Mermaids had always been something that Sans found himself interested in. His eyes had always been drawn to the pretty colours of the tails in his books, how when the light would catch the scales they would shine. Not only this but how they could live above and below the water, the gills were so cool! He never thought he would ever see one, so when he saw you it was a complete shock.

"Wh-what!? Are you, *gasp* are you a mermaid?!"

Letting out a screech of surprise, you whirled around to examine the skeleton who had decided to sneak up on you. Nodding hesitantly you contemplated how he had found your secret place in Waterfall. He started jumping up and down, practically vibrating.

"This is so amazing! I've seen pictures of mermaids all over the place but I've never actually seen one before, oh jeez!" This boy is refreshing. No-one is this excited about anything so, seeing him throwing his arms up and running in a little circle was adorable. Instead of diving back into the water like you should of done, you stayed if he was this happy to see you then how would he react if you tried to get away from him? It would break his little heart!

"How did you find this place?" Sans stops and his face slowly turns raspberry blue. He itches the bone just above his adorable gloves.

"I kinda got lost and found you by accident..." Bursting out laughing embarrassed him even more but you couldn't help it, he was so mind numbingly cute that it hurt! Falling back to little giggles, you smiled at him wholeheartedly. Your hand retreats from your mouth and is extended towards the little blue boy. He quickly shakes your hand ecstatically.

"I am the great Sans!"

"Well, the great Sans, I'm ________."

"_______? That's so pretty!"

"Oh, thank you, Sans is quite a refined name!" Sans jabs his thumb to his chest and grins.

"I know!"
