The meeting was in order. They had discussed the weaknesses of the Bloodlust pack and how the attacks were usually coordinated. Even though Taehyung was away from his father's pack for 10 years, he was still certain that the pack still followed the same old way of coordinating attacks. His father was a creature of habit. Not that bright with planning though he was damn sadistic.

'Are you sure there will be another attack Tae?', Namjoon asked the true blood.

Taehyung had informed them that another attack may happen either today or tomorrow. There was a huge possibility that the group of wolves who killed the two pack members were still lurking around, just waiting to pounce because the Shaded Moon pack was on its low at the moment with grief.

'Yes hyung. I'm sure', Taehyung replied. He knew how his father worked. He also knew who the next target was.

'They will be after Jungkook this time. They will try to get him alone. If not, then they will target someone close to him. It will be like a bargaining chip. They will go after the important people who can be used as bait.', Taehyung explained. It was a cruel trick that the Bloodlust pack used, but it was almost always effective. Attack the most vulnerable part of a person which will compel them to follow with all the demands.

'But why would they do that? What use will it be to attack people close to me?', Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows, worry clenching his soul. He didn't want to put his loved ones at risk. It wasn't right.

Taehyung sighed. He could feel his mate's emotions and honestly, he understood that fear very well. Taehyung also didn't want any of his friends to be at risk. The group of people in front of him had become his family and he wasn't okay with risking their lives.

'They know of your position Angel. They know that as the head alpha, you will always put your pack above everything else. They will attack someone close to you so that you give in to their demands. They are under the impression that I haven't shifted yet. We need to make them believe that as well. Which is why you will be using a scent blocker and will need to hide your mate mark. They will ask you to subdue me as they believe I'm in my wolf form', Taehyung bit his lips as he stared at his mate.

'Why would they think I can subdue a trueblood wolf? Are they crazy or what?', Jungkook asked, baffled.

Taehyung laughed. It was hilarious how clueless Jungkook was about the power he holds over Taehyung as his mate.

'Angel. You are my mate. If I'm in my wolf form, my first concern would be you. No matter what you do to me, I will never harm you. That's why they will ask you to subdue me. Most probably by injecting wolfsbane and silver'

'Oh', Jungkook smiled sheepishly.

The hyungs tried to hide their smiles as they saw how Jungkook blushed. It was rather endearing to hear how much power the young alpha had over the trueblood. He was the trueblood's greatest strength but also his biggest weakness.

'Okay so after that? Then what?', Yoongi voiced out. They all understood what would happen. The question was, how to deal with it if it happens?

Junghwan cleared his throat as he looked at Taehyung and softly smiled. He had talked to the trueblood about his plans about a week ago and the trueblood had accepted.

'I kind of have a confession to make', Junghwan stated, his eyes lingering at Jungkook who was eyeing him curiously. 'I may have contacted the trueblood in Japan and asked him for his help in honing Taehyung's trueblood abilities'

Loud gasps filled the room. High rank wolves usually never come forward to help another high ranked wolf. It was a matter of ego and pride.

'He agreed to help.', Junghwan eased the room, ' he informed us about this one ability which is honestly the most powerful thing I have come to know of. If Taehyung can master it, then we are bound to win. Taehyung had been practicing it for a week now and I must say, there is a lot of progress'

'What ability dad?'

'Well, you see.............'

Jungkook couldn't help but feel like something was going to go horribly wrong. It was a gut feeling that he had and it was making him worried. Taehyung seemed tensed too.

It was 1 day after the meeting and this gut feeling wouldn't go away. It was like the calm before the storm. All his close friends, including the hyungs and his parents were monitored closely. They couldn't take any risks. Not right now.

The news came like a sudden blow when Jungkook's phone rang. Jungkook quickly answered as he saw Jimin's caller ID, though the voice that spoke was definitely not Jimin.

'Hello Jeon Jungkook'

Jungkook growled, his tone alerting the hyungs and Taehyung that something was wrong. Jungkook had put the phone on speaker so that everyone could hear.

'Who the fuck are you and why is Jimin's phone with you? Where is he? What did you do to him?'

The man laughed. 'Oh don't worry. The pregnant omega is safe and well, healthy to say the least. Its not him I'm after. I'm sure you already know that'

Jungkook looked at Taehyung who had stood up, his body on full alert.

'Who the fuck are you and what the hell do you want?'

'Now now, that's not a nice way to talk, is it? Very well since you are pissed off, i'll just get directly to the point. I want the trueblood. Don't try to deny it. Others may believe your lie but I know for a fact that a trueblood exists in South Korea and is currently in your pack. Give me V and I'll give you the omega unscathed. ', the man answered.

Jungkook was on the verge of losing control. His bestfriend was in danger and the enemy wanted his mate.

He looked at everyone around him, silently conversing via the mate link.

'Fine', he answered after a while. ' we'll give you the trueblood. But first, there shouldn't be a scratch on Jimin. And we meet on our pack grounds. No where else. I don't trust you'

The man burst into a fit of laughter. 'Why do you think you can choose anything? Have you forgotten that I have the omega at my mercy?'

This time Jungkook laughed. 'No. I haven't forgotten. But you are forgetting that I have a trueblood here with me. One scratch on Jimin and I'll let him kill every single one of your group, whoever you might be. So yeah, meet you on the pack grounds in an hour. Make sure there isn't a scratch on Jimin'

The man spoke, 'oh but trueblood is in his wolf form isn't he? By the time he reaches us, we will be far away from here. I heard he is stuck in his wolf form. He can't do anything '

Jungkook exhaled sharply. 'True. He can't reach you in time but that doesn't mean he will not find you later. He knows where your pack is. Don't forget that. He can surely tear your limbs out. Do you think he would be calm when he sees you threatening me and my family?'

The man didn't say anything and the line disconnected. Jungkook figured his threat was enough to make the man submit, though he was initially unsure about it actually working. Namjoon had suggested using that threat. It was a long shot but it had worked, giving them a slight advantage. The pack grounds was their turf, so it would be easier to fight if it came down to it. Jungkook wasn't going to let anyone take his mate away from him. Not now. Not ever.

The room was eerily quiet and Jungkook realized after a while that it was because of the Trueblood's deadly aura. The trueblood looked pissed and that was enough to tell Jungkook that all hell was about to break loose.

How the hell did the men get their hands on Jimin? Jungkook was pissed and worried. If Jimin was captured then that would mean the pack warriors he had assigned to Jimin for his protection were most likely dead. Jungkook was not ready to lose more people but it looks like fate has some other plans.

The man had reached the pack grounds at the correct time. There were 5 other people with him, including Jimin. The man in the middle held Jimin in his grasps, his claws were out and one of his hand was on the stomach of Jimin, in a very threatening manner.

Yoongi was on the verge of attacking the enemy, the distressed scent of his mate making his wolf howl in pain.

Jungkook and the other hyungs had discussed the plan. They had figured out that the man would most probably order Jungkook to make the trueblood drink wolfsbane and inject silver into his body so that they can control him. Jungkook had masked his scent and covered his mate mark according to their plan.

Thus, Jungkook had decided that the trueblood would be bought in later as he didn't want to risk anything now, not until Jimin's safety was guaranteed.

'Jeon. Where is the trueblood?', the man called out. There was atleast 12 feet distance between them, both sides in a defensive stance, though at the moment Jungkook's side was bigger in numbers.

'First tell me who you are and why you want him?', Jungkook called out, his eyes switching from the man's face to the scared face of Jimin who was silently crying. The omega looked so terrified.

'Bogum. My name is Bogum. We are from BloodLust pack and we want the Trueblood because he has a debt to pay,' the man sneered.

Jungkook was seriously on the verge of losing control, his wolf itching to come out and play in this Bogum's blood.

But ofcourse, he couldn't really risk Jimin's life. First he has to ensure that Jimin was safe then he would play with Bogum. Yep. That sounds like a plan.

'What debt?', Jungkook asked. He already knew about the 'debt' Bogum was talking about but ofcourse, he can't let the man know that he knew.

The man laughed. 'Why don't you ask dear Taehyungie? Oh wait, you can't because he can't shift into his human form'

Taehyungie?

Who the fuck was this man who dared to call his mate Taehyungie?

Jungkook was about to answer but a sharp voice cut him off, making all the other wolves around him drop to their knees. Jungkook was the only one who was not affected by the trueblood command. (Remember the ability of the trueblood command?)

'SUBMIT'

The trueblood stood behind the pack members, fully in his human form, dressed in simple sweatpants and shirt. He looked quite hot except for the fact that his eyes looked murderous.

He walked slowly towards Bogum and the rest of the men who couldn't help but shake in fear.

They were not expecting the trueblood to shift. That wasn't part of the plan. They had solid information that the trueblood couldn't shift and stayed in his wolf form all the time. Then how the hell was he standing in his human form?

Jungkook knew who that deep voice belonged to. His mate sounded so powerful.

'Let the Omega go Bogum', the trueblood commanded when he reached the Frontline, standing right next to Jungkook.

Bogum released the Omega, who was still crouched down.

'Jimin. Go to your mate', Taehyung commanded.

The trueblood then looked at everyone around him, ' everyone from the Shaded Moon pack are released from the command. Get up'

The command lifted immediately and Taehyung turned to peck Jungkook's lips.

'You alright love?', Taehyung asked, softly brushing his fingers on Jungkook's bottom lip.

Jungkook hummed as he pecked Taehyung's lips one more time.

Taehyung smiled at his mate one last time before turning his face to look at the man in front of him.

'Hello Bogummie Hyung, long time no see?'

Hey guys. I'm sorry for the late update. Like I mentioned previously, my phone is broken. I will not be able to buy a new phone soon, since my budget is messed up at the moment. But I will try to update using the laptop so fingers crossed!
