"Come on!" (Y/n) yells as Eden brings back her arm to reposition it. "Hit harder! You're throwing punches like a girl!"
"Well... I mean," Eden drops her stance and stares at the taller female, her eyes for some reason drooping with sadness. "That's what I am, right?"
"You just don't understand, do you, Eden?" (Y/n) rolls her eyes, sticking her foot out and kicking the back of Eden's knee, causing her to fall down. The smaller female looks up at her as she stands over her, the look in her eyes now a bit fearful, until (Y/n) hold out her hand to help her up, "There are no genders when your fighting. All you need to see is that they're coming for you, and you need to defend yourself."
"Oh, I think we just walked into a cat fight," a voice causes both of the females to turn and face the door, Ace and Kid are standing bedside each other a few feet away. "Are you kittens okay?"
"Kid, I swear, if you call me a cat again, I'll break all of your fingers," the (h/c)-haired woman spins back around, holding up the protective pads and nodding at the smaller female. "Let's continue."
"What's so wrong with being called a cat?" Kid walks behind (Y/n) before putting his arm around her neck. "They're cute."
"So... you're calling us cute?" she folds her arms, trying to hide the fact that she's embarrassed. "I think the world is ending."
"It already did, if you don't remember," Kid smiles, and it scares Eden. It looks like a bit demented. "And who said I meant both of you? Only one of you is cute... the other one is debatable."
(Y/n) grabs his arm, and before he even has time to register, she throws him on the ground in front of her. He places his hands on the floor and lets out a laugh, causing the woman to raise her eyebrow slightly, "What's so funny?"
"The fact that you got so offended! You're so self-conscious that you automatically assumed that I was talking about the other girl being the cute one!" his laugh slowly dies down, before he stands up and faces her. "Before you throw me next time though, you might want to take into account that, the cute one's aren't really my type, anyway."
"Why would I care about what your type is?!" she huffs out, crossing her arms again. "A-anyway... I think that sums up my lesson for you today, Eden."
"O-okay," the girl reaches up and scratches the back of her head. "M-may I ask you guys a bit of a personal question?"
"Uhm, sure, anything," (Y/n) smiles, taking off the velcro on the protective pads. "I have no secrets."
"How long have you been dating?" Eden smiles slightly, not noticing the increased heart rate that the question caused to the unsuspecting (Y/n).
"W-we aren't!" (Y/n) blurts as Kid starts dying of laughter again. "We just met like... a few... weeks? Months? I don't know, but he's practically a stranger!"
"Really?" Eden's face falls. "That's strange, you seem like such good friends... I-I thought... that's strange... I'm usually never that wrong..."
"Sorry to disappoint," Kid wipes away an imaginary tear as he collects himself. "Anyway... I only wanted to tell you, (Y/n), that we'll be staying here for a few weeks. Don't get too attached, or excited, we just need to stock up again."
"Alright," she rolls her eyes before stifling another yawn. "Well, I guess, Ace, you can take the reigns again..."
"Nah, I think I'll let you go to sleep, looks like you'll need it," Ace smiles, placing a hand in the back of Eden. "Can't you take her back to the dorm?"
The white-haired woman nods, happy to get out of the awkward and tense atmosphere, "Let's go. It was nice meeting you."
