It is now a week later and Pierre still does not know that Lando and I are in touch. By now Lando has recovered from his injuries. I am now sitting at home in my apartment and have told my story to everyone who wanted to know. Everyone feels sorry for me. Right now I'm sitting on the couch with a plate of fries and two frikandells. I'm enjoying them deliciously.

Bzzz!

I look at my phone and see that Max is texting me. "Watch out!" he writes, but why. Suddenly I hear the bell ring and I get up, then put the plate on the table. I walk toward the door and open it. Before I can even see who it is, a loud bang sounds. At a rapid pace I see black spots before my eyes and not much later I hear people screaming. I am still trying to stay conscious and feel shots in my chest. No, I am going to die! Then everything goes black before my eyes and I fall away....

Lando

'Lando, wake up!" suddenly I hear Max shout. I shoot awake screaming and see a restless Max in front of my bed. 'What is it?" I ask him. 'Get out of your nest and come with me!" he screams and I reluctantly get out of my bed. 'What's the matter, what's making him so restless?

'Look, over there! There are all kinds of police in Roxanne's room,' Max yells as I walk into the living room. Immediately I look at the apartment where Roxanne lives and my eyes get big. I turn around quickly and put on some clothes, then leave the hotel room and make my way down the stairs. What has happened to Roxanne?

Lando! Something bad happened at Roxanne's!" shouts Pierre who is on his way upstairs.

'What then? Tell me what happened!" I yell at him and grab him tightly, then shake him back and forth.

'I saw Roxanne open the door and then get shot right away,' Pierre says softly and I immediately notice that he has something to do with it.

'F*ck you!" I yell at him and immediately call the police. When I have done so I see that Pierre has smeared him and I decide to look for him immediately. Deep inside me I am told that Pierre needs to be arrested! While my head says, I shouldn't do that. I decide to listen to my gut and run back up the stairs. Soon I find him on my way back upstairs. I grab his foot, causing him to go down on his sniffle.

'Damn Lando, let me go!" he curses harshly at me.

'No, you're a murderer. You took Roxanne from her life and from me. Bastard!" I yell at him and suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up and see a whole team of police officers. 'Leave him to us,' the officer says and I let go of Pierre's foot. He wants to get up immediately, but immediately the officers overpower him.

A few months later...

Roxanne was a courageous girl. She had a heart of gold, even though I had only known her for a day. Roxanne was my girl, my future wife who I would have loved to live on with. But that dream was destroyed by a bastard of a Pierre Gasly! Because of him I lost my girl. May everyone and the whole world know that I am not alone anymore. I am owned by someone, who was there. Who loved me. Rest easy princess of mine!" I end my speech and walk down the bleachers crying.

Everyone starts clapping, while most people start crying too. I walk over to Daniel and Max, who immediately pull me into a hug. How can I race tomorrow when I'm so sad about Roxanne?

'Lando, know that I am always with you and I believe in you. I promise you, tomorrow you will not be sad and you will just race. You are my hero, you conquered my heart. My soul lives on in your heart," I hear Roxanne's voice whisper. I know the she is not there and I hug the boys more tightly. Then I feel a kiss on my head. Then I look up and feel a soft warm breeze pass by me. Was Roxanne's spirit still here? Believe in yourself and in us! For we together are inseparable.'

'Come on, we'll go back to the hotel,' Daniel says and we walk the whole group down the burial ground. The voice I had heard is right, I must continue to believe in Roxanne. Roxanne lives on in me, I can feel it!
