That's it for his harem and I don't think that I'll add anymore. Also, due to popular demand Sonja will stay alive and she's now in my oc's harem, which the cause of the war will be changed from the original movie. Now, Lucian will still be in this story but he won't fall in love with Sonja as he will see her only as a friend in this book. Michael, though, I think that I'll make him more of a background/side character as I've been rewatching the Underworld movies and while I do like the idea of him becoming a hybrid, he is one stubborn dumbass that just won't listen to anything that Selene tells him, especially when it revolves around drinking blood to survive. But anyway onto the chapter.

Year 1202 A.D.

The scene opens to show the scenery of the Mountain Village as it changes to depict Sigurd hunting in the woods nearby his village, with his bow in hand while he tracks a deer's footprints. Once Sigurd manages to find the deer, he gets into position and aims his bow, but before he can take the shot, he hears a loud, monstrous roar in the distance, which frightens the deer and causes it to run away.

Sigurd: (Immediately recognizes the roar) William. (Starts running back towards his village as he notices rising smoke in the distance and hears the screams of his fellow villagers; thinking) Please let me make it in time.

However, once Sigurd runs past the forest line, he is horrified to see his village in flames, as well as the dead bodies of countless villagers. It is then that Sigurd notices his teenage son running with several villagers as they head towards him.

???: (Turns and notices his father running towards him) Dad! (Runs toward his father and hugs him)

Sigurd: Son! (Hugs him back) Listen to me, son. I need you to take the horses and run as fast as you can with these people!

???: But Dad, what about you?! I'm not leaving you!

Sigurd: There's no time to argue with me about this, Ragnar! Your uncle, my older brother, is not after you, but me, and you need to get the hell out of here! (Places his hand on his son's face as both he and his son have tears forming in their eyes) Please, son? I already lost your mother, and I don't want to lose you too.

Ragnar: (Tears start falling down his face as he then hugs his father) You better make it out of this alive, Dad, and come find me!

Sigurd: (returns the hug as he pats his son's back) I will, son, and I promise you that I will find you. (Pushes his son behind him as he notices William jump on top of a house) Now, run!!

Ragnar then runs toward the horses with the remaining surviving villagers as they all ride off to safety. Meanwhile, William notices Sigurd and starts growling and snarling at him from the roof of a house.

Sigurd: William, come on! Come and get me! It's me that you want, remember?!

Sigurd then starts running back into the forest while William charges after his little brother, firing various arrows at William whenever he looks behind to try to weaken his older brother. However, William then pounces onto Sigurd's back, grabbing him and throwing his little brother at a tree. Sigurd slowly starts to get back up as he grabs a discarded arrow just as he sees William walking towards him. Once the latter reaches him, Sigurd stabs his older brother in the thigh. Sigurd then rolls out of the way, takes out his Viking axe, and gets into his fighting stance while William roars in pain before doing the same.

Sigurd: William, you have brought shame and disgrace to our family. Instead of trying to control your animalistic instincts, you have decided to embrace them and become nothing more than a monster! You attacked innocent people, turned them into monsters, destroyed countless villages, and even murdered my wife! Our brother may want to save you, but I believe that it's best to put you down for good!

Sigurd then charges at William as the latter swipes his right hand at him. Sigurd dodges his brother's attack by sliding below it, then slices William's stomach and gets behind him. However, before Sigurd can attack his brother again, William backhands Sigurd to the ground, then pounces on him and bites down on Sigurd's right shoulder. Sigurd, with his weapon still in his right hand, immediately starts bashing William's side and back repeatedly. William then picks up his little brother and throws him at a large rock, which knocks Sigurd unconscious while William continues to attack the village and its inhabitants.

Timeskip

After a couple of hours, the scene changes to show three Vampire Elders: Marcus Corvinus, Viktor, and Amelia as they arrive at the Mountain Village with their army of Death Dealer vampires. They see that the village is destroyed, and countless bodies of the inhabitants lie dead on the ground.

Marcus: My God, brother. What have you done?

Viktor: As I've told you many times before, Marcus, your brother has yet again destroyed another village and must be dealt with.

Amelia: We must move quickly before they turn.

Viktor: (to Marcus) Is he still here?

Marcus: Yes, he's still here, and so is my little brother. Viktor, I want William to be unharmed when you capture him, and Amelia, I want you to find my little brother, who goes by the name of Sigurd, and yell for me when you find him. You'll know who he is, as he wears our family's ring, but Sigurd has an "S" engraved on it.

Amelia: As you wish, Lord Marcus.

Viktor: I gave you my word, did I not? However, you must stay with me, as I can't have you dying on us.

Marcus: (sighs begrudgingly) Very well.

Viktor nods his head as Amelia and the rest of the Death Dealers start burning all of the bodies of the villagers while Amelia looks for Sigurd. As the Death Dealer vampires deal with the villagers, Amelia is shown walking into the forest on the other side of the village as she picks up the scent of fresh blood in the area, where she then notices a man lying on the ground as she runs up to him. It was then that she started checking the man's hands until she found the Corvinus family ring on his right middle finger, thus confirming that he was Sigurd Corvinus.

Amelia: I found him, Lord Marcus!! (She starts gently shaking Sigurd as he slowly begins to wake up) It's going to be okay now, as Lord Marcus is here to save you. (She notices Marcus running towards them)

Marcus: (He cradles his brother in his arms) I'm here, brother, and everything will be alright.

Sigurd: Brother, I'm sorry, but it's already too late for me. (His eyes turn completely black as he feels his bones contorting and breaking while he slowly starts changing into a werewolf)

At the same time, the dead villagers start waking up as they begin to transform into werewolves and begin to attack the Death Dealer vampires, resulting in a bloody battle. However, the vampires are completely outnumbered by the werewolves, while Viktor manages to hold them off as best as he can. Meanwhile, Sigurd continues his transformation while Marcus holds him down, and Amelia stands guard.

Marcus: I'm so sorry, little brother. I never meant for this to happen to you. (He fully pins down his brother as the latter continues to thrash around, trying to bite him with his newly formed fangs) Forgive me, brother.

Amelia: Lord Marcus, what are you going to do?

Marcus: The only thing that can save him. (He leans forward and bites the left side of Sigurd's neck, injecting his Vampire strain into his brother)

Marcus then lets go of his brother while Sigurd begins to feel the effects of both strains inside his body as he starts to transform into his Werewolf/Vampire Hybrid form. Once his transformation is complete, Sigurd releases a monstrous roar before turning his attention to both his older brother and Amelia.

Marcus: Sigurd. (Raises his hands as he slowly walks up to his brother) It's going to be okay, brother. I'm right here. Can you understand me? (Sees Sigurd nod his head before turning to look at the woods just when they both hear the sound of a loud roar in the distance) William.

Amelia: Viktor must have found him and is trying to capture him?!

Marcus: I swear if he so much as hurts my brother, I'm gonna... (Notices Sigurd start running towards where William is while on all fours) Sigurd! Come on, Amelia! I can't let my brothers get seriously injured or worse by Viktor!

Amelia: Right!

Marcus and Amelia then run after Sigurd, while at the same time, the scene changes to show Viktor and the Death Dealer vampires as they have a hard time restraining William with their crossbow harpoons. However, before anyone could do anything, Sigurd bursts out of the treeline, tackles his older brother, and starts violently scratching him with his claws. Sigurd then picks up William and slams him onto the ground. It is then that Sigurd releases a powerful roar at William, which causes the latter to submit. But just then, harpoons start piercing through Sigurd's body as he howls in pain, while at the same time, both Marcus and Amelia arrive to try and stop it.

Marcus: Viktor!! What the hell are you doing to my little brother!?! Release him at once!!

Viktor: I saw the eyes of that thing that you call a brother as it took the appearance of both a vampire and a werewolf!! He is an abomination, and he must be dealt with!

Marcus: You know the consequences of trying to kill me or either of my brothers, Viktor!? William was not to be harmed, and neither was my little brother Sigurd! Place them both in my charge, as we agreed, or you will pay for your deceit!

Viktor: And you will learn your place! Your sympathy for this beast is foolish. Your brother is entirely beyond control. It will be done my way. As for that thing that you call a younger brother, he is a crime against nature and must be eliminated!

Amelia: Sigurd was the only one strong enough to take down William while the rest of us weren't able to! You may think that he is an abomination, but there's still so much more that we can learn from Sigurd, as there has never been a hybrid before, much less a Tri-Blood Hybrid, due to Sigurd being a Corvinus. If we can guide Sigurd down the right path and train him on how to control his powers, then he can become a great ally for the Vampire Covens.

Marcus: Amelia is right, Viktor. I can compromise with whatever plans you have for my twin brother William, but don't kill my little brother Sigurd, as he never asked for this to happen to him. Our father had hidden Sigurd away from our war and has spent his entire life as a human until tonight. It's my fault for not being a good big brother to Sigurd, as he has lost everything because of both William and me. (Turns to see Sigurd shifting back into his human form as he starts removing the harpoons from his body)

Viktor: Fine! Your twin brother will be imprisoned for all eternity and far from you. As for your abomination of a little brother, he will be...

Amelia: Under my care. I'll take him to my coven, where he will be protected and safe from this war, as we'll teach him how to control his new powers. (Turns to Sigurd and walks up to him, then takes off her gauntlet and cuts her wrist before extending it to him) Here. You need to feed, as you lost a lot of blood and won't survive if you don't drink it.

Sigurd weakly turns his head to his brother, who nods at him, while the former then grabs onto Amelia's right arm and starts drinking her blood, which causes all of his injuries to completely heal. After that, Marcus and Sigurd say their goodbyes to each other, while the latter whispers to his older brother that his son is still alive, as he had escaped William's attack, which brings tears of joy to Marcus's eyes. It was then that Sigurd hugged his older brother goodbye before making his way toward Amelia, who then brought him into her horse-drawn carriage, while her Death Dealer guard took the reins of the horses and started riding through the dark forest.

Timeskip

The scene changes to show Amelia's horse-drawn carriage arriving at the docks as Amelia, Sigurd, and the former's Death Dealer guard make their way towards one of the longships.

Sigurd: (looks at his ring before turning to Amelia) Amelia, I appreciate what you are doing for me, but why? You are a vampire, so why did you decide to save my life?

Amelia: Because I respect your older brother Marcus, and unlike Viktor, I actually honor his wishes regarding his two brothers: you and William. Marcus saved my life when I was originally human; I was mortally wounded in battle until your older brother sired me as a vampire. Where I come from, it doesn't matter who or what you are in life, as everyone should be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect. That's why I don't see you, well, in Viktor's words, as an abomination; there is so much that we can learn from you, and that is what makes you special, Sigurd.

Sigurd: Thanks, Amelia. I appreciate your kind words. So, where exactly is your coven, Amelia?

Amelia: (smiles) Well, the thing is, I have my main coven that I'm in control of, which is known as the Eastern Coven. However, because the vampires in the Eastern Coven aren't fond of werewolves, I decided to co-found another coven with a Death Dealer friend of mine who goes by the name of Vidar. Thus, we helped each other create the Nordic Coven, which is located in the northern peak of Scandinavia. Unlike the other covens, the Nordic Coven is more independent, as they do not answer to the Council and live as they wish, thus staying far away from the politics and the war among the two species.

Amelia then places her hand on Sigurd's shoulder and gives him a comforting smile.

Amelia: You'll be safe there, Sigurd, as Vidar holds no ill will towards werewolves. He knows that it isn't their fault, and thus, once he sees you and learns about your condition, he'll be intrigued and will want to know more about you instead of shunning you for who you are.

Sigurd: I see. Well, that's comforting to hear, I suppose. (Turns to Amelia's guard) What about your Death Dealer?

Death Dealer: Actions speak louder than words, boy. I don't care if you are a Tri-Blood Hybrid or even a member of the Corvinus family as the younger brother to Marcus Corvinus. If you can prove to be trustworthy to Lady Amelia and her court through your actions instead of your words, then I'll see you as a worthy ally.

Amelia: Thomas here has proven himself to be a worthy ally in my court, as well as a trusted friend who has sworn an oath to keep the location of the Nordic Coven a secret from the other Covens and the Council.

Sigurd then nods his head as they all enter one of the longships and set sail to the northern region of Scandinavia. After some time has passed, they finally arrive at the location of the Nordic Coven, where they then travel up the mountain until they reach the peak to see a large castle in front of them. Once the group passes through the main gatehouse and enters the courtyard, they see both a young-looking woman with pale skin, long straight white hair, and electric blue eyes, as well as a tall man with pale skin, blue eyes, and a bald head, who are both waiting for them.

???: Amelia, it's nice to see you again. Welcome back to Var Dohr, and I see that you have brought guests to our Coven.

Amelia: It's good to see you too, Vidar, and yes, I've brought my personal guard and a friend of mine who needs sanctuary here. (Turns to the woman) And this must be your daughter, Lena?

Vidar: Why, yes, she is. It's been six hundred years since the last time you saw her, as you only met her when she was just a child. (Turns to Sigurd) You, though, I've never seen before. Who are you?

Lena: Sigurd Corvinus. You are the younger brother of both Marcus and William Corvinus, as well as the third son of Alexander Corvinus.

Sigurd: How did you know that?

Vidar: My daughter has a special ability that allows her to see the memories, characteristics, personality, and feelings of others just by looking at them.

Sigurd: I see. (Turns to Lena) What else do you see?

Lena: (Starts walking in circles around Sigurd while she occasionally touches him) I see both pain and darkness in your heart, as well as the loss of your wife during William's attack five years ago. (Places her hand on Sigurd's face) I'm so sorry for your loss, Sigurd, but I'm sure that your late wife is in a better place, knowing that her family is still alive and well. You also carry a heavy burden after being bitten by both of your older brothers, turning you into the first true Tri-Blood Hybrid.

Vidar: (Walks up to Sigurd) Fascinating. How did it happen, Sigurd?

Sigurd then went on to explain how William had attacked his village while he managed to get his son out to safety as he dealt with his older brother. However, he then explained that he was bitten by William and was left for dead until he was saved by Marcus, who had also been bitten, which resulted in him transforming into his hybrid form. It was then that Amelia chimed in and further explained that she had made a promise to Marcus that she would keep Sigurd safe, and thus it was why she had brought him here to the Nordic Coven in hopes that Vidar would protect him. After thinking it over, Vidar decided to let Sigurd stay in the Nordic Coven as an honored guest, where both he and the Nordic vampires would help him learn how to control his new powers. Sigurd and Amelia then said their goodbyes before the latter left back to the Eastern Coven with Thomas at her side.

Timeskip (Year 1205 A.D.)

For the past three years, Sigurd has been training to master his hybrid powers, as well as both his combat and weaponry abilities, with Vidar and the rest of the Nordic vampires. During this time, Sigurd has become friends and allies with the Nordic vampires, especially Vidar and his daughter Lena, who have all shown acceptance towards his status as a hybrid. Sigurd has also kept in contact with his older brother Marcus, his son Ragnar, and even Amelia by sending various letters to them, which have all updated him on what has been going on in their lives. Currently, the scene changes to show Sigurd in the courtyard as he trains with Lena while Vidar observes their spar from the balcony.

Lena: (blocks Sigurd's sword strike with her sword; starts smirking) Not bad, Sigurd. You're getting stronger since the last time we fought, but let's see if your speed has improved. (Disappears in a blink of an eye as she moves around Sigurd while leaving a whitish spectral trail behind her)

Sigurd then lowers his sword and closes his eyes while Lena continues to run around him. She then charges at him, swinging her sword, but Sigurd easily manages to catch Lena's sword between his fingers before opening his eyes with a smirk on his face.

Sigurd: I say that it's been improving, Lena. (Sees Lena start smiling at him)

Vidar: (starts clapping his hands as he makes his way towards his daughter and Sigurd) Well done, you two! Especially you, Sigurd, as not many people are able to keep up with my daughter, let alone block her attack. However, I regret to inform you about some troubling news, as I've received this letter that is addressed to you, Sigurd. (Takes out a letter from his robes and hands it to Sigurd)

Sigurd: Is it from my brother, Marcus? I haven't received any of his letters for over a month now. (Takes the letter from Vidar and notices the name on the front) Amelia? I hope that she is also okay. (Removes the seal and opens the letter)

Amelia (Letter): Dear Sigurd,

I hope that this letter has reached you, as I'm afraid that I must deliver some terrible news about your brother. Lord Marcus has been betrayed and usurped by Viktor, who started a coup to overthrow your older brother and has now become the leader of the Vampire clans after he had imprisoned him. I also regret to inform you that Viktor knows that you aren't under my care in my coven, as he had recently been invited to my home, and during his time here, he hadn't seen or even heard from you throughout the castle. I tried to make up an excuse about your whereabouts, but Viktor didn't believe it and has now planned to hunt you down and kill you for what you are, Sigurd. You are in grave danger, Sigurd, as Viktor won't stop at anything to find you, even going as far as to lure you out into a trap. Promise me that you will be careful and not fall for his tricks.

Amelia.

Sigurd then crushes the letter in his hand as the scene pans to look at his face, which shows him with an enraged expression as his eyes transform.

Sigurd: Viktor!

The scene turns black, and the credits are shown.

Chapter 1 is done. This was definitely a long chapter but I wanted to showcase what happened before William attacked the Mountain Village from the Underworld: Evolution movie. Also, I decided to have both Amelia and the Nordic vampires be a bit more sympathetic towards my oc's condition, although, Vidar and his daughter did show that they didn't mind the fact that Selene was dating a hybrid in Blood Wars. Although, I'm still trying to figure out on what to do with Thomas's son David in this book as he is the son of Amelia, but since she is in my oc's harem I could have it to where that Amelia and Thomas's relationship was more political than actual genuine love or something.
