(more third person please don't hurt me + more focus on Dan)

Dan woke up, and for once, he actually felt awake. The birds were chirping, and there was not a siren to be heard. The sun was shining in the clear London sky. The good weather was extremely rare, as was the quiet morning, and Dan figured this was the sign he was looking for. He was going to tell Phil how he felt. It had only been two days since the party, but Dan wanted to get it done. He wanted Phil to know, even if it meant not having him in his life any more. He could no longer lie to himself, nor Phil. Today was the day.

Dan got up and went into the kitchen, where Phil was already awake, groggily mumbling to himself something about cereal. Dan hummed happily. "Phil, sit down. I'm making breakfast this morning." Phil looked pleasantly surprise and sat down at the breakfast bar. Dan grinned and cracked some eggs into a frying pan. Phil clapped happily. "I love eggs!" he smiled sleepily. "Jeeze, how late did you stay up?" Dan asked Phil, laughing. "Really late-" he yawned. "I guess." Dan laughed again and finished making the eggs. He put some on a plate for himself, and then made up Phil's plate and handed to him. "What's the occasion, anyways?" Phil asked, taking a bite of his eggs. Dan shook his head. "There's no occasion, I just wanted to make breakfast for you." Phil blushed and looked down to his eggs.

When the two were finished with their eggs, Dan suggested that, because of the wonderful weather, they go for a walk. Phil giddily agreed, and they went their separate ways to get changed. They set out for a park, and on the way, Dan suggested, yet again, more ice cream. Phil laughed, but agreed. He seemed more awake now, and that was good. Phil said they should get lunch before they get ice cream, and Dan reluctantly agreed.

They stopped in a small cafe. "It's adorable in here!" Phil exclaimed quietly. Dan laughed at his adorableness and looked up at the menu. "Let's just hope the food is as good as the restaurant itself." he said. Phil nodded. Dan ordered a BLT and Phil ordered a ham sandwich. "Seriously? Just a ham sandwich?" Dan giggled. Phil pouted in defense. "I ordered crisps too!" he argued. Dan just shook his head and laughed again. Once they got their order they sat down at one of the tables. Phil took a bite of his sandwich and hummed happily. "This is so gooood." he said. Dan nodded in a agreement. The sandwiches were amazing.

Once they were finished with their lunch, they continued to walk around the park. "Ice cream now?" Dan asked excitedly. Phil laughed, sticking his tongue out of his mouth adorably. "Yeah, ice cream now." Dan clapped happily. "Race you," he smirked and ran for the ice cream stand. Phil ran after him, beating him by mere inches. Dan pouted, but ordered his ice cream. After Phil got his, they both sat on a park bench to eat. Phil stuck his face in his ice cream, proceeding to get ice cream all around his mouth.
Dan smirked, saw his opportunity, and took it. "Phil, you've got some ice cream on your mouth." he said innocently. Phil grabbed a napkin and Dan stopped him. "No Phil, I got it." and before Phil could do anything Dan leaned in and kissed him. He kissed him harder than he'd ever kissed someone before. And surprisingly enough, Phil kissed back. And he was an amazing kisser, even more amazing than Dan had imagined. The kiss was sweet and patient, unlike needy ones Dan had experienced before. Eventually the two needed air, and they hesitantly broke the kiss. Both boys smiled and blushed. Dan looked down and intertwined their hands.

"I-I-... I didn't know you felt like that," Phil stammered, sounding pleasantly flustered. "Well, they say drunk words are sober thoughts." Dan smiled. Phil grinned and leaned towards Dan. Again, they shared a breath taking kiss. "Wow," Dan muttered, looking down, suddenly insecure. Phil was beautiful beyond thought, beyond even Dan's belief. He couldn't fathom how someone so.. so perfect would have any interest in him. And the worst part? Phil had no idea how fascinating he was. He had no clue how much Dan loved him. He had no idea how truly wonderful he was.

The two boys walked home and fell asleep on the couch watching movies in each other's arms. Dan thought it couldn't get any better than this.
