"But not when you came with friends, what do you say Rami?" I said hoping to help her, and get to know her as well.

"Yeah. Then Rami take this blue record and note down all these bills no and the details mentioned in them. There are three more records, I already wrote the headings, you have to go through this notebook, I have written everything in order. Decide which thing you like to do." she said eyeing me and Surya and continued, " Thank you friends for helping me, now I'm going to rest. Goodnight."

She left. Just like that.

Surya and Rami looked at me with frawn.

"I'm not actually intending to write all these. I don't even like writing records in our UG." I blurted out.

The two others sighed.

We started sorting out her works and somehow completed by midnight. It might have took us a lot time if not for the clear pre-work of Anu. But why she's doing all this work? I asked Rami the same.

"She's one of the representative of the organization. For every camp, three members from the camp should come to keep their protocol in work and should see the camp is serving the motto."

"But how came she's working with this organization, she doesn't even speak to strangers. Always moody." Surya opened his mouth to our surprise.

Rami and I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"I know her...from school days. We both... went to same school." he said as its a matter of fact. Then why are they not talking to each other?
"I also went to the same school." I stated.

Surya shifted in his seat showing his uncomfortableness. I don't like to keep him in tight spot.

"I might have noticed her. As we can see here, how she's so quite. But Rami how do you know her? How come you are best friends with your polar opposite?" I laughed at her.

She throwed the penstand near to her at me.

"You know what? We are not friends first. I actually didn't like her. She seemed to be pathetic.

We both have to stay in a room in a paying guest type of hostel, in Vizag. I had to stay there for a month for a training program. She was also at the same time for some medical thing... I mean it's something personal so I can't tell you about it.

So there we find each other. You know how talkative I'm and she, she took 10 days to tell me to shut up my mouth. I acted hurt and she gave all her chocolates to me. That's it she became my friend. From that day to today, we never fought. Though we shared a short stay, we were in contact with each other later. Then I got job and shifted to Vijayawada an year back. She also resides there. We will meet once a month at least without fail. Of all the friends of mine, she's a gem and a keeper. I can be carefree, I can be myself around her. She never judged me. Dudes, if you both, for my sake, behave good and made friends with her, we will become a hella gang. What do you say? "

"Why not. We will try... "
"I don't think it will work out..."

Arjun and Surya said at the same time time, respectively.

Rami looked at Arjun and Surya and Arjun and Surya and sighed tiredly.

"It's OK guys. I can understand."
She said with frawn layering on her forehead.

She switched on the screen of her mobile and checked the time .

It's past midnight. She moved her eyes to the brothers,

"It's too late we should head to our rooms. Bye goodnight."

Arjun and Surya also prepared to leave after the awkward moment.

After they went to their room, Surya hit the bed silently. Arjun was still in his thoughts about what Rami had said.

He took his mobile from the night stand and typed a message and tapped sent.

"Shall we go jogging tomorrow?"

In less than a minute, he got reply.

"Sure, tell me the time."

He took a peek on his watch. It's 1AM. He said to himself, it doesn't matter.

"6 ' O clock. Okay? " he decided.

His mobile pinged.

"Okay. See you tomorrow."

He had no proper sleep may be because of new place, he thought. But it's not completely true. He couldn't keep himself from thinking about Anu. He's afraid that he might have developed a crush on her. But he doesn't know that she is forbidden.

The arrival of morning was announced by the chirping of birds and departure of darkness.

The alarm of Arjun's phone is blaring, disturbing Arjun who slept a couple of hours ago. Surya stirred in his sleep and patted Arjun to shut the alarm. Arjun find it very difficult to wake up, still he got up from the bed and did his morning chores in his awake state. He changed into his tracks and sweats.

The ringtone of his phone, made him hurried. He checked to find Rami calling.

He answered and asked to wait outside the building they are staying. It's 6:45 AM.

Surya was heavy sleeper and not going to wake up anytime soon. So without creating noise, he went outside.

Rami is already waiting outside in her funny jogging ware. They started off immediately. They talked random things for a while. They planned not to go too far since the place new to them. Arjun was finding a way to talk about Anu. Rami sensed that something is going in Arjun mind.

"Hello dude! Come back from your La La Land. I'm feeling boring."

"Ohh I'm sorry. I'm a little distracted." he gave a tiny smile to her.

"About what." she slowed her pace.

"Last night, you said Anu has a medical thing. What's that?" Arjun enquired, contemplating whether he asked right thing or not.

She looked at me with a raised eyebrow as I was a serious stalker.

I tried to convince her,

"It is just out of curiosity. To get to know her better. You know. We are a gang right?! So."

Rami stopped running this time and faced him,

"I like that you are working on our friendship. This gang thing. I know your intentions are good. But I am not in the place to tell you somethings about her. She won't like it. My mouth is zipped in this matter. She's... She's a weird person. A good but weird person. That's all I can tell you."

"Why? What happened to her?" he didn't want to give up.

"May be because of her past friendships and relationships."

She didn't want to say much but she give away because of the probing from Arjun.

By the time the topic was ended, they are near to their stay.

Both returned to their rooms without saying anything.

Rami, for saying what she said.
Arjun, thinking what she said.
