  The day before the world... became what it did, her brother went on a trip with a few of his friends. She doesn't know where they went specifically, but she hasn't seen him since. Her parents always loved him more, they made it obvious. They didn't want Eden to be so girly. They didn't even understand why she wanted to wear skirts or high-heeled shoes.
  "But why wouldn't they?" (Y/n) moves closer to Eden, until their arms are touching. "That's what most girls like. I'm jus-"
  "Because... my sex is male," Eden turns her head and stares at (Y/n), looking at her face to see her reaction. "But I was always attracted to girly things and I even thought constantly that I'd fit in more if I were a girl. Little did I know... my parents... they're stuck in their old ways. But I had my brother, he was always there for me."
  Turns out, before the whole world crashed, all Eden had to believe in her was her older brother. He'd sit down with her, pull her close to his side and ruffle her hair when she cried. He'd tell her that she could do anything she wanted, despite everyone else telling her that she'd never amount to anything. He'd talk to the people who made fun of her, and of that didn't work, he'd go to their parents and if that didn't work... he'd get the permission of their parents and beat them up.
As Eden tells (Y/n) about her brother, she notices how her blue eyes light up and there's a small smile on the corner of her lips. It's nice to see that she's had such a nice relationship with her brother. But it doesn't last long and the smile on the white-haired girl's face falls.
  "I'd give anything to tell him I'm sorry," she buries her head into her knees.
  (Y/n) doesn't really know what to say. She's never had a sibling. Her parents love and support her and she's sure they would no matter what she decided, "I heard... that Izo found you in a panic room? How'd you get there?"
  "My parents..." she lifts her head and looks at the (h/c)-haired woman again, tears running down her face.
  Her parents. Right. They wanted to go look for her brother, but thought that all she'd do is drag them down. So they put her somewhere they thought she'd be safe. All alone. Though, it was just an excuse. They didn't really want to deal with Eden.
  But when Izo found her, she'd felt like she was given the chance to be the person she's always wanted to be. She told Izo about her feelings, and since he's the same way, he decided to give her what she wanted. And keep it a secret, though nobody would make fun of Eden here.
  Now, Eden is here. Feeling alone and abandoned. And guilty. And useless. And somehow, someway, she's still ashamed. Even if she's doing what she loves, she can still feel the looks her parents gave her. She can still hear... all of the words people said to and about her. And she feels ashamed.
  "I'm scared, that if I tell people, they'll think differently of me," she looks up at the ceiling. "I feel like I'm not doing enough. I feel... selfish. That if I weren't so absorbed in doing what I want... then my family would still be here. We would all be together."
  "But your brother left for a trip with friends," (Y/n) stares at the smaller female, observing her with worry. "Why do you feel like it's your fault he's not here? And don't blame yourself for your parents. If they can't accept you for who you are... then you don't even need them. Surround yourself with those who love you regardless of who you were in the past."
  "If only it were that easy," she shakes her head. "And... about my brother... I feel... like he needed a break. Mom and dad were on his case because he was too busy focusing on me to be doing what he wanted or what they wanted him to do. So he took a trip to get away... and now... I don't know what's happening with him... and I'm scared... anyway. Thank you for checking on me... and listening. Enjoy training without me. I'll join tomorrow."
