the answer always remains- SORRY DEAR!
Heaving a sigh out, being lost in his own world of thoughts, Aman shook his head uplifting it to eye the entrance of the park across the road as he leaned against the banyan tree taking cover from rain waiting for Karan.
A smile forming up on his lips, as he watched himself and Kanishka stand staring at each other on the road, whilst getting wet in the rain. The scenes from half an hour before, replaying itself like a hologram projection has been turned on, making him visualise every fine detail of the moment from his memory which his eyes had saved and stored carefully for him.
That look of her eyes, staring deeply into his own, so different than all other his eyes has seen, one which trembles his whole inside, imparting those heartly warm feelings which makes him calm, and then no matter how cold he might wanna sound, he ends up sounding softer than ever.
Something about her eyes makes him wanting to set his heart loose in its innocence, the childlike shine causing him to grin effortlessly both inside as well as outside reminding him his old forgotten self, which he has buried deep inside, arising his fears but yet somewhere a ray of hope.
A hope which melts his pensive look into a smile as soft as the morning light, just the one lingering on his face right now as he watched her and himself lost at one another in his hallucination, which went fading away with the voice
"What so interesting today about the park entrance?"
Came the baffled question from Karan disrupting Aman's trance of thoughts shattering the images created by his mind, causing him to finally gaze apart, towards him and next moment shifting back glancing at the road where stood none dawning the realization that it was nothing but a hallucination, a sweet one making him heave a sigh.
Shaking his head, he cleared his thoughts, with his gaze lowered which shifted abruptly at Karan hearing him ask again
"Whom were you waiting for?"
Having an eyeful of Karan clenching his jaws at his question, Aman stared him wide eyed who looked elsewhere immediately stroking the back of his neck scared of Aman's look realising how dumb he sounded, he quickly added as Aman began to speak
"I was waiting for-"
"Okay, okay, okay!! Got it!! I'm Sorry!"
Aman hummed nodding at Karan's quick apology as he raised his hand renounced, making Aman smirk chuckling lightly just when his eyes spotted the missing sweater, making him question
"Where's your sweater?"
"Sweater?", Karan looked down checking his shoulder taken aback only to squeeze his eyes closed groaning to himself, punching his thigh
Shittt!! I forgot to take it back from her!
"Ahhhaaan?? Her!! I see!", Aman smirked wiggling his eyebrows at Karan who bit his tongue mentally slapping himself for saying that aloud looking at Aman about to say something in his clearance but was Aman even listening anything more?
Definitely Not.
"Let me guess!!" Karan watched Aman corner eyed as he smirked wide beginning
"You got the golden opportunity to walk Aditi home, so on the way you offered her your sweater because it was cold. When you both reached her home, you gave her the bag which I'm very sure you would have been carrying all the while, and she in return gave you an umbrella instead of your sweater!! AWWWW HOW THOUGHTFUL OF HER!!"
Aman took a pause flashing Karan one of his cheekiest witty smiles, pulling his cheeks lightly who jerked his hand off having his eyebrows raised annoyed, making Aman chuckle and then continue speaking
"And you already lost in your own happy or to say your blue eyes world, completely forgot your sweater!! And returned all the way smiling with the umbrella!! HOW SWEET!", Aman squeezed his eyes blinking profound at Karan who was about to please him with his sweetness, when Aman pointed his index finger at him stopping him with a confused look asking
"But one doubt? Why didn't she remind you? Did she also forget or maybe-", Aman smirked at Karan bringing his hand back eyeing Karan all surprised making Karan uplift his eyebrows glancing around before asking Aman out of curiosity who waited eagerly for him to ask
"Maybe? Maybe what?"
"Maybeeee...!!! She wants you to visit her again to take it, so that you can probably have dinner with her today! So I'll recommend you strongly to go there with your pillow, have dinner, sleep and stay there itself, don't return back before tomorrow or maybe don't return from there at all! Stay there!! Happily ever after!!"
Aman stretched his arms wide grinning at Karan who had his jaws and fist clenched as he waited Aman to finish watching him with a sullen fiery gaze. And as soon he finished, he flashed him his over-sweet grin muttering an 'Aww', making Aman flash a faint smile only to earn a hard smack on his shoulder next second.
The hit which almost had him tripped down, but the timely support of the tree prevented him from tasting the not so tasty mud. Balancing himself, watching Karan stepp near him furiously, Aman quickly surrendered raising his hands
"Okay okay fine!! I was just kidding!"
"What's my cycle doing here?", Asked Karan after a brief moment of silence rolling his eyes at Aman watching his cycle parked near Aman's on the opposite of the road, hearing whom Aman tossed the keys towards him saying
"Here, catch! Let's go!"
Grabbing the keys Karan followed behind not getting his question answered by Aman who looked in a hurry to escape as he very well realized, the showers of rain was much easier to handle, than the shower of questions Karan was about to bestow upon him.
"How did you get my keys? Didn't Kanishka have it?? And if she didn't take my cycle, how did she even return her home??"
As expected!!
Aman murmured under his breathe rolling his eyes as the rain of question had already begun showering, before he could even sit on his cycle making him leap on to his cycle starting to paddle quickly but not before shoting Karan an angry glare which had "come on, it's raining, what's more important?" written all over it, looking at which Karan furrowed his eyebrows signalling "The answer of questions", following him behind asking
"So you ain't gonna tell me anything?"
Aman ignored Karan's words like he never heard it, looking elsewhere just not him who nodded his head in understanding, telling
"Okay! Then, Let me guess!", Glancing at Aman who was now peeking at him corner eyed as Karan just reciprocated his own tone, making him roll his eyes whilst Karan chuckled continuing
"Kanishka came to you being all very emotional, and so were you hurt and angry, but then looking at her tears you gave up on all your anger and forgave her in a second. Then it started raining, and you being a very caring person, couldn't let her drive a cycle in this weather, so you dropped her home in your very own cycle! AWWWW HOW THOUGHTFUL OF YOU!!"
Karan reciprocated Aman's earlier tone again flashing him a similar smile stretching his right hand to get hold of his cheek who jerked his hand away infuriated making him chuckle and then continue
"And I also have a strong feeling you must have offered her your leather hooded jacket which you surely didn't forget to take back unlike me. HOW SWEET OF YOU!!", Karan peeked slightly at Aman who bit his lips triggered at the use of his own tone against him, running his eyeballs all around his left and right, somewhere amazed at how he knew everything so precisely.
The one surprised look on his face enough to clear Karan's lingering doubts over it, coming to a conclusion that he was correct for the most of it, smirking proudly muttering an "Gotcha!", and then the words which took Aman by a shock
"And that's how you got the keys as well!"
"G-g-got WHATTT!!???", Aman stuttered passing Karan a horror look. His eyes almost popping out of its sockets look, taking Karan by a weird bewilderment as he narrowed his eyes shrugging his shoulder repeating
"Keys! My cycle keys!"
"Oh yes! Yeah, keys! Indeed!", Aman let out a nervous laugh turning his head shifting his gaze to the road mentally slapping and cursing himself and then Kanishka for feeding something in his mind, which he would remember every single time he hears the word 'keys'.
While he shook his head groaning grinding his teeth murmuring things to himself, Karan watched him clueless thinking over his words which caused such a reaction from him and only after repeating his words several times in his mind, his eyes grew baffled having caught something out of the blue
"Wait? I said keys, but what did you hear? Did you take something else rhyming with keysssssss", smirked Karan wide dramatically stretching the word "keys" intentionally, making it sound like "kiss". His curios eyes digging holes at Aman who could feel his strong gaze making him gulp down his saliva quickly before turning on his uninterested poker face eyeing him who had 'Come on, you can tell me' written all over his face, making him raise his eyebrows commenting
"I was just thinking something else, not any of those bullshits brewing in that dirty mind of yours"
"Ooooooooo", Karan formed an "o" from his lips, nodding at Aman dramatically signalling from his eyebrows "Is it?", To which Aman flashed a "Yes" smile zipping his lips nodding back, before replying
"And chuck that, tell me when are you going to meet Aditi? Now that you have also seen her house! I'm guessing you gonna spend some quality time there with her! Huh?"
"And I'm the one who's dirty minded and brews bullshits!", Karan remarked rolling his eyes at Aman who let out a chuckle and the two continued cycling stopping only at Tanu's house, knocking the door to grab Karan's bag before leaving home.
"Oh my- you guys are soaked!", exclaimed Tanu upon opening the door watching the two who were wet top to bottom but seemed less bothered as they just smiled back in response glancing at each other while she continued moving aside
"Come in before you catch cold, I'll give you a towel"
"No, but just give me my bag! We should be heading home right now! It's real late, and don't want all the mud to enter the house, so we'll meet you tomorrow!"
Replied Karan quick, listening to whom Tanu passed a state before shifting her gaze to look at Aman who nodded in approval making her heave a loud sigh. Entering the home grabbing Karan's bag handing it over to him, she was about to say just when her eyes caught Karan's missing sweater making her smirk mentally grinning where it must be right now, questioning with a smirk
"So are you going Aditi's house next to grab your offered sweater?", Karan's mouth hung open at her words, biting his tongue under his teeth he squeezed hisneyes closed shutting his lips tight facepalming and groaning inside, feeling Aman's shoulder striking against his own after the comment.
He didn't really have to look at Aman and Tanu's face to guess how wide was their smirk, as the gaze could be felt even without seeing, making him roll his eyes as he heard Aman ask next
"I don't think you would like a company there Karan?"
"Of course not bhaiya, come on don't be the third wheel!!", replied Tanu and the two hi-fived leaving Karan facepalming as he shot Tanu an 'Even you?' kinda look who flashed him her entire set of teeth shrugging her shoulders in response
"Can't help, Sorry!"
"It's completely fine Tanu, no need to apologise, you said nothing wrong", replied Aman before Karan could even open his mouth to say a word earning an elbow on his stomach groaning at the hit
"Has anyone asked you anything?", Aman let out a chuckle, hearing whom Karan was about to strike him again but before he could Tanu interrupted
"Okay, okay, now first stop fighting! And go home! Get yourself dried, grab a hot cup of ginger tea! Have your dinner soon and lastly make sure you sleep early today, I don't want you to be running around having cold and fever tomorrow morning!"
Ended she watching the two having her hands folded across her chest and the fingers pointed out at her each point, making the two glance at each other exchanging a smile which had 'you know what to do' pasted all over it, as the two wiggled their eyebrows before turning straight posing a salute raising their right hand and leg alternately speaking in an union
"Yes ma'am!"
"Get lost!", muttered she shutting the door on their face who chuckled at her reaction completing a hi-five before yelling
"Love you!!"
"Hate you!!", The instant reply had them laughing as they made their way towards their cycle not before yelling back in voice synchronizing
"Love you more!!!"

Understanding someone or something is quite an art!
Patience's the key, as it's not a job done overnight, but part by part!
Some hold on to their fears and secrets, buried deep inside their heart!
Like it's theirs, theirs alone to keep, not letting a thing apart!
But the very moment one decides to stay by and not depart!
Magic happens, As it's never too late or early to start!
Sighing reading the poem, Kanishka placed the book of poems, on the table beside her, before leaning straight on her alvino rocking chair lost in her own world of thoughts.
Tilting her head after a brief moment of thinking in complete silence, she gazed upward to face the clear cloudless deep serene. It was a dark night, lit by the vivid fairy lights of the brilliant beautiful pearls of nighttime- of those bright little stars, amid which was the silvery glow of the moon, illuminating the atramentous curtain of sky.
The soft wind flowing, and the calmness in the surrounding was enough to make anyone smile softly, and on any other day she would grin broadly at the view enjoying the calming silence, but today was different. All she could feel or think about was Aman, her mind totally occupied by his thoughts.
Even when looking at the sky, all her eyes could see was his teary red eyes, blinking his tears as in his true feelings, fighting with his own self to not let his heart take over his mind scared to speak out his true voice, as he turned down her offer to work together on his anger issues saying a straight-faced 'No', betraying his own true feelings.
The image of his hurt eyes, in itself narrating an entire story, sketched and saved in her eyes, in her memories, one which she couldn't take off her mind or delete, neither did she want to.
A lone tear escaping her eye rolling down her cheek making a steady wet path, experiencing the heart rending pain of his eyes which couldn't speak or cry, the one which she couldn't feel or understand until today.
All her hatred, anger, doubts vanished in thin air, leaving her mind full of his thoughts, and her heart with a sense of guilty, at how wrong she was till now in accounting a person as heartless, who had a heart made of gold. Hidden, but golden.
Tilting her head and as in her thoughts back to the book kept upside down on the table, she picked it up reading the last few lines again
But the very moment one decides to stay by and not depart!
Magic happens, As it's never too late or early to start!
A thought creeping up her mind, as she eyed her phone reciting to herself the last words again
Never too late or early to start!
Getting up grabbing her phone, opening Tanu's contact, waiting for some seconds having some final words to herself before dialling, she let out a final sigh pressing the call icon, which was soon answered by Tanu with an enthusiastic voice greeting
"Hiii kanisshhh!!"
"Hiii Tanu!"
"You will live more than 100 years! I was just thinking about you!", Exclaimed Tanu making Kanishka chuckle muttering a "wow", while Tanu continued
"Yeah! I was actually thinking if everything went well back in the park with Aman bhaiya. And if you reached home safe!"
"Yeah everything was fine! I even reached home safe! Aman wasn't really angry, instead he himself dropped me home in his cycle!"
"Really???", Exclaimed Tanu out of surprise, making Kanishka smile gladly for unknown reason nodding slightly to herself replying murmuring an "yeah".
"Bhaiya never fails to surprise me!"
"Me too", whispered Kanishka in a faint voice inaudible much to Tanu who questioned
"What? Did you say something?"
"Mm.. nothing! Actually, I needed one favor from you"
"Yeah, sure! What is it?",
"Can you give me his contact number?", Asked Kanishka in a low tone having her eyes squeezed tight and tongue bitten under her front teeth unsure of the reaction she might get, but to her surprise came a calm cool response from Tanu
"Sure, I'll text you right away!"
"Thank you!!"
"Mention not, we are all friends, we must have each other's contact number! I'll send you Karan bhaiya's as well!"
"Sure! By the way, one more thing I wanted to know!", Kanishka blurted out nervous, only to get a response which had her laughing
"Home address? That I don't have!"
"No, no, not home address, come on!", Kanishka chuckled at Tanu's innocence shaking her head facepalming, listening to whom Tanu replied
"I thought you wanted his home address too! Then what, landline number?"
"Nooooo, I just wanted to know if Aman would be awake this time of night?"
"Awake? He must be dancing right now!", Tanu joked chuckling at Kanishka who was referring 10 p.m as 'this time of night', causing Kanishka to mutter an "oh", speaking mentally
Wow, Aman dances too? Didn't know he could dance!
She thought nodding to herself amazed, only if she had any idea that's not what Tanu meant exactly. Her train of thoughts getting interrupted by Tanu as she spoke again
"He's very active, a bit too active at nights. He barely sleeps, 10 p.m's no big deal to him, he probably sleeps like between 3 to 4 a.m somtimes even 5. No matter how much I or Karan bhaiya scold him or tell him to sleep early, he just doesn't listen to anybody!", sighed Tanu shaking her head shrugging in her bed annoyed at Aman's habit while Kanishka formed an 'o' from her lips mentally noting down this point commenting
"Well! Only we humans have tendency to listen and understand! Sadly your brother doesn't come under the same category!", Tanu chuckled facepalming at her words replying back
"Why don't you call and say that to him, cuz I'm sleepy!"
"I'll! Bye, Good night!"
"Good night!", Came the last response from Tanu who hanged up the call, leaving Kanishka imagining Aman dancing on top of his roof jumping on nearby branches of the tree and then back to the roof, yelling "monkey dance, monkey dance", instead of "lungi dance, lungi dance", bursting out laughing at her imagination, just when her phone buzzed with a message bringing her out of her weird but satisfyingly hilarious thoughts.
"Karan Bhaiya-911082****
Aman Bhaiya-760892****"
It was none other than Tanu's who had sent both Karan and Aman's number, which she quick saved taking a little more time on selecting Aman's contact name, smiling widely after selecting one. Chuckling for some seconds she was about to click the call icon just when a thought crept in her mind as she giggled clicking on the video call icon.
With every passing second of call ringing, she grew more excited but on the other hand her heart raced growing more nervous as her hand automatically travelled to her hair quick combing and styling with her fingers, coming down slowly to wipe her face with a quick palm action.
And in the meanwhile she checked herself out, Aman saw the video call coming from an unknown number making him mount his hand on his hips sighing heavily
"Video call from an unknown number? This moron Karan got no better work than disturbing me even during nights?"
Complaining to himself furrowing his eyebrows cursing Karan at least a million times under his breathe, Aman picked up the call all ready to yell, only to have his words dried up in his mouth as the screen which was black all this while, out of the blue displayed Kanishka who had done it intentionally hiding her screen doubting if he would pick up the call if he sees her already.
"Surprise!", Yelled she grinning at Aman who rubbed his eyes still confused, thinking it still to be an hallucination having already felt it quite a number of times from the time he returned home not being able to think anything but her, he expected living another one of those unaware of it being real this time around.
"My bewitching beauty left you confused if it's a dream and you are in fairy world, isn't it?", Hearing these words from Kanishka Aman's hands paused movement. It didn't take long for him to understand that nobody else not even Kanishka's hallucination but Kanishka herself can say these words.
"Not sure about bewitching, but you sure look like one witch which left me confused if it's the same dumb girl I know from my own class", Aman commented moving his hand smirking at Kanishka whose proud smile vanished at his words as she replied
"Am I looking like Rose to you?", Her straight-faced serious question had Aman laughing, the sight which formed a smile on her own making her heart skip some beats, as she asked
"Is that your bedroom?"
"Does it look like bathroom to you?", Asked Aman shrugging his shoulder causing her to roll eyes answering
"No, but I expected you to be around the tree!"
Aman huffed raising his eyebrows before smirking at her commenting
"But I expected you to be on some balcony, wild cats, can't risk you letting inside home!", Aman nodded to himself in understanding, smirking at her who barely heard a thing as she grew excited to ask the question grinning wide at him
"Were you dancing?"
The smirk on Aman's face vanished in thin air, as he eyed her baffled before glancing around shaking his head clueless of what appearance of his room made her think that way, before furrowing his eyebrows weirded out
"What?"
"Yeah! I know you were dancing! Tanu told me!"
"What the hell? What exactly she told you?"
"When I asked Tanu if you would be awake right now, she said "Awake? He must be dancing right now"", Aman's eyes narrowed as he facepalmed, looking up at the ceiling huffing in disbelief when he heard her speak again
"Now, Come on Aman, now don't hide it from me! Show me some steps, I'm waiting!"
Gritting his teeth he shot her an angry glare, who had a childish smirk adorning her lips making him clench his jaws tight asking
"You understand sarcasm?"
"Yes I do, you don't?", Asked Kanishka casually causing Aman's grip on the phone tighten whilst his other hand rubbed his temple and forehead calming his nerves, before looking up at her grinding his teeth
"Have you really called me at this time of night just to eat my head?"
"Come on, I'm vegetarian! Besides, I don't eat empty things", Kanishka shook her head as well as her free hand in disinterest, as if to decline a offer being made causing Aman to squeeze his eyes closed letting out heavy breathes fuming
"Cut the call!"
"No!"
"Okay, then I'm cutting the call!"
"No wait, please-", spoke Kanishka quickly making Aman's finger pull back itself from disconnecting the call. Biting his inner cheeks looking at her innocent little face pleading him not to cut the call, Aman let out a sigh turning on a poker face hiding behind his smile, while she continued
"I called to ask if you are coming for the school trip, the day after tomorrow?", Kanishka played a hopeful smile with eyes shining at Aman, who pressed his lips together shaking his head, blinking his eyes with a hint of disapproval
"No!"
"But why?", questioned back Kanishka instantly making Aman glance around gnawing on his cheeks
"Because, I don't like trips!"
"So?"
"So I won't go?"
"Even I don't like your hair, doesn't mean I burn it right?", uplifting his eyebrows at her comment Aman shook his head baffled at her, who looked so confident of her logic making him ask
"What? How is it even related?"
"It's completely related, just the way I don't burn your hair because I don't like it, similarly you should also not mess my trip, because you don't like it!"
"How am I even messing your trip?"
"You areeee definitely messinggg my trip!!", Yelled she at him who yelled back shaking his head completely clueless
"Howwww??"
"If you won't go, how will I go????"
"What am I? The bus driver? Without whom you cannot go? Use your legs, walk and goo!!"
"I can't go without youuu!!", the words left Kanishka's mouth as she screeched making Aman smile, which soon turned into his natural smirk as he asked in a low calm tone looking into her eyes which gazed down at his stare
"And why is that?"
"B-Be--Because-umm", Kanishka stuttered glancing around thinking for a quick second before gulping down her saliva answering with a confident look but still not looking into his eyes
"Because if you won't go, Karan won't go as well! Aditi is already not interested, if she comes to know even you guys are not going, then she won't agree! And I'll be left alone, I can't enjoy alone in a trip without any of my friends!", Kanishka frowned finally gazing up to look into his eyes passing him her cutest puppy look.
Aman felt his heart melting and beating faster, pounding strongly against his chest at her look. She looked incredibly cute with that bright as star shine twinkling in her eyes, one which he couldn't deny or even stop staring at. Biting his inner cheeks harder to not smile at her look, he gazed down sucking in a sharp breathe whispering
"Okay fine, I will come for the trip!"
"Yippeeee!!"
"But!", Interrupted his voice bringing an end to her happy smile turning it into a deep frowning one as she questioned
"But? But what?"
"The reason I'm coming is not you but it is because I don't want anybody else's trip to get spoiled because of me okay?"
"Okaaaayyyyyyyyyy", Kanishka said dramatically, in response to which Aman let out a light chuckle replying in a similar manner
"Okaaaayyyyyyyyyy byyyeeeee"
"Shut up! And tell me why don't you sleep early?"
"Sorry?"
"Yes good, you should be sorry!!", Said Kanishka nodding her head as in to accept Aman's sorry, causing him blinking his eyes at her raising his hand having his fingers spread in wonder
"What's your problem?"
"Problem is your sleeping timing! What do you even do staying awake half the night?", Asked kanishka and before Aman could even question her back in return or say anything she spoke again snapping her fingers though she didn't know how to snap muttering in a tone excited
"So you are the one??"
"The one? Which one?"
"I always wondered if roosters wakes us up early in the morning, who wakes them up? Now I get it! You wake the roosters up! Don't you?", Kanishka grinned proud as if to have solved the mystery of the century, infuriating Aman who rubbed his palm on his face trying to calm his anger boiling inside only to lose it all at her next words
"Even your haitstyles's inspired from them! Isn't it?"
"Shuuuuut uppppppp!!! Just shut up",
Yelled Aman fuming crushing his fingernails deep into his palms, taking Kanishka by a sudden shock as she flinched at the loud noise, blinking innocently at him who watched her angry
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I was just kidding! Please don't hurt yourself again because of me!", Her voice faint whispers as she gazed down getting reminded of his hurt hand, for which she still blames herself.
The one hurt look on her face, making Aman groan inside, as he closed his eyes calming himself losing grip of his tightly closed fist sighing, muttering after a brief moment of silence
"I'm sorry! I just lose control over myself when I'm angry!"
"It's okay, I'm sorry too!"
"Yeah you should be the one sorry! It's all your mistake", replied Aman hiding the smirk behind his straight face, only to break out laughing at the affect of his words causing a fast transition of her facial expressions from sad to mad as she raised one of her eyebrow frowning like a kid screeching
"It was all your mistake, you monkey-head!!", yelled she biting her lip to control herself from smiling, only to end up chuckling along with him. Laughing looking at each other for some moments, Aman remarked still chuckling at her expressions
"You just like a kid, you know?"
"You too! Just a spoiled one", Kanishka remarked with a spark twinkling in her eyes pressing her lips together tight zipping a smile at Aman who played a smirk rolling his eyes and then changing the focus to the back camera pointed out his punching bag at one corner of his room saying
"You see that?"
"A punching bag in the bedroom?", Asked Kanishka surprised at Aman who undoes his camera back to his face saying
"That's ur answer to what I do staying back late at nights! And also how I deal with my anger issues, keeping myself calm"
"No wonder you are so cruel with those punches!", Kanishka huffed clearing the images of Harry's bleeding mouth appearing in her mind, looking at Aman staring him for a while who was just stood forcing her a smile, saying
"You know what Aman? You don't need those punching bags to deal with your anger issues!"
"You have a better solution?"
"No, but I have an advice!", replied Kanishka waiting for Aman's response creeping up his natural smirk on his face as he eyed her answering
"Do I have to say please now? Cuz you are gonna tell anyway, then doesn't matter if I say yes or no!! So why waiting, say it already!", Kanishka chuckled murmuring a "Right", under her breathe before sighing heavily, speaking with a small smile
"You need to find someone whom you love and trust unconditionally!", Said she gazing deep into his eyes who glanced at her small eyed, trying to understand what she means nodding and asking
"And?"
"And whenever you feel angry, you just have to close your eyes and think about that person. Think how disappointed he or she would be by this act of yours, how each hurt of yours would hurt him or her. When that fear of hurting your close loved ones makes place in your heart, you will have no place left to fear about you hurting yourself or anyone else. You won't be able to! And then you won't need this punching bag too!"
Ended she with a thin yet bright line of smile, being reflected even by her eyes, as she gazed at Aman who maintained the smile throughout she spoke, finally letting out a chuckle heaving a sigh gazing back at her saying
"You can be a motivational speaker, you realise?"
"Yeah I just realised!"
"You good at it!", Aman chuckled which was followed by her own, just when something struck her mind making him look at him for some moments thinking something to herself as he laughed, yawning dramatically saying
"Okay fine, I'm really sleepy now, hope you sleep early too, of course if you don't wanna lose your hair!", Said she with a straight face stretching her free hand wide keeping an eye on him waiting for his facial expressions to change anytime which happened no sooner as he asked with his eyes widened
"What do you mean lose my hair?"
"You don't know?"
"Is there something I should know?"
"Yupp! And that is, if you don't take proper sleep of around 7-8 hours, tendency of hairfall increases!"
"Really?", wondered Aman blinking rapidly in horror at Kanishka who nodded pursing her lips, having her other hand's fingers crossed behind her back as she added
"My dad's hair have you seen? It looks so natural right?", she asked with a sly smile dramatically gazing down making Aman's eyes go wider as he questioned back instantly
"It's wig?"
"No, hair transplantation! He got that done a year back. Even he used to stay awake late night working, because of which his hair started falling slowly, and one day everything fell", She blurted out making Aman flinch as he wondered what 'everything' meant, giving her a baflled look who quickly rephrased
"I mean to say is, each of his hair on his head fell!"
"Oh!", Aman wiggled his eyebrows clearing the wild thoughts off his mind, whilst Kanishka looked elsewhere squeezing her eyes tight
Sorry dad!! I know you gonna be very mad at me for lying about your dear hair! But you tell right? Lies which are told for a good cause, are not exactly lies! So, Forgive me please for this lie!
Kanishka pleaded mentally, before opening her eyes slowly looking at Aman who had his eyes wide open as he carressed his fingers over his hair making her bite her inner cheeks to control her laughter from escaping, telling after a moment of curbing her urge from falling out laughing at his turned blue of horror face
"Anyway, it's your hair, you know better how to take care of it! But I love my hair, so I'm going to sleep! Bye, Good night!", saying that she waited for some seconds to hear a 'good night' from him but getting none as he just forced a weak smile muttering a 'bye', she frowned shoting him a glare cutting the call, laughing her heart out next moment murmuring to herself
"Now let me see how you sleep late Aman Lohani!", smiling she touched his contact number which she had saved with the name "Attitude Lohani", she chuckled and was about to keep it inside her winter-hoodie pocket ready to leave, just when it buzzed with a message which was from none other than the 'Attitude Lohani' himself leaving a bright smile on her face as she read
"I didn't hurt my hand, because of you or anyone else, but solely because of my own anger! So you might wanna consider that and stop blaming yourself for it already!
And yes, Don't call me again!
Good night!"
"My Phone, My Wish! You can't tell me whom to call! But since now that you have my number you can surely not pick up!"
"My Phone, My Wish! You can't tell me whose call to pick up!!"
Came the quick response from Aman reading which she shook her head slinging the phone inside her pocket, walking out from balcony entering her room with a small yet content smile reciting over the final few lines of the poem to herself with one last line of her own
But the very moment one decides to stay by and not depart!
Magic happens, As it's never too late or early to start!
Not sure if I'm early or late, but one thing I'm sure is I'm staying by, irrespective of what the magic impart!

How was Kanishka's logic of making Aman agree to come to the trip?
And will Aman actually fall for Kanishka's trick, sleeping early fearing the loss of his hair?
Important News: I'm gonna start a new book, a book of poems, where I'll update randomly the poems I write! The one in this update, is one such example of the poems I write. If you wanna read, do check out my other book, which I will publish shortly!
Meet you all in the next update, till then
<Bye,Tc❤️>
