Diya got ready to her college with a brisk mood and smile.The thought of meeting Aadhi and spending some time with him kept her excited.

Diya left to the dining table but sighed seeing her breakfast.
'Enna kaa...Idly ah?',Diya asked sitting with the pout while Nila eating it with the same pout.

'Enna Idly ah?Idly dhan!',Kavya said placing the chutney in both of their plates.
'Yen ka ipdi panra?Oru parotta, poori,nalla taste aana tomato chutney oda oru Dosa,Noodles ipdilam unaku breakfast seiya theriyaadha?Yeppa paaru idly illana upma..Bore ka!',Diya pouted.

'Aama ma bore uh!',Nila joined.
'Ohh..Unga rendu perukum venumna neengale kitchen ku vandhu senjukonga..Naan senja idhaan seiven..',Kavya said.
'Amma...Diya ma lam samaika venaam..Adhuku indha idly eh paravalla..',Nila said making Diya glare at her.

'Sunday naan Maggie seiven paaru..Unaku oru spoon kooda thara maate..Kalaikirella enna..',Diya said making her pout.
'Nee onnu seiya venaam po..Amma senju tharuvaanga..',Nila told.

'Oh..Avlo dhooram aayiducha? chocolate iniku evening naan unaku vaangitu vara maaten..',Diya fought back while Kavya huffed seeing the duo.
'Seri seri..Sanda podama sapdunga..',Kavya said and they both had the breakfast with a grumpy face.

'Akka.. You know, our college is conducting inter college competition..Im thinking of giving my name under singing..',Diya said while Kavya broke into a big grin.

'Seriouslyyy??Im so happy for you Diya!Long time it seems..',Kavya said and she nodded.
'Who's the reason behind this?Maraikama sollu...',Kavya asked and Diya's lips curved upside down in amusement.

'Kaa.. Yepdi?',Diya asked.
'Naan un akka di',Kavya said and Diya chuckled.She narrated the happenings last day.Kavya was extremely happy that she got some true souls around her and she assured herself that Diya will change for sure.

But sister will be a sister always,
'Ohh..Unga avaru sonnadhum..Paatu paada okay solteenga..Hmmm..', Kavya said with teasing smile.
'Aiyoo..Nee poo ka..Summa tease pantu',Diya got up from her place.

'Odane madam ku vekkam vandhurume..Odiruvaanga..', Kavya said and Diya ran from there not before kissing Nila's cheek.

Diya got inside the bus and it reached Aadhi's stop but he never spotted till they reach college.She was extremely worried that Aadhi was not found.She had lot of expectations today but everything was failed.Brushing her thoughts and hoping that he'll be inside the campus.She rushed to her class and kept no no literally she threw the bag on her place and rushed to Aadhi's class without even responding to Vicky.

Diya reached his class and let her eyes roam around the class but she didn't found him.Continuing the convo with Raghav but still her eyes were searching him.

'Enna thangam?Yedho thedite iruka?',Raghav asked and she gave him a 'Maatikiten ey' look.For her goodluck Shravan and Pugazh was also not there.

'Illa thangam..Pugazh anna,Shravan anna,Aadhi yaarum kaanome nu paathe..',Diya said.

'Pugazh,Shravan inga dha canteen ponnanga..Aadhi..Iniku avan varadhe doubt dhanu nenaikire..nethe sollitu irundhaan',Raghav said.
'Ohh..',Diya sounded in disappointment but soon hid it with her smile.

'Hmm..Seri thangam,Im going then',Diya said.
'Hmm okay da.. Iniku 3rd hour auditorium vandhuru',Raghav said ans Diya nodded in absent mind.

Diya left to her class and everything turned upside down.Thinking about her over excitement had lead to disappointment she sat on her seat totally forgetting Vicky.

'Diya..Un accounts note kuden',Vicky settled beside her but she gave her lunch box.
'Heyy..Endha ulagathula iruka nee? Idhu lunch box, account note illa..Idhula sum edhuvum irukaadhu sambhar sadham dhan irukum',Vicky said and Diya sighed in embarrassment.

'Sorry da..Naan edho yosanai la..',Diya apologised to Vicky.
'Yen? Why are you being absent minded Diya?', Vicky asked.
'Ila..Iniku avaru varalayam..',Diya said with a sad face.

'Evaru varala?',Vicky asked and Diya glared him.
'Ohh..Unga avaru!Okayy okayy..Yen varala?',Vicky asked.
'Adhaan da therila..Raghav anna dhan sonnaru..',Diya said.

'Iniku competition ku vera name kudukanum..Dull ah irukaadheenga thalaivi!!Unga avaru vera naan paathukuren..Nee participate pannunu aasaiya ketaaru.. Ipdiye dull ah poi participate panna nallava irukum siringa thalaivi..Iniki varalennaa enna naaliku vandhuruvaaru', Vicky said and Diya smiled slightly.

'Pahh..Sirichutiya!Seri vaa un account notes ah kudu..',Vicky said and she gave her note chuckling.

But all her mind was with Aadhi.
'Iniku yen avaru varala?Naan evlo aasaiya vandhen..Seri naaliku varuvaaru..Aana iniku naan enna panradhu..',Diya sighed and continued her class.

She left to the auditorium after informing Vicky but couldn't find any familiar face.
'Enna namaku therinja moonju edhayum kaanome..',Diya thought searching and suddenly jerked hearing someone's scream behind her ears.

'Heyy yaaru adhu!!',she asked and was about to push the person.But stopped finding Aadhi.Her hands was on his chest and blood rushed to her cheeks realising their position.She was breathing heavily while Aadhi's gaze was still on her.

'Bayandhutiya?',he broke into laughter and she pulled back still not facing him.Pushing her blush and smile aside she gave a fake glare.

'Ipdiya kathuveenga?Oru second uyire poiduchu..',she said still panting due to her high heartbeat.
'Summa pannen ma',he said but do he know that she was feeling like her life literally came back to her.

'Naan Raghav annata ketene..Iniku neenga vara maateenganu anna sonnaru?',Diya asked.
'Paah pesuviya ma nee?',Aadhi asked and Diya pouted.
'Cha..Naan pesuvenaanu lam yosichurukaaru..Oru vela irukumo?Romba lam karpanai panna koodadhu..But how sweet uh..'her thoughts broke when Aadhi waved at her.

'Haann..pesuvene..',Diya said.
'Hmmmm.... Actually enaku iniku college varave mood illa..Seri practice panlamenu dhan vandhe',Aadhi said with his usual charming smile and she nodded an okay.

'Enna sonna?Raghav ta naan varala nu ketiya?',Aadhi asked and that's when she realised that she had blurted out.
'Abha adhu...',before Diya complete,they heard Raghav's voice.

'Enna ore kootam potutu irukeenga?',Raghav came along with Pugazh, Shravan and Vicky.
'Rendu peru enna da kootam?',Aadhi asked.

'Dei Vicky..Neeyum vandhuta?',Diya asked.
'Bore adichudhu thalaivi class la..Adhaan vanten', Vicky replied.

'Seri..enga andha Shruthi okay sonnaala illaya?',Raghav asked.
'Hmm keten da..Varenu dha sonnaa',Aadhi said.

'Naan okay sollirundha..Naan dhan aadirukanumm..Hmm..',Diya sighed regretting.
'Kathukuren! Next time naan aadren!',Diya determined inside her.

'Heyy guysss!', a girl came there with a bright smile.
'Vaa Shruthi',Aadhi smiled.
'Ohh..idhudhan andha Shruthi ah..Aana ivaru yen avala paathu sirikiraaru?',Diya pouted while Vicky chuckled seeing her reaction.

'Thalaivi?Enna posa posa va?', Vicky asked.
'Adhellam onnu illa po da',Diya said.
'Paathale theriyudhu..', Vicky chuckled making her glare at him.

'Okay!Zipped',Vicky said as he shut his mouth.

'Shruthi.. Unaku okay dhana?Or else vera vela edhavadha irukaa?',Aadhi asked.
'Actually adha solladhan naan vandhen..Indha competition velai la naan konjam busy ah iruken..So vara mudiyaadhu nu solla dhan vandhe..', Shruthi said and Diya sighed in relief.

'Ohh..Fine!',Aadhi replied.
'Apo unga pair uh?',Diya asked.
'Naan solo va panikiren ma',Aadhi replied.
'Adutha dhadava Naan aadren ungakooda!',Diya thought and smiled inside.

Raghav introduced Diya to Shruthi,and they shared few words before leaving to register their names.Diya was still pouting to see Shruthi sticking along with Aadhi.

She was so jovial to everyone which made Diya little jealous of her.
'Cha..Namaku mattum yen ipdilam pesa vara maatenkudhu?Hmmm..',Diya inhaled sharply sighing.

Soon they all left for practicing but our Diya kept sighting him inbetween the practices.

Days passed and Aadhi and Diya's bond grew a little more to share a few words whenever they meet and he'll listen her singing when he was free from his practice and she'll admire his dance when she was free from her practice infront of him,but always from far without no one's knowledge.

It was just a day before the competition and the participants literally stayed in the auditorium for the whole day.

Lunch time arrived and Diya saw Aadhi who was talking to someone in his mobile.

'Marandhuten ma..Pch Viden..',Aadhi yelled.
'Ahh ahh..Naan canteen la saptukuren nee vei..',he declined the call and saw Diya looking at him.

'Oii!',Aadhi came near her and she noticed Aadhi was dull.
'Yen?Oru maadhiri irukeenga?',Diya asked.

'Nothing..Lunchbox eduthutu varala..Canteen dha ponumm..',Aadhi sighed.
'Hmm..',Diya showed her lunchbox to him and he raised his eyebrows.

'Sapdlamm..',Diya said.
'Hey..Illa ma naan anga poi saptukuren..You carry on',Aadhi said.
'Ungaluku canteen saapadu pudikaadhunu enaku theriyum..Idhu akka pannadhudhan vaanga',Diya said.

'Enaku pudikaadhunu unaku epdi theriyum?',Aadhi asked.
'Ahhh...Adhu...Andha saapadu yaaruku dhan pudikum?Saapade aari poi,Taste um perusa nalla irukaadhu..Adha vechu dhan sonnen..',Diya said and he nodded.

'Habbadi..thappichom!Un vaai dhaan di unaku sani..Vaai vittu maatirupa inneram..',Diya brushed her thoughts and saw him still standing in hesitation.

'Illa ma..anga Raghav ellaru irupaangaa.Naan anga saptukuren..',Aadhi said and Diya's face fell hearing this.
Aadhi noticed her and sat opposite to her.

'Seri sapdren',Aadhi said and Diya smiled widely.
Diya's happiness now have no boundaries,she felt she was the happiest in the whole world.Her crush was now with her,to share the lunch with her.
'Enaku idhu podhum!Enaku idhu podhum!',Diya was dancing inside her mind.

She opened her lunchbox and saw Mushroom biriyani inside.
'Heyyy Mushroom biriyani!En favourite!!',Aadhi exclaimed like a child and Diya chuckled.

'Haiyoo spoon onnu dhan iruke..',before she complete her thoughts,Aadhi took the spoon and the lunch box from her and took a bite.
'Heyy semmaa..Tell your sister that I said amazing!', Aadhi said while Diya was still admiring him.Adding to that,she was still in shock that he took her spoon for a bite.

'Avaru konjam kooda yosikaama apdiye posukunu eduthu vaaila vechutaaru nga..Anga naan ennoda..Ennoda manasu apdiye thundu thunda indha auditorium full ah pinju poiduchunga'

'Diya?Diya?',she came out from her trance hearing Aadhi's call for the second time.
'Huh?',she raised her eyebrows.
'Enna ma?Adikadi engeyo kaanama poidra?',Aadhi asked taking another spoon of biriyani.

'Illala..',Diya smiled.
'Super ah iruku ma!Daily akka samayal dhana?',Aadhi asked.
'Hmm aama!Ava super ah pannuva',Diya said.

'Ohh okay okay..Aama Un appa amma lam ena panraanga?',Aadhi asked and Diya's face fell hearing him.
'Amma,Appa,Akka husband..Oru accident la erandhutaanga..Ipo naa,akka,akka ponnu mattum dhan..',Diya said.

'Aiyoo sorry ma..I didn't know',Aadhi said concerned.
'Its okay, you don't need to be sorry',Diya smiled.
'Ahmm..Nee samayal panna maatiya?',Aadhi asked changing the topic.

'Humm..Ivaruta unmai ya sollalama?Kalaaichutaaruna?Crush kitta poi epdi idha solradhu?..Enna nenaipaaru?Image eh damage aayidume...',she thought.

'Hmmm..Konjam konjam..',Diya said and Aadhi nodded.
'Hmmm naane saptu iruken..indha neeyum sapdu',Aadhi gave her lunchbox.

'Ivaru therinju panraara illa theriyaama panraara?',Diya thought hiding her blush.

'Ohh..Naan spoon use pannadhu uncomfortable ah irukaa?Naa venumna wash panni kondu varata?',Aadhi asked.

'Kashtam kashtam romba kashtam',Diya rolled her eyes inside her mind.

'No no,kudunga..Adhellam illa',Diya said.
'Deii Aadhi..HOD unna koopdraaru vaa da',a guy from Aadhi's class informed them and left.
'Andhaalu yen koopdraan?Diya sorry naan ipo polenna kevalama kepaan enna...Naan poitu vandharen,nee sapdu..',Aadhi left after bidding bye to her.

Diya blushed looking at the spoon.
'Aiyoo...Idhe spoon la..Naan ipo sapda poren!Ayoo kailayum kulukulu, manasulayum kulukulu,vairulayum kulukulu.. Auditorium eh kulukulu..',Diya chuckled and took a spoon of her MOST DELICIOUS MUSHROOM BIRIYANI that she has ever tasted.
