Legolas POV

The war is now over and I am in a panic. I run to the throne room as fast as I can. I need to see Aerlinniel. I need to know that she is alright. I push open the doors and see a group of people huddled around something.

I push through them to see Aerlinniel, laying lifeless on a table. Her skin looks so pale. Her eyes are closed and she is unmoving. I walk up to her and put my hand over her mouth, no warm breath escapes her lips. I then put my ear up to where her heart is. It is silent.

No, this can't be true, I must be dreaming. I feel tears build up, and I let them fall. I don't care anymore. Nothing matters anymore, because she is gone.

Aerlinniel is dead.

Everyone has now left, it's just me sitting in front of Aerlinniel's lifeless body.  I hear footsteps behind me, and someone sets their hand on my shoulder. I know who it is, so I don't bother turning around.

"Legolas." My Ada says. "I know this hard on you, her death is hard on all of us. But, I need you to leave for a little while. Go for a walk with Tauriel. You can't stay here and look at Aerlinniel forever, You are needed elsewhere."

Tauriel walks into the room and offers me her hand. I take it and she pulls me up. We both walk out of the room without saying a word. We walk through the front doors and into Mirkwood. Its not like as it once was. It used to be a beautiful and peaceful place. Now it has an eerie feeling to it.  

Tauriel stays silent for a little while before finally saying something.

"I am so sorry about Aerlinniel, Legolas." She says to me, but I don't say anything to her, cause I don't know what to say. I still cannot believe this has happened. Wait, I haven't seen Elarinya.

I final decide to say something, "Aerlinniel's sister, Elarinya?"

"She's alright. Aerlinniel's death is hitting her hard too. She's with Gandalf right now, would you like to go talk with them?" Tauriel asks me.

I just nod my head and we turn around to head back. She leads me to where Gandalf and Elarinya are. I still don't know what happened when the war ended. Because after I saw Aerlinniel on the ground, pierced with an arrow, I immediately got her, and her sister, out of there. I took them back to the Woodland-Realm. So, I have some questions I would like to ask Gandalf.

Tauriel opens a door, we walk in and I see Gandalf and Elarinya sitting by a window. Gandalf looks over at me, I notice that Tauriel left and did not stay. I walk over to them and sit down. After a few minutes of all of us just sitting there, Elarinya gets up and comes over and hugs me. I hug her back. Aerlinniel's death hit both of us the hardest.

She sits back down and Gandalf says, "I'm guessing you would like to know what happened after you left?" I nod my head and he continues, "After you took Aerlinniel and Elarinya back to the Woodland-Realm, Lithôniel tried to follow you. He was angry, but I stopped him. You don't have to worry about him anymore."

YAY! This is the 4th book in the Aerlinniel's Secret Series!!! I can't believe it! Does anyone have any guesses to what is going to happen in this book? I am so exited and I hope to update again soon! :)
