❝ It's everywhere and nowhere and waiting for it to explode like fireworks so it can shine but this magic will happen if one believes in theirselves because everything starts with trusting yourself no matter what ❞

YOUNGHOON CAN'T HELP the smile sprouting on his lips, growing every second blossoming into the second stage of a flower's growth, a beautiful seedling awaiting their nutrient(s).
In his case, it's his fiance, Hyunjae, signaling them off with a wave to leave them alone as they sit across each other at a table surrounded by the fragrance of flowers.
The florist doesn't mind the engaged couple seeing each other here.
He finds their presence comfortable and their interactions endearing, wishing he could experience mutual love.
He smiles adoringly watching them converse, cheeks round than ever, chocolate eyes sparkling, imagining himself with someone he made up, not really—the boy isn't a figment of his imagination.
It seems he is invisible in the auburn's deep eyes that are intimidating but the next minute they are laughing, glowing of sunlight.
He introduces himself by mentioning the solar energy ball that rises early morning.
"I actually asked for your presence today because I have to give you something." Hyunjae begins softly, hands clasped over another resting on his lap as a tight smile slips across his face, and Younghoon returns one subtly; rubbing the side of his neck a little stunned.
"Really? What is it?" He asks in a small voice.
Pulling a pillow out of the plastic bag, Hyunjae hands over the bts21 TATA plushie then settles back against the chair.
His heart rate quickens, shoulders tense, wondering if the gift's childish or otherwise, considering children adore plushies.
It shouldn't matter since no one is too young or too old for these, he thinks.
Hyunjae's shoulders relax and his heart pace steadies seeing Younghoon's dark eyes round, lips curling into the happiest smile taking over his face as he brings the plushie in his arms affectionately.
"Why did you want to give me this?"
"I discovered your temper sometimes isn't very nice, if you have this, you won't have to express your anger in front of others. It will keep you calm. I thought it would also cheer you up whenever you're down since you admire Kim Taehyung," Hyunjae explains.
"I don't have a bad temper. It was all a misunderstanding. You just passed by and saw me when I was angry. I'm really not that type of person—" Younghoon tells him. He does not want this image of him lingering, especially in front of his fiance.
"I'm not criticizing you. I'm asking for the entrance to your heart before it's my home and my heart is your home. Nothing more, nothing less. There were misunderstandings, feelings were hurt, and everything just seemed out of place, but that's in the past. I want to let the road ahead for all of us to be open, fresh, new, warm and welcoming. I want to care for you, Younghoon."
"You want to care for me?" Younghoon repeats, confirming everything Hyunjae just said if it really all is true. It's too good to be true.
He feels something bloom in his chest from the gentle nod and the contagious smile making it's way to his lips as well.
. . .
"Does anyone have the chorus part down yet? I'm having trouble understanding that part," Younghoon calls out, sighing, watching the choreograph they will perform on his phone, frowning.
Hyunjae sits down next to Younghoon, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder so the raven looks at him, giving him a reassuring smile.
" I'll be glad of assistance, but believe in yourself first, and erase that frown," he stands up then, offering him a hand.
Hyunjae pulls Younghoon up to his feet, elbowing him, chuckling, and a silly stupid grin extends over his lips from ear to ear, the sparkles in his eyes dancing, heart racing when he feels him get pulled, twirled around, and all at once time stops the moment he realizes how close they are against each other; his hand on his chest, the other's planted on his waist, the golden specks in Hyunaje's eyes making Younghoon look away.
Hyunjae also looks away as a blush creeps up his cheeks.
The morning at the hotel with Youngjae and returning back home all of a sudden, Changmin confessing his feelings to Hyunjae, realization hits him hard.
He will return back to his world when he says something shocking to Youngjae and he will look like a wolf if something goes wrong in the plot of his story.
Changmin thinks his world has turned upside down more than anything.
He needs to ignore his emotions, focus on the mission, nothing else.
"How come you're not practicing with your classmates?" Changmin says, leaning against the wall, watching Youngjae practicing with sheer concentration unknowingly blooms a proud smile over his face as he recalls good and bad memories during the first year of college.
He stops, catching his gaze.
"Am I really worse than Kim Younghoon? Is my life that miserable?" Youngjae knows it's a stupid question but how can he not ask this? He dreamed of miracles, happiness, and magic happening but he seemed to forget magic happens when hard work does not give up and has faith, only then, hard work pays off.
Youngjae thinks he is worse than Younghoon because of his past, haunting him till now and he can't do anything about it whenever his emotions flow out of control, he becomes a beast.
"Comparing yourself is a dangerous thing, did you know?"
Youngjae laughs.
Changmin glares at him and Youngjae laughing comes to an abrupt pause. The silence is comfortable yet a laugh rises in the brunette's throat, springing out.
They laugh together, unable to help but do so.
"I know it's sort of hard to believe but trust me when I say you don't have to surpass Kim Younghoon. Don't you want to succeed through your own hard work?" Changmin raises a brow and gives him a smile.
"I work really hard already. . . . "
"You know the story of Aladdin, right? Everyone calls him a street rat. Aladdin, however, knowing this, believes good things will come to him over time, and he makes his magic happen slowly by trusting himself. When Jasmine finds out the truth about him, he thinks the magic is over. After realizing honesty is important his magic reappears and his wishes, dreams, goals, all color into one, Jasmine."
"Are you implying, I'm a street rat, that I should make an extra effort to get Hyunjae, trust, and be honest to myself?" Youngjae laughs out loud, shooting Changmin a teasing smile.
"What? No, I never said that!" Changmin gasps dramatically, hiding the smile behind his hand. He mumbles mischievous under his breath and he can't hold the laughter bubbling pass his lips.
"You're right, we should preserve and believe in ourselves. Did you know, I like helping others since I was younger. It seems all my good luck ran out the night I was cursed. I've been participating in many competitions, studied hard for the nursing exam but the results were always the same. I got rejected every time. I think sometimes someone other than the old woman put a curse on me, ever since the three words Sohn Young Jae were created."
He turns around, finding Hyunjae and Younghoon dancing together, giggling and sharing euphoric smiles. Upon hearing this, Changmin raises his head, eyes training on Youngjae, guilt coursing through his veins.
DURING THE evening hours, he observes his temporary students dance on his phone back at the Sun family's castle in his bedroom, specifically keeping a keen eye on the blonde.
His movements swift and precise, the music moving with him. He doesn't fail to miss a beat, reminding the author how he created the wolf boy.
Changmin created Sohn Youngjae based off of him and the boy he had a crush on during middle school. He chuckles at the thought, memories of him dancing in the center of his classmates floating around his head.
The music would escape into him when he danced, thus his friends gave him the name kyu pronounced as cue; he's the center of attention and when the music starts, the music follows him while he dances.
Was he really wrong to create a character having difficulties drowning to the point he couldn't swim despite the fact he can swim? And he thinks he is wrong because the longer he watches him dance, his hearts swells.
Sohn Youngjae deserves a happy ending too.
. . .
"I've carefully examined the dance all of you've been practicing and recorded later for submission. I've selected four groups and pairs. I choose the ones I like. The grading will be determined by everyone scoring these choreographies together. You can began voting now!" Changmin announces, his gaze landing on Youngjae.
Both of them greet each other with gleeful smiles, their eyes not leaving each other's as the wolf boy walks around, voting for others.
Unbeknownst to him, he doesn't know the reason behind the dancer's grin stretching across his face making his ears perk up like a cat smirking.
Changmin whips his head over his shoulder, raising a brow as he spots a gingerbread head wearing a red uniform sitting at his chair, dozing off.
Who's this? He seems strange, I have never seen him before. . . .
"Now we will announce the groups! Which one do you like to see first?"
"The opposite to the one in first place!" One of the students declares with enthusiasm.
"Okay! This group received lower amount of works and it is . . . Younghoon and Kevin."
Murmers swim throughout the classroom, curious of why those dancers received the lowest amount of votes, and why would Younghoon receive the less votes?
"Younghoon, although you along with your group received the least amount of votes, this is one of the chroegraphies you will have learned in your life, and it doesn't mean you should stop dancing. What you must know is to believe in yourself first and then you will be able to work through anything, the same goes for you, Kevin. I've been watching you and you're sometimes stif, don't think, let it go, breathe, feel the music. As for the one on my right, this pair received the most votes, let's see who it is, Sohn Youngjae and Choi Chanhee! Please give them a round of applause!"
"How could it be Youngjae?" The students ask, doubtful, nevertheless, they give them a round of applause. Youngjae feels a smile carve on his face, exchanging ones with his dance partners.
Chanhee and Kevin embrace him, jumping up and down.
Younghoon starts making his way out of class, head down, lips pulled down in a frown, and looks up, meeting eyes with Kevin.
"Before you said I was dancing well. . . . "
Younghoon didn't expect to receive the least amount of votes and he thought he understood the part of the choreography he needed help on. Now that he thinks about it he wasn't exactly paying attention when Hyunjae assisted him.
"I said so yes but if you paid more attention to a specific part while you learned the choreography you would have received more votes. . . . " Kevin lets him know, hand on Younghoon's shoulder, throwing him an encouraging smile.
"Oh hey, Youngjae!" Kevin calls out, noticing his figure passing by. "Congratulations, you finally got first place! Younghoon may haven't done so well this time, however, it tells us working hard and believing in yourself, anyone can achieve many things even if it seems impossible."
"Are you really prasing me?" Youngjae snorts.
"Of course I am!" Kevin retorts, beaming at him. He steps back from the sudden figure near him, placing the white thermos on his hand.
"Kevin, you should go comfort Younghoon," Changmin reminds. Kevin nods, chuckling, almost forgetting about his friend's sudden crestfallen mood, he then runs away.
As he leaves, the dancer and wolf boy grin, relishing each other's presence, speaking through genial smiles and eyes filled with stardust no one can decipher but conclude the two are in love, however it is but the genuine friendship and affection they have for another slowly developing.
"Is my dance really that bad?" Younghoon asks in a rather depressing tone, using his arms as a headrest on the white desk, the sunlight seeping through the curtains catching the brown of both boy's eyes holding two different emotions and kiss their face in the dark of the nurse room.
Sunwoo isn't so sure how to answer this question. He's too blind for Younghoon's love.
He doesn't have the heart to tell him he's bad at something because he sees good in everything the taller male does, and to be honest, he has no slight clue about dancing. Sure, he used to dance as a kid but that went down the drain after getting into an accident.
He manages a sincere smile, corners of his eyes crinkling, cheeks rounding just a little, his voice soft and loving, "Younghoon, I'm sorry. . . I studied medicine and gave up on dancing long time ago, so I'm not very familiar with it," his smile fades at the heavy depressing sigh escaping his dear cousin's lips.
There's a knock at the door and Sunwoo looks up, furrowed brows, trying to make out the round cheeks, chocolate eyes matching his hair, lips curling from one end to another, head peeking, feet steeping inside when he lets him enter, allowing the nurse to take in the red uniform of their school, the boy's bubbly and cute look somehow irritating him.
Sunwoo can't look away and when the student apologizes, informing him for his reason of prescene, he just nods, suddenly curious of the boy the second he looks delighted noticing his cousin here.
"Classmate, which class are you from, and what's your name?"
"I transferred here a few days ago. I'm in the same class as Kim Younghoon," the said boy grins, "My name is Ju Haknyeon," to which Younghoon nods.
"Please wait a second," Sunwoo stands up, leaving his seat, and strolls towards the cabinet, pulling out the stomach medicine Haknyeon needs.
"Hey, Younghoon! Right before I transferred to Lunar College I heard about your fame. But I didn't have a chance to talk to you after transferring here for a few days. Can you teach me how to dance in the future?" Ju Haknyeon knows how to dance. He actually wants to learn new styles. He thought Younghoon's dancing wasn't that bad either.
Younghoon just needs a push and encouragement. He needs to believe in himself.
"I don't think you should ask from me," he laughs, "I performed the worst in class anyway," and with that he makes his exit.
Sunwoo hears the door get pulled open. "Younghoon—" before he could even call out, his attention diverts to his patient.
"Hey, Doctor Kim, you haven't given me my medication." Haknyeon says, holding out a hand, smiling an endearing smile.
