Papyrus: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

Me: Well, now you do... *sits down at my desk* By the way, cooked up your spaghetti for me please.

Papyrus: *gasp* THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL MAKE SPAGHETTI! NYEH HEH HEH HEH!!! *runs out*

Me: Good thing he's out of the office. *sigh* Well, time to get back into business *turned on my computer.

Yo what's up Buddies! I kinda of skip the previous part because of the 'Bonus'. I hope you guys enjoy, (if not, sorry about that but you know the rules. VOTE can unlock the 'Bonus' Chapters). Well, aside from the 'special', we'll return back to the 'Waterfall' Chapter. So I hope you enjoy this~

Previously on Undertale- The Story of Determination...

Frisk walked back into Waterfall where she saw Papyrus meeting with a armoured monster named Undyne.

Despite her being so nervously, she was nearly spotted.

Later on, Monster Kid came along talking about Undyne 'being the coolest.'

After exploring and solving the Bridge Puzzle, she was spotted again but Undyne nearly piercing her body.

Hiding the grass didn't help... but Monster Kid saved her but getting himself pitched in the face.

Finally, she rested at the 'save point'...

Frisk's P.O.V

I woke up from my long sleep and sat up slowly. I rub my tired eyes and looked around. That armoured monster Undyne didn't show up and killed me yet, and as for me - I feel relief. I put my sweater back on and stand myself up, brushing the sand of me. I walked on ahead and in the distance, I saw Sans setting up a telescope. He was adjusting the lens to make sure it points directly at the ceiling.

"Hey Sans,"  I greeted once I approached him. He screamed a bit and turned to see me. I was laughing so hard on that, I literally 'jumped' his bones...

"Oh, hey Frisk, nice of you to stop by." He replied, twisting the screws to hold the telescope.

"Thanks, whatcha doin' with that telescope?" I asked curiously.

"I'm thinking about getting into the telescope business." He answered, finally finished with the telescope. "It's normally 50000G to use this premium telescope..." I gawked at him. (A/N: 50000G, what the hell?!) He saw my reaction and laughed a bit. He placed his hand under my chin to close my gaping mouth and said, "But... since I know you, you can use it for free. Howzabout it?" He gave me a wink.

"Okay..." I took a look through the telescope, but all I see is red everywhere, what's up with this telescope? I pulled back and look at him, "I don't see-" I stopped to see Sans falling on the ground, holding his stomach and laughing his head off. "What's so funny?"

"You aren't satisfied?" He asked, trying to breathe from his laughter.

"No."

"Don't worry, I'll give you a full refund." He snickered, but still giggling.

"Care to explain why are you laughing so hard?" I asked, still confused about his laughter.

"This." He took out a hand mirror and show it to me. I looked at my relfection and saw a red circle around my right eye. 

"Very funny, Sans." I giggled, wiping the mark off my eye.

"But still, you are cute~" He teased.

"Okay, okay, we'll soft talk later but I need to get going now, bye." I said quickly, and left him. Sans just smiled at me as he continued his business. I walked into another room and... guess who? The Nice Cream Guy! His motion went back to the same mood he was before.

"I relocated my store, but there are still no customers..." He mumbled to himself again, and he saw me again, he went to his happy mood. "Fortunately, I've thought of a solution!! Punch cards!!"

"Punch cards?" I asked.

"Every time you buy a Nice Cream, you can take a punch card from the box. If you have 3 cards, you can trade them for a free Nice Cream! They're sure to get the customers to come back!" He explained, his smile widen with his new idea. "Anyway kid, wanna a Nice Cream? Now just 25G!"

I took out my moneybag and check the amount of gold I got, 102G. I took 75G out and handed them over, "I want three..."

"Super!" He took my gold and brought out three Nice Cream from the esky, "Here you go." I took the three frozen treats, "Your Card's in the box!"

"Okay." I walked over to the box on the other side and opened up the lid. Inside were two bugs paying a 3-card game. The bugs held the cards for me, I took the three Punch Cards from it and walked back to the Nice Cream Guy.

"Great! You got the three Punch Cards! You know that means, you get a free Nice Cream!" He shouted, taking the Punch Cards and give me the fourth Nice Cream.

You got a Nice Cream. 

"Thank you so much, kid. Come back later." He said, as I leave the room with four Nice Creams - talk about Sweet Frozen Heaven. Well, since these won't melt, I put them away in my inventory and walked along until I meet a cream-puff monster.

"What's a star? Can you touch it? Can you eat it? Can you kill it?..." It looked around cluelessly until it saw me, "Are you a star?"

"The answer to all your questions about stars is... no." I answered.

I walked deeper into the marsh until I saw a glowing light blue river and lakes, it looks like a lunar swamp in space. Firefiles flying around the air flashing their glowing abdomen and these plants that look like 'water sausages'. There are some Echo Flowers in the area and some lily pads. I wish that me and Sans can take a walk in this marsh, it's very beautiful to admire this place. I bent down on each Echo Flower.

'So? Don't you have any wishes to make?' The first flower whisper, the sound of a young boy monster.

'... hmmm, just one, but... It's kind of stupid.' The second flower replied, the sound of a young girl.

'These two sounds like they're best friends...' I thought when I heard a phone ring and I picked up the phone.

"HELLO! THIS IS PAPYRUS!!!" The loud voice boomed, "REMEMBER WHEN I ASKED YOU ABOUT CLOTHES?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"WELL, THE FRIEND WHO WANTED TO KNOW... HER OPINION OF YOU IS VERY... MURDERY." He replied, "BUT I BET YOU KNEW THAT ALREADY! AND BECAUSE YOU KNEW THAT... I TOLD HER WHAT YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE WEARING! A RIBBON! BECAUSE I KNEW, OF COURSE... AFTER SUCH A SUSPICIOUS QUESTION... YOU WOULD OBVIOUSLY CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES! YOU'RE SUCH A SMART COOKIE! THIS WAY YOU'RE SAFE AND I DIDN'T LIE!!! NO BETRAYAL ANYWHERE!!! BEING FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE IS EASY!!!"

"He obviously keeps pointing out about this ribbon in my hair." I sighed, adjusting the ribbon a bit to make sure it does droop. I put away my phone and continued on until I saw another Echo Flower. I bent to listen one, it started to sound like a conversation.

'Don't say that! Come on, I promise I won't laugh.' The third flower whispered which had the young boy monster voice in it.

I drew back a bit and frowned in confusion, "He must be talking to someone about the wish." I stood up and walked pass a sign. I approached it and read it.

'The power to take their SOULS. This is the power that the humans feared.'

'More information about the War of Humans and Monsters' I thought. I came to an empty area with only a dark blue lake. I looked around - I saw no monsters here. I cautiously walked while looking and then a yellow tentacle shot up from underwater. I got scared and walked faster until about three of them show up and stopped when I saw a large shadow appeared underneath. It rose up to resembled a large monster with an onion-shaped head. It open its eyes and made a kawaii face.

"Hey... there... Noticed you were... Here..." It said, and made a derp face. "I'm Onionsan! Onionsan, y'hear!"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Frisk." I greeted back before walking along as Onionsan followed me.

"You're visiting Waterfall, huh! It's great here, huh! You love it, huh!"

"Yeah." I nodded.

Its face went back into kawaii, "Yeah! Me, too! It's my Big Favourite."

As we walked together, Onionsan make a gloomy face and hid in the water with its face. "Even though, the water's getting shallow here... I, have to sit down all the time, but..." It lifts it face with the derp face, "He-hey! That's OK! It beats moving to the city! And living in a crowded aquarium!" It made like he looked to the side, "Like all my friends did!"

"That's nice..." I manage to say.

Onionsan dipped its face in the water with a gloom. "And the aquanium's full, a-anyway, so, even if I wanted to, I..." It shot back with a derp face, "That's okay though, y' hear! Undyne's gonna fix everything, y' hear! I'm gonna get out of here and live in the ocean! Y, hear!"

'And I hope that Undyne doesn't kill me before I could get there...' I thought, as I reached the end of the room.

"Hey... there... That's the end of this room." It said, before looking at me, "I'll see you around!" It raised its tentacle and waved goodbye, "Have a good time! In Waterfallllllllllllllllll!" It dipped itself back down into the water. I waved goodbye and walked to a room where I heard a sweet melody in the air.

"What was that?" I asked myself and looked around until I spotted a monster hiding. It look like a siren or a mermaid.

Shyren hides in the corner but somehow encounters you anyway.

CHECK - SHYREN - ATK 7  DEF 2 - Tone deaf. She's too ashamed to sing her deadly song.

".... .... toot ...." Shyren sang, letting out one note.

Shyren pretends to be a pop idol.

I smiled and thought of a song,"Hmm-hm-hm-hm-hm-hmm" I hummed a random melody tune. Shyren heard me and turned around to show her face, it's a fish head with wet hair. She let out a smile.

You hum a funky tune. Shyren follows your melody.

"si re, si re, si mi, si mi." She sang the notes that resembles the notes like you found in a piano. She sings out fast notes and finally she was singing.

Shyren seems much more comfortable singing along.

"Bravo Shyren." I clapped my hands and Shyren looked away shyly. She was very happy.

Shyren waved goodbye and swam deep into the marsh. I smiled a little and found a sign that read.

'The northern room hides a great treasure.'

"What sort of treasure will that be?" I found a path and walked in to found a piano on the left side and the sign on the right. I read the sign.

'A haunting song echoes down the corridor... Won't you play along? Only the first 8 are fine.'

"8 notes to play a song?" I glanced at the piano and back to the sign. "I need to some sort of music box or something." I walked out the room and walked the corridor, more signs stuck along the wall. I read them.

Sign 1 - This power has no counter. Indeed, a human cannot take a monster's SOUL. When a monster dies, its SOUL disappears. And an incredible power would be needed to take the SOUL of a living monster.

"That true? I only spared them, not killed them." I said, before moving onto the next one.

Sign 2 - There is only one exception. The SOUL of a special species of monster called a "Boss Monster". A Boss Monster's SOUL is strong enough to persist after death... If only for a few moments. A human could absorb this SOUL. But this has never happened. And now it never will.

"This description... it talks about if I absorb their souls, I get stronger... but that would've mean that I gain EXP. But I mustn't, my heart stays determined and I would not kill anyone nor my friends like Sans and Papyrus." I continued and found a statue being poured by the droplets from the ceiling. I found this statue looks sad and I need to do something to help. I saw a sign with a trash can full with umbrellas. The signs says...

Please take one.

I took an umbrella and put it up. This seems dry and could be perfect for the statue. I walked back and placed the umbrella in the hole between the hands. I took a step back and I heard a music box being played, making musical notes... I count them... there are 8 notes. The notes for the piano to unlock the treasure! I rushed back to the room where the piano is. I placed my fingers on the keys and pressed the notes.

After I finished the song, the door magically appeared on the wall - I did it! I walked through the door and found the treasure. It was placed on the pedestal and it look like a red sphere - a legendary artefact. I was about to when... a dog came out of my pocket? The dog barked and took the artefact of the pedestal before floating off... I was dumbfounded.

"THE HELL?!" I screamed with the irk mark behind my head. "I CAME ALL THIS WAY TO SOLVE THIS MUSIC PUZZLE WITH NOTES AND THEN THIS STUPID DOG CAME OUT TO TAKE THE ARTEFACT WAS WAITING FOR?!!" I gripped my hair and growled in frustration - hold on, I need to calm down...

After I calm down, I stood up and found something left behind, it's Dog Residue. I decided to take this with me and once I found that dog - it's snapping in the neck time!

I took another umbrella and put it up again because right now, it's raining. I loved the times when I walked in the rain, it's fun to play in the puddles and splash around but sadly it gets lonely without friends. As I walked, I spotted Monster Kid leaning against the wall, he saw me and excitedly ran up to me.

"Yo, you got an umbrella? Awesome!" He walked beside me and smiled, "Let's go!"

We both walked together in the rain, that's the first time I have a 'friend' to tag along with me.

"Man, Undyne is soooooooo cool. She beats up bad guys and NEVER loses. If I was a human, I would wet the bed every night... knowing she was gonna beat me up! Ha ha." He told me about this Undyne thing again. He rambles on and stop to look at the Echo Flower. "So, one time. We had a school project where we had to take care of a flower. The king - we had to call him 'Mr. Dreemurr; - volunteered to donate his own flowers. He ended up coming to school and teaching the class about responsibility and stuff. That got me thinking..." He got excited with stars in his eyes, "YO! How COOL would it be if UNDYNE came to school!? She could beat up ALL the teachers!!"

"That... sounds cool." I said with a hint of stutter.

"Ummm, maybe she wouldn't beat up the teachers... She's too cool to ever hurt an innocent person!"

We walked on for miles until when I look on my left, I saw an enormous castle in a far away distance.

"Is that a castle?" I asked. Monster Kid stopped and look at the building too.

"Yep, 'Mr. Dreemurr' lives in that castle as King.' He answered.

We reached at the end and I close up the umbrella and put it back in the trash can. I saw him going up against the wall where there's another path up there.

"Yo, this ledge is way too steep..." He said, looking up and saw how tall it was. After staring, he got an idea, "Yo, you wanna see Undyne, right...?"

"Yeah." I answered.

"Alright, you can climb on my shoulders, that way you can get to the top of this ledge." He turned around and goes onto his knees. I walked up behind him and set one foot on his shoulder, and then the other before pulling myself up. I start to wobble a bit and but I manage to grab on the ledge and pulled myself up. I turned down to him and he look up, "Yo, you go on ahead. Don't worry about me. I always find a way to get through!" He turned to ran away and... he faceplanted again. I walked ahead and saw more signs about 'War of Humans and Monsters' 

Sign 1 - The humans, afraid of our power, declared war on us. They attacked suddenly, and without mercy.

Sign 2 - In the end, it could hardly be called a war. United, the humans were too powerful, and us monsters, too weak. Not a single SOUL was taken, and countless monsters were turned to dust.

(The serene sound of a distant music box... It fills you with determination.)

I came across what look like a crazy way bridge with many paths to take.

'I have a very bad feeling about this...' I thought, slowly and cautiously as I took step by step. 'Undyne is about to show up at any moment...' I stopped when I saw a blue circle on the ground, and then another, another and another... about eleven appeared around me and spears shot up from the circles. I screamed as the spears disappeared.

"I FOUND YOU, HUMAN!" The monster Undyne appeared from the shadows.

I break it into a chase. I ran as fast as I could and dodged the circle that were placed at and spears came up. I was slipping each time because the spears came up really fast. I sped up and saw the large area and made crazy run in different direction to avoid the spears. I saw the narrow bridge and ran across it, hopefully I lost that monster. Or a bad idea. I saw the end and skid myself into a halt. There's no way for me to run now. I turned back to run the way I came but it's too late...

"I CAUGHT YOU NOW, HUMAN!" Undyne snarled, walking towards me but stop by a metre away. "THERE'S NO WAY YOU CAN GET AWAY THIS TIME." I gulped nervously and my legs are shaking, "TIME FOR YOU TO DIE!" She raised her hand to summon three spears and, at the command, she lowered her hand downward, causing the spears to slice through the bridge. The bridge began to crack and now... I fell into the darkness screaming...

It sounds like it came from over here...

Oh! You've fallen down, haven't you...

I woke up with a start as I shot myself up from my lying position. I was panting and my eyes were widened from that dream... I placed my hand against my forehead and wipe the sweat off.

'Yikes... it's just a dream...' I thought. I looked down and saw a bed of golden flowers, 'Hey, these are the same flowers I fell on... back from the RUINS.' I got up and then I fell down on something wet. I sat up and saw water everywhere, I stand up again and walked whatever this  place leads me.

(The Waterfall here seems to flow from the ceiling of the cavern... Occasionally, a piece of trash will flow through... and fall into the bottomless abyss below. Viewing this endless cycle of worthless garbage... It fills you with determination.)

"Garbage are everywhere... is this where the rubbish dump is?" I asked, looking through the junk and nothing but a rusky old bike with a wheezy horn, an old computer desktop and a DVD case of an anime... except there is a cooler. I walked over and opened the lid, inside were a couple of freeze-dried space food bars.

"Sweet, more food." I said, pocketing some food away and walk passed an regular training dummy. I stare into the eyes for a moment... and nothing. I began to walk away... until I heard growling. I slowly turned back around and saw the dummy moving, changing the colour from white to orange and its eyes became real angry eyes. It dove underwater and came up in front of me.

"Hahaha... Too intimidated to fight me, huh?!" The orange dummy mocked, "I am a ghost that lives inside a DUMMY. My cousin used to live inside a Dummy, too. Until..." He got serious and yelled out with murder, "YOU CAME ALONG! When you talked to them, they thought they were in for a nice chat... But the things you SAID...! Horrible. Shocking!  UNBELIEVEABLE! It spooked them right out of their dummy." He glared at me, "HUMAN! I'll scare your SOUL out of your body!" He boiled himself red hot.

Mad Dummy blocks the way!

CHECK - MAD DUMMY - ATK 7  DEF -40 - Because they're a ghost, physical attacks will fail.

"Futile. Futile. FUTILE!" He yelled, as his dummies came out from the dumpsters and shoot out their attacks at me. I dodged them and when all of them lined up and shoot, I duck and the attacks were blasted into the Mad Dummy.

"OWWWW, you DUMMIES!! Watch where you're aiming your MAGIC attacks!" He shouted, but stopped... he give away the solution to beat him. "... Hey! You! Forget I said anything about MAGIC!!!"

Mad Dummy is looking nervous.

"So, do you want a talk something?"

You talk to the DUMMY... It doesn't seem much for conversation. No one is happy with this.

"I'll defeat you and take your SOUL!" He yelled again. His dummies were attacking me again, and since I know his weakness, I dodged the magic and once they lined up to prepare all in one attack, I stood in front of Mad Dummy and when the magic aims at me, I dropped to the floor and the magic hit him. He growled and looks at the mirror in the garbage.

Mad Dummy glares into a mirror, then turns to you with the same expression.

"I'll use your SOUL to cross the barrier!" He babbled, order his dummies to attack again. But I use the same method again, he took some serious damage and begins to move around. "I'll stand in the window of a fancy store!" Basically, his dummies got no clue about why are they shooting him instead of me.

Mad Dummy is bossing around its bullets.

"THEN EVERYTHING I WANT WILL BE MINE!" He exclaimed, laughing menacingly. But he was distracted because I took the dummies' aim at him. He cried out and cotton stuffings fell out from his body.

Mad Dummy is getting cotton all over the dialogue box.

"Huh? Yeah, I guess that'll avenge my cousin." He said, moving around quickly making the aim hard for me. The red dummies appeared and dashed towards, good thing I drop it to the water. I came back and here comes the magic, I looked behind me and ducked which causes the magic to hit Mad Dummy.

"What was their name again...?" He asked.

"Who? Your cousin?" I questioned.

"What. Whatever! WHATEVER!" He shouted, moving around so much that he's out of control. "Fool. Foolish! FOOLISH! Pitiful. Pitiful! PITIFUL! Feeble. Feeble! FEEBLE!" This workout is starting to pay off, he's getting hit by his dummies. He got mad and shouted, "HEY GUYS!" All his little dummies appeared around him, "Dummies. Dummies! DUMMIES! Remember how I said NOT to shoot at me?" All his dummies looked at each other and nodded at him. "Well... FAILURES! YOU'RE FIRED! YOU'RE ALL BEING REPLACED!!!" The wide-eyed dummies quickly ran off for cover. "Hahaha. Hahaha! HAHAHA! Now you'll see my true power: Relying on people that aren't garbage!"

Mechanical whirrs fill the room.

"What was that?" I asked.

"DUMMY BOTS! MAGIC MISSLE!" He shouted, as mechanical dummies appeared from behind the garbage and launch missiles at me, better hope it's not homing missiles.

"Oh snap, they are!" I screeched and redirect the missiles back at the Mad Dummy. He was blown back and hit the ground.

Mad Dummy is bossing around its bullets.

"DUMMY BOTS! TRY AGAIN!" He ordered, and the bots launched another. This is mix between easy and hard at the same time. He got hit by two missiles while the rest exploded against the walls.

Mad Dummy is doing an armless ska dance.

"I need some recovery..." I searched through my pocket and pulled out a Nice Cream. I ate it and gain some health. The Mad Dummy looked pissed off.

"DUMMY BOTS! You're awful???" He shouted, and the bots launch another one but this time the aim was better... but not for long, despite I was dipping below the water, the missiles flew over and hit the new target... him.

"DUMMY BOTS! FINAL ATTACK!" He exclaimed, and then at last the bots surrounded me in a circle formation. They launched their final missile and I got an idea oh how to do this. I jumped up and grabbed the Mad Dummy by the pole. "What are you doing?!" he asked, glaring down at me quizically. 

"Take my place!" I answered, before letting go and when he looked up, he gasped as the missiles came towards him and exploded. He screamed in pain and fell on the ground. "N...no way! These guys are even WORSE than the other guys!" He glared back at me, "Who cares. Who cares! WHO CARES!! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS!!!" (A/N: That's harsh, man.) He made a knife appeared, "I'VE GOT KNIVES!!!" He threw the knife at me and duck down so it missed me. Mad Dummy gawked and looked around himself. "I'm... out of knives." He got insane and his body went rollercoaster, "BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER!!! YOU CAN'T HURT ME AND I CAN'T HURT YOU! YOU'LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME... Forever. Forever! FOREVER!!!!" Then he went bizarre and laughed like a maniac, "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Suddenly, something rained down on him and Mad Dummy stopped manically and winced. "Wh... What the heck is this!?" I looked up and saw rain? from the ceiling, "Ergh! Acid rain!?!" He looked up and then back at me, "Oh, FORGET IT! I'm outta here!" He floats himself up and soars away from here. I looked back up and saw a familiar ghost descending from hiding.

"Napstablook!" I cried out with joy and approach the ghost.

"... sorry, I interrupted you, didn't I?" He asked ghostly.

"Not exactly..." I replied.

"As soon as I came over, your friend immediately left..." He looked down, "Oh no... you guys looked like you were having fun..." He avoid the eye contact from me, "Oh no... I just wanted to say hi..." He sniffled a bit, "Oh no........................" He slowly fade him until he disappeared.

"Wait, Napstablook!" I quickly called out, "Don't go please..."

The little ghost reappeared and sighed, "Well... I'm going to head home now... oh... um... feel free to 'come with' if you want... but no pressure... I understand if you're busy..."

"Napsta-" I started.

"It's fine... no worries... just thought i'd offer..." He cut off, and floats away to his house.

"Wait for me!" I shouted, quickly follow him and he was waiting for me.

"Hey... my house is up here... In case you want to see... or in case you don't..." He floats himself towards the middle path. I sighed but I smile a little.
