Louis skipped down the stairs and jumped off the last two, wobbling a bit when he landed on his feet. He finally found something to wear. The only thing that was stopping him was Harry's disapproving look when the blue eyed boy tried to open the door without shoes on.
"Louis, I'm not having this discussion again. You need to wear shoes." Harry sighed.
"But, Hazza! I feel so much more free when I don't have to wear them and I promise I won't step into some glass lying around like last time at Niall's."
Harry crossed his arms over his chest, "We're not leaving until you decide to stop acting like a kid. You need shoes, babe. I can't risk having you hurt again."
Louis pouted, but he quickly gave in when Harry leaned down and kissed him. It was the first time Louis willingly lost an argument, but how could he not when he was up against Harry fucking Styles?
After a few moments Louis hopped into Harry's truck. True, he had to jump a bit before he could get in, but if anyone would ask Louis would definitely deny it. The drive towards Harry's house was filled with playful banter and very loud and off tune singing. Kiss Me was on the radio and the two boys couldn't help but sing their hearts out.
The truck finally stopped and Louis couldn't stop shaking. What if Harry's parents hated him and then they wouldn't be allowed to date? What if Gemma despised how he looked? Would she do anything she can to split them up?
Doubts filled Louis' mind and he began to convince himself that all the hurtful whispers he picked up when he eavesdropped were true. He wasn't good enough for Harry. Louis should just run off and live secluded under a bridge somewhere. If he started running now, he could make it.
"Lou, are you okay love?" Harry opened the passenger door and rested a hand on one of his boyfriend's thighs, "We can stay here for a few minutes until you calm down if you want. I can just tell 'me I tripped again and you had to safe me."
Harry looked at the small boy before him and his heart was on the brink of exploding out of love and fondness. No human could be as beautiful as Louis Tomlinson. The deep blue eyes that were usually full of laughter and mischief were now drowning in worry. A few tears were forming in the corner of those beautiful eyes and Harry did the only thing he could think of; he pulled Louis into a hug and held him close.
"Don't worry. They'll love you," he whispered into his boyfriend's ear, "And even if they somehow don't like you -which is impossible-, I'll just move in with you and your family. Their opinion means nothing, Louis. No one's opinion matter except ours. It's our life and our love story. We don't need anyone's permission to follow our hearts, Lou."
Louis chuckled. God, he was dating such a sap, "They're your parents, H. I want them to like me."
"And they will once they see how happy you make me." Harry beamed at Louis and the latter slowly returned it with a smile of his own, "Let's go inside. I'm sure they're already dying to meet you."
Harry lifted Louis out of his seat and carried the struggling boy towards the door. A few seconds after Harry had let louis down and the boys feet had touched the ground, the door swung open.
"You're late," A female said and Louis' body stiffened. He looked up into the eyes of who was unmistakably Gemma, Harry's sister.
Harry's words ringed in his ears and Louis straightened his back. Harry had been so sure that his family would accept them if Louis only acted like himself, so he would give them exactly that. Louis smiled, "Im not late, everyone else is simply early."
Gemma's mouth opened a bit in amazement, but she quickly regained herself, a wide smile replacing her previous expression, "I like him already. Come inside!"

Piles of clothing were laying around on the floor. The hints of light that came through the curtains were barely enough to see, but Zayn hated having too much light in his room. Especially when he had just woken up.
The sound of the doorbell ringing interrupted the silence and Zayn groaned. It couldn't be Louis or Harry and Niall was probably still sleeping... Zayn envied that little blonde leprechaun. The doorbell rung again and Zayn went downstairs after cursing at the unknown person for a bit. He really wanted to start yelling, but when he finally opened the door, he couldn't find the energy to actually go through with his plan.
"Liam?"
"Hi." Liam just stood there, looking a bit embarrassed but he couldn't wipe the smile off his face, "need some help packing?"
"Yeah... sure... thanks." Zayn grinned and took a step back so Liam could enter and closed the door behind the brunette, "Do you want some tea? Something to eat?"
"No, thanks. Let's pack first and we can relax later."
The two of them went to Zayn's room and Liam almost got a heart attack when he flipped the light switch on. After a bit of scolding, they both started to sort the clothes, put some back into the closet and some inside of Zayn's bag. An hour passed by and they were finally done, Liam smiling at the other boy with pride and a hint of fondness.
"FIFA?"
"Do you have to ask?" Liam laughed. He hadn't been able to sleep well after their little get together, but he would never admit that it was because of a certain boy that was now two meters away from him.
After two matches -that Zayn won, but absolutely not because the other let him win- Liam couldn't keep his mouth shut anymore. He really didn't want Zayn to go, but he knew he couldn't ask his friend to not visit his family.
"You're staying home for a week, right?" Zayn nodded, "Well, have a fun ride back." Liam smiled, biting back the words he really wanted to say.
"I'll try, but I'll miss you too much Liam"

Harry couldn't take it anymore. The whole 'family meeting boyfriend' thing hadn't gone as he had planned at all and Harry didn't know if it was better that way or worse. Maybe it wasn't too late to sneak Louis out through the back? Would anyone notice when they disappeared? Harry looked back over his shoulder and sighed when he saw his boyfriend laughing loudly at something Gemma said. Nope, Harry just couldn't take it.
"You do realize he's my boyfriend, right?" Harry folded his arms across his chest and huffed.
"Aw, look Lou! Is my baby brother jealous!" Gemma taunted, "I told you he'd pout if we ignore him for too long." She winked at Louis and Louis started giggling for the umpteenth time that evening.
"You're flirting with my boyfriend! Of course I'm jealous." He mumbled the last part, but seeing as Louis quietened down it wasn't as silent as Harry had expected it to be. Without thinking, Louis stood up and hurried over to Harry's side to hug him -which obviously resulted to a fake gagging Gemma and a cooing pair of parents-.
"Don't worry, your sister will never get a piece of me." The blue eyed boy whispered.
"Good, 'cause I'm not used to sharing. Especially not someone I took a liking to."
Louis snuggled closer to Harry, but he let out a faint screech when the younger boy lifted him up in bridal style and carried him to the couch.
"Look at how cute they are," Anne said to her husband who could only nod in agreement with his wife. From the moment Louis had stepped inside, they had loved the small, sassy brunette. Of course, a big part of the reason was because Louis made their son happy. But even if the two had only been friends, Anne was sure they had accepted Louis with open arms. The boy was just so likable.
"Don't you mean gross? I can see hearts in their eyes. Ew." Gemma laughed, but when Harry kissed Louis right at the moment she looked at the two, she rolled her eyes and started fake gagging again.
While the Styles were all happy Louis stayed for dinner, the blue eyed boy was just happy they all had accepted him. It wasn't what Louis had planned after he left his previous school and he knew that somehow karma would catch up to him, but if a particular curly haired boy stood besides him, Louis knew he'd get through it.
