Mikuo's POV

I snuck down to the kitchen, again following Rin and waited for her to go back up to check on Kaiko.

How do I ask her if she has a twin?

(*Me just yelling at him that he literally hit her twin at the beginning of the story and he doesn't remember at all and him ignoring me like the ignorant prince he is*)

(*sigh* at least he's the main reason Len survives....)

I really should have thought of this before...

I turned it over in my head for maybe 35 minutes before she came out the kitchen, bumping into me again.

"Why are you... Stop waiting outside the kitchen!" She said as her face heated up.

She was so cute, it was unbelievable.

"Hey cutie, I just wanted to ask you a question" I said, rubbing the back of my neck nervously, trying to flirt as that was my immediate go-to when I felt uncomfortable.

"Okay, what's your question then, your majesty?"

"Okay, this might be a weird question, just trust me and please just answer and don't ask any questions, do you have a twin?"

"Oka- I don't understand really why this is important, but yes, I do have a twin"

"A boy?"

"Y-yeah... How did you-"

"No questions, and, what is his name?"

"Um... Len...."

Okay, Len could be short for Allen. I really hope she was the lost princess. Maybe her kingdom wasn't as wealthy as Kaiko's, but I was sure my father would allow it. Even if he didn't I would marry her.

"Okay, thank you hon! I'll try to explain this to you soon" I said, planting a quick kiss on her lips and she blushed and glared at me.

I pretended not to notice and ran to Starlight, ditching Kaiko again. I spurred her on to a nearby kingdom, the one with the missing prince and princess.

I hopped off Starlight and ran inside.

I asked a guard if king Arthur would be available and it was urgent. The guard pointed me in the direction of the throne room and I hurried in and bowed before the king.

"Prince Mikuo, what brings you here?"

"I believe I may have news of your children, your majesty"

King Arthur stood quickly.

"What news? Are they alive?

"Yes, your majesty, at least, I know your daughter is"

"What do you know? What makes you think you have found my children?"

"They are 14, blonde, your missing children are named Riliane and Allen, correct?" The king nodded and I continued. "They are named Rin and Len, and to be honest sir, Rin looks a lot like you. I haven't seen Len I don't think, but I know Rin looks like you"

"How did you come to find Rin?"

"She's a servant at my, finance's..." I said that word with loathing, I hated calling her that. "castle, and I happened to notice her"

The king and I talked awhile longer and we decided I would bring Rin over, and try to find Len.

I would bring breaking up with Kaiko up with my dad tonight and hope for the best.

I left right before dinner and rode home. I was not looking forward to the talk with my dad...
