Aerlinniel POV

It has been a few long years since Legolas had found me and I came to the Woodland-Realm. So much has happened both good and bad.

I found my sister, whom I thought was dead. But then I left because I though that the reason everything bad that was happening there, was my fault. And I still do believe it was my fault. Then Elarinya got Kidnapped, but I ended up saving her. She's safe now.

I met a new friend, named Faelwen, to whom I told my secret to. She means so much to me. But her father forced her to go to Rivendell and I tried to find her. Without any luck, of course.

Then I got kidnapped and there was a war. I had died saving my sister, but I was brought back to life. I found out that Faelwen was rescued and I am so happy to have my friend back. She is safe now too.

I fell in love with Legolas, he has such a kind heart and he is an amazing warrior. But, ever since the war was over and I was brought back to life, Legolas has been distant from me. I do not know what's wrong, I hope he will be alright.

Gandalf is now having me come on some sort of quest with him. The dwarves need my help, although I am not sure with what.

Gandalf and I have been riding for a few days now. I'm riding my horse that I named after my sister. I hope that she and Faelwen are alright.

We are almost out of Mirkwood, when I hear a noise. I can tell that Gandalf has heard it too when he stops his horse. I stop too. I hear someone's heartbeat. Its not someone I know.

Gandalf gets off of his horse and says, "Who are you?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm heading to Rivendell." An elleth says. I wonder where she came from.

"It's alright. Would you like to come with us, we are heading that way." Gandalf offers her.

"I don't know. But maybe. I wouldn't mind the company." She stops for a minute to think. "You know what, I will come with you." She says, still a bit cautious.

"You can ride with me if you want." I offer and hold out my hand.

She grabs my hand and I help pull her up. Gandalf gets back on his horse and we take off again. No one says anything and I decide to find out more about this elleth.

"Pedil Eldarin? (Do you speak Elvish?)" I ask her.

"Istan quet' Eldarin. (I can speak Elvish)" She answers me.

"Man esselya ná? (What is your name?)"

"Caunedhiel."

"Nányë Aerlinniel. (I am Aerlinniel) Mae govannen. (Well met/Nice to meet you)" I say to her.
