Dear Dan,

I didn't see you yesterday, as I was out buying Christmas gifts. I would mention what I got you, but you might read these before Christmas. I won't risk it.

When I got home you were playing Sonic. I was exhausted, so I mumbled something of a hello, and went straight to bed, which is why there was no letter.

I woke up early this morning, as I went to bed quite early yesterday. You've had a knack for falling asleep on the couch lately, as I found you asleep there this morning. I shook my head, smiled and pulled a blanket over you. You mumbled something in your sleep that I didn't catch, so I went and made pancakes. When I was almost finished with them, you came into the kitchen. "Jesus Phil, how early is it?" you mumbled sleepily. His morning voice is beautiful, I thought. "It's eight Dan, a pretty decent time to be awake if you're the rest of the UK." I giggled.

You left to go back to the sitting room and woke up a bit in a minute or two. You burst into the kitchen. "Are those pancakes I smell?" you asked. I laughed. "Didn't you see them when you first came into the kitchen?" I asked. "I'm tired, okay?" you whined. I laughed and shook my head. I put the pancakes on plates and handed you your plate. "Let's go watch some anime." I said, and you nodded your head excitedly. He's so cute, how did I get lucky enough to have him in my life? I thought, and blushed.

We sat watching anime for a while before you announced that we should order a pizza, and I agreed. After we had the pizza, you said since it was finally a day where it was sunny, we should go for a walk and get ice cream. "Ice cream? In the middle of winter?" I asked incredulously. You laughed and threw a pillow at me. "You're no fun Phil!" you exclaimed. "Well I guess we're going to get ice cream, so I can defend my title of fun." I said. You laughed your beautiful laugh and went to get changed. I got changed and met you in the doorway. "You and that space coat," you shook your head. "It's a very nice coat, and it keeps me warm!" I argued. You just shook your head and led the way outside and to ice cream.

You ordered chocolate, and I ordered vanilla. "Opposites attract, right?" I said, and then mentally face-palmed myself. A platonic friend probably wouldn't say something like that. You seemed unfazed though, and agreed cheerily.

When we got back to the flat, you wanted to play Just Dance. "I thought you hated dancing?" I asked. You grinned. "But I love beating you. Plus, I need to work off that ice cream." you laughed. I finally agreed, and we joked around and laughed the whole time. I ended up winning for once, and you pouted for a while.

We had the leftover pizza from lunch for dinner, and you actually went to sleep in your room. I'm in front of the television using the light to write this letter. I'm quite tired, so I'm going to put my pencil down and get some rest.

Yours, Phil
