Koori's pov.

It's been two weeks since I got here. It was pretty great and the missions were easy. I went on missions together with Team Natsu. But now, I would like to take a solo job. The normal jobs were easy so I sneaked into the S-class mission room. I quickly grabbed a flyer and headed home to pack my things.

"Koori? You're back!" Lucy said while sitting on the couch reading Sorcerer Weekly.

"Yes, Lucy. I came to pack my things. I'm going on a solo mission." I said while going into my room.

"Will you be okay?" Lucy asked worried.

"Yes. I wanted to try. I'm going now. Bye!" I said and took my backpack. I waved her good bye and headed to Magnolia station.

Lucy's pov.

Koori. She went alone on a mission. I'm sure she'll be able to handle it herself but I'm worried. I think I should tell Natsu and the others about this. I went to the guild.

"Erza, Koori went on a mission herself." I said and sat at our usual spot.

"Really?" She paused. "Wait. I've never seen her fight before. She was always staying as backup. I think we should go check her. Do you know where she's going?"

"I think it's in Flora town to protect the city from monsters."

"That's an S-class mission. I saw that on the board yesterday. It's dangerous. We must go. Natsu, Gray, Happy. We have to go." Erza said and we ran to the station.

We finally got to Flora town. We went straight to the mayor's house and asked about Koori. He told us where she went and we went there as quickly as we can. We saw her and hid behind a tree.

Koori's pov.

I was waiting for the monsters to come. The mayor told me it was this place. Then, I heard roaring.

"Oooh. What's a beautiful lady doing here?" One of the monsters asked. 'Sounds like a pervert.'

"She must be delicious. Let's eat her." Another one said.

"She looks weak." The other one said and smirked.

"This 'weak' girl is about to kick your asses." I smirked. The first monster charged at me and I simply dodged to the right. Then, the second monster charged with its claws and I flipped backwards. I pulled out my zanpakuto and cut one of his arms.

"You little. We're gonna kill you!" He yelled and three of them charged at the same time. Then, at least ten more of them came. The first three of them charged at me at the same time. I managed to dodge the first two but the third one managed to scratch my shoulder. But it didn't even leave a scratch due to my hierro. It wasn't as tough as Nnoitra but I can still withstand this. All of them surrounded me. I have no way to escape. 'I can't win them without using sonido and maybe cero. Thankfully, there's no one here. I'll use my powers then.'

They charged at me at the same time and I flash stepped onto one of their heads. I pointed my finger at one of them and fired a cero. I jumped further and stood in the air. I raised my spiritual pressure and I'm sure they will be suffocating. Tch, weaklings. That wasn't even one-fourth of my power. I fired bala's at them and they all collapsed dead. I jumped onto the ground and stood there.

Erza's pov.

We watched Koori fight. Oh no. She's gonna die. The monsters keep coming. I saw the three of them charged at her at the same time and she dodged the first two but not the third one. She got scratched on her shoulder. Then, she disappeared. As soon as she disappeared from the ground, she appeared on a monster's head. Then, she flew into the air and stood there as if it was the ground. Then, I saw white light emiting from her body. No way. Then, she fired a green laser beam and some light bullets? What is her magic? It felt so suffocating. The monsters fell dead. I saw her landing on the ground. We walked towards her. She looked shocked.

"What is your magic? Who exactly are you?" I asked in a demanding tone. She looked at the ground with a sad face.

"I knew I'll have to tell it sooner or later. Actually, I'm not a human."

"What do you mean?"

"I am an arrancar. An espada to be exact."

"What are arrancar and espada?" Gray asked.

"I'll explain everything at Lucy's house." I said and we went to the station.

Koori's pov.

"Can you explain now?" Erza said and sat on the couch.

"Yes. It's a bit complicated but I'll explain it. Well, when humans die, their souls pass on to the Soul Society where the souls live until they reincarnate as humans. There are some souls which does not pass on to the Soul Society. Some of them become hollows. Hollows eat other souls and some even kill humans to devour their souls. There are many stages. I'll just skip to the arrancars. Arrancars are also hollows but they have human figures. They obtain the power from Hogyoku. It is a crystal which have powers. I don't know what kind of power it has. I was going around the human world searching for souls and then a soul reaper came and took me to Las Noches, the home for arrancars. He gave me the power and I became one of them. Then, I found my long lost brother there. I was a human hundreds of years ago and all I remember is my name and my brother. Espada's are the ten strongest arrancars. The espada's strength depends on the numbers and primera(1st) espada is the strongest of all." I explained.

"What number are you?" Gray asked.

"Cuatro(4)," I said and they went wide-eyed.

"You're strong. Fight me." Natsu said with his hand engulfed in fire. Erza smacked his head and said, "Do you have a death wish? Koori, I saw you flying and firing some green laser beams."

"Oh. I can't fly. It's called standing in the air. There are spiritual particles in the air and I collected them to stand. And the laser beams are called cero's. It is concentrated spiritual energy. And the next is bala. It is not as strong as cero but you can fire many at a time. I can fire 1000 bala's per second." They looked feared. That's what I was expecting but I really don't like that. If I tell them that wasn't even one-fourth of my power, how will they react? Will they kick me out of the guild? Or the worst kill me? That's okay since they gave me too much of their hearts. They taught me how to love and that was enough for me. I was a heartless killing machine back then. Now, I fight for the sake of my friends. That's good enough.

"You can also teleport." Lucy asked.

I chuckled, "That's called sonido or flash step. It's like moving at a very high speed that normal eyes can't follow. And my zanpakuto also has powers but I haven't shown you yet. I'll just show you the other time. It's quite destructive and I don't want to ruin Lucy's house. Every arrancar has a zanpakuto. It is like their souls. And you see the broken mask on my head. Actually, in order to become an arrancar, we have to break our masks. And it's the part I left. If I lose the whole mask, I can die so I have to be very careful. And the hollows have their hollow hole on their body. I have it on my left collarbone. I don't know why but it somehow disappeared since I got here. And the four tattoo on my stomach proves that I am the cuatro espada. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. I know this would happen one day. It's okay if you kick me out of the guild or kill me. I won't resist." I said while staring the ground tears threatening to fall.

"You're so cool!" Natsu cheered breaking the silence. "Huh?" I looked at him.

"What didn't you tell us sooner? It would be so great." Gray said and put his hand on my shoulder. Erza and Lucy smiled.

"Really? You're not afraid of me? I'm a monster. I can kill people in a blink of an eye."

"If you really have the intention to kill us, we would have been dead by now. And the look in your eyes told us that you are a kind and caring person. Plus, even if you are a monster, if you don't act like a monster, then you aren't. And you act nothing like a monster. You use your powers to protect the people and the ones you love. And that's enough to prove that you are a good person." Lucy said and hugged me. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I cried and Natsu, Erza and Gray joined the hug. Happy landed on my head.

"Koori is a good person. She even gave me fish the other day, remember?" Happy said and I couldn't help but smiled.

"Thank you. Thank you so much. I promise I will protect the guild with all I have even if I have to risk my life." I said and broke the group hug. We all laughed and enjoyed our day.
