No one POV

Amy swam through the water, keeping a focus and awake until she could find a town. Along the way she saw many school's of wish, other sea creatures and even other species of mermaid's, but kept her hood over her head in case someone recognize her. As she swam she heard people screaming and fighting along with witnessing many fights between animals and other mermaid's. Amy sighed as she pouts "I guess the unknown isn't that interesting.." she crossed her arms, but suddenly she heard singing nearby. Curiousness filled Amy's mind as she followed the singing, as it grew louder and louder she was near a cliff. Amy hid in the shadows from the cliff as she tries to get a glance of who was singing. "~Let's go to the garden, you'll find something waiting right there where you left it, lying upside down~" the unknown voice sang. Amy swam up and took a peak over the cliff, and what she found was unexpected- well to her at least. It was a mershark laying on its back, staring up at the dark surface "~When you finally find it, you'll see how it's faded,  the underside is lighter when you turn it around~" The mershark sang. Amy mustered up her courage as she approached the mershark and hovered over them "I like your song!" Amy said happily "AHH!!" the mershark screams as they sit up quickly, accidently bumping their forehead on Amy's. The mershark rubs their forehead before quickly backing up from Amy "Please don't hurt me!" the mershark exclaims as they put their arms up in defense. "Hurt you?" Amy said in confusion as the mershark looks at Amy "You're...not afraid of me?" the mershark asks as Amy shakes her head "No? Why would I be?" Amy asks as she examines the mershark. The mershark was a girl with tanned skin, dark brown eyes, dark brown hair with streaks of black and had an ocean blue shark tail. "Because I'm a shark.." the mershark said as Amy also noticed the mershark's pointy teeth "I don't find you scary, no not one bit. My name is Amy. Amy Aquatica. What's yours?" Amy asked the mershark as she stuck her hand out "I'm Natasha. Natasha White." Natasha said as she gently shook Amy's hand. Amy smiled at Natasha as Natasha returned the smile with a small, shy one. "Where are you from?" Amy asks as Natasha looked away "I..ran away from home.." Natasha said looking away as she rubbed the back of her neck. Amy looks and smiles "Me too! You can tag along with me if you like!" she said with a bright smile. Natasha looked at Amy and smiled, not questioning her hood and not being able to see her face as she nodded "Sure." Natasha gave a small smile as Amy began swimming "Come on!" Amy said as Natasha caught up with Amy. The two swam into the unknowing ocean, happy each of them made a new friend.
