Lando

I open my eyes and the first thing I think of is Roxanne. How on earth can I get her back? Quietly I get up and walk over to my clothes, which are on the floor. I pick up my pants from the floor and pull them on. "Good morning Lan, are you coming down?" asks Max who suddenly stands in the doorway. He startles me and I watch as Max walks up to me, then puts a hand on my shoulder. This calms me down and I look at Max straight in his eyes. "Are you still thinking about Roxanne?" asks Max through. I nod, even though I didn't quite understand him. 'What would you rather do, stay here and eat? Or do you want to look for Roxanne and not eat anything?' 'I want to look for her!' I immediately answer his question and pick up my t-shirt, then I still grab my phone from my nightstand and put it in my pocket. 'Max, I'm going to look for her!' I say and want to walk out of the room. 'Owh, Lando? You want to look for Pierre too?" he asks and immediately I nod.

I walk out of the hotel room and step into the hallway of the hotel. Quickly I walk to the elevator, where I run into Lewis along with Valteri. Since yesterday Lewis has been acting weird. I don't know what's got into him! 'Heyy,' I greet them. They immediately look up and greet me back the same way. Then I step into the elevator and press garage, and the doors close. From my other pocket, where my phone is not in it, I pull out my car key and the elevator doors open again, after which I quickly get out. I walk hastily to my car and take my phone out of my pocket as well. Then I open my car, after which I open the door and get in. Immediately I close the door and start the engine, which immediately starts running. I put the car in reverse and carefully drive out of the parking space, then I leave the parking garage. Just when I have to wait at a red traffic light I get a call and I tap record.

"This is Lando Norris!" I say.

'Lando, please come to me! I need you!" screams Pierre's voice through the phone.

'Where are you now?' I shout questioningly through the phone.

'I'm sharing my location with you!" he shouts through the phone and hangs up. I see that the traffic light is green, so I pull up and drive through a green light. Then I hear my phone ping. I immediately stop on the side of the road, by a bus shelter and look. He's somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Strange! Why would he be all the way over there?

I decide to drive on and check that there is no traffic coming from behind. Then I drive away from the bus shelter.

When I've been driving for about an hour, it starts to get busier and busier. I tense up behind the wheel. It suddenly gets so busy that I can't concentrate on the road and my mind continually wanders to Roxanne. Because I am distracted, I don't realize that a car is approaching from behind. I am suddenly startled by a loud bang and lose control of the wheel. Quickly I hit the brakes, but I hit my head against the steering wheel. The seat belt I'm wearing cuts into my neck. Why didn't the airback go off? I still try to stay conscious, but I can't work against consciousness and lose consciousness. A long beep follows in my ears, then I can't hear it as I fall away.
