Chapter 1 - Summer Time
What's up Buddies! Here I am and I am so sorry, I've been absent with a lot of plans going on. To tell you what's been happening is technically looking for a job. That's right, looking for a job because I need to start living. As much you want more chapters, my life is not going easy on me because *holds up a graph* the time has fallen which means my writing chapters is stretched out long. So here's the first chapter, I hope you enjoy this~

"Charry, you ready yet?" Asriel asked, waiting outside of Chara's room.
"Yeah, just give me a minute..." She replied from behind the door as she struggles to put on her flats that Toriel gave her for her birthday. When she steps out, she adjusts the lime hoodie vest that was worn over her black bikini top. She also had black board shorts with bright green designs on the sides and her black cap.
"You looked awesome!" He complimented.
"Thanks, you look pretty cool." She commented. Asriel has grown a bit taller and his horns somewhat curved back like his dad. He wore a green open shirt revealing his toned body, a pair of dark blue shorts with palm trees on the sides. On his head was a pair of swimming goggles.
"Asriel, Chara, are you two ready?" Toriel called from downstairs.
"We're coming." They answered in unison, collecting their beach bag and went downstairs to meet up with the others.
"Took you long enough, sis."
Chara frowned in annoyance playfully at her sister. Frisk has become a very beautiful woman and now she's twenty years old. Her hair was in a ponytail with her blue cap on her head. She wore a blue vest over her black bikini, dark purple shorts, and black flip-flops.
"I'm surprised your boyfriend was taking a snooze," She joked.
Now it was Frisk's turn to frown at her in annoyance. Sitting next to her was Sans, resting his skull on his hand with his elbow propped up on the armrest. He was wearing his trademark blue hoodie without his t-shirt, showing off his ribcage, his usual basketball shorts and black flip-flops.
"He got bored of waiting, that's what." She retorted, slouching herself against the couch.
The conservation was cut short when Toriel and Asgore entered the living room, carrying the beach bags and picnic basket. Asgore was dressed in his pink Hawaiian shirt and blue board shorts and Toriel wore a purple sundress with blue flower designs underneath her dark purple bikini and a wide-brimmed hat.
"Well, I'm guessing that everyone's ready," He spoke calmly.
"INDEED!" A loud voice boomed as Papyrus enters the living room, "THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A TRIP TO THE BEACH! HOW EXCITING!"
"Wait a minute, where's Astell and Flowey?" Asriel asked, noticing his little baby sister was missing.
"Over there," Toriel nudged her head over the little baby cage where Flowey and Astell were playing with the blocks together. Flowey stacks the last block on top of the tower and in the end, Astell happily knocks the tower down, giggling.
"Are we all ready to go?" Asgore asked as everyone nodded in agreement. "Good, let's take Mettaton's limo, he will be waiting for us outside," Everyone gathers up their bags and left the house. Toriel asked Frisk to carry the picnic basket while she gathers up Astell and Flowey into a baby carrier. When they got outside, they spotted the slick black limousine parking beside the pavement on the road. From the window that was winding down, Mettaton waved to them at the driver's seat, also Undyne and Alphys were there too.
"Heya punks, ready to head for the beach?" Undyne asked from the passenger seat.
"YOU KNOW IT UNDYNE! IT'S GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!" Papyrus agreed excitedly.
"Oh hello, Papy-dear~!" Mettaton greeted, waving to his beloved boyfriend.
"HELLO METTATON! YOU'RE LOOKING FANTASTIC TODAY!" He admired at the clothing his robotic boyfriend was wearing. He was wearing a hot pink low-cut shirt with black daisy dukes and his usual boots. On his head was a pair of star-shaped sunglasses.
"Thank you, Papy~"
Everyone aboard the limousine and sat down next to their loved ones. Toriel and Asgore sat at the back while Undyne, Alphys, Asriel and Chara sat on the left side and Sans and Frisk sat on the right side. Flowey was held by Asgore and Toriel cradles Astell. Papyrus sat in the front with Mettaton.
(A/N: This is what I picture the inside of Mettaton's limousine)
"Alright darlings, buckle up!" Mettaton announced through the speaker from behind the little window. "Next stop: The beach!"
The ride to the beach was pretty long so they decided to talk to past the hour. Frisk gazed at the window, watching the buildings brushing past and cars racing across the road on the opposite side of them. She fidgeted her fingers and her mind wandered. It's quite a nice day though... warm sun, cool breeze and few fluffy white clouds hovering in the air. She took a glance at Chara as she lays her head snuggly against Asriel's shoulder who he raised his hand to comb through her brown hair lovingly. Those two were so close... it's almost like they were made for each other. Asriel, prince of the Dreemurr, who falls in love with his best friend who treated him like a sibling. Chara loved him too because he was only one who she had fun with as much he had fun with her. Due to their death they shared, it was the moment that they are both there for each other no matter what.
"Hey babe, whatcha thinkin' about?" Sans asked suddenly that made Frisk brought back to reality when she heard her skeleton boyfriend called her.
"Oh, sorry Sans. I kinda spaced out for a moment..." She told him embarrassingly.
"Well, looks like to me you're out of this world." He teased, nudging her on the side with his elbow.
"Oh, stop it you." She giggled, as she rested her head on his shoulder and intertwine her fingers with his.
"Well, here we are, darling~" Mettaton announced as he pulled up from the driveway and parked the limousine.
"Alright, gather your things and let's go," Asgore said, as everyone climbed out of the limo with their bags and takes in the view around them.
The beach was packed with lots of people, and I mean, LOTS of people and monsters too. There are beach chairs with umbrellas, towels and picnic baskets, volleyball nets, and patio tables.
"WHOA-WEE!" Papyrus exclaimed, poking his head out of the window with excitement, "SO THIS IS THE BEACH, IT'S SO AMAZING. SUNSHINE AND WATER, THIS IS GOING TO BE SO FUN!"
"Say Papyrus, how about a challenge to see who can to get the ocean the fastest?" Undyne asked.
"YOU BET I AM." Papyrus challenged, determination filled inside his small pupils. "LET'S GO!" Within an instant, he dropped his stuff on the ground and ran off at high speed.
"HEY, NO FAIR PAPYRUS!" Undyne shouted, shoving her bag in Alphys' arms and took off after the tall skeleton.
"Oh dear..." Alphys sighed, watching her girlfriend leave her to chase after Papyrus.
"It's okay, Alphys." Frisk assured, patting her shoulder "I'm sure she'll come back after her challenge."
"I know, she got so worked up somehow," Alphys muttered, carrying the bags before following the others towards the beach.
Once everyone sets foot on the beach, Asgore began to survey the area for the perfect spot to set up the umbrella and unfold his chair. Toriel soon joined him to lay out the picnic blanket, setting down the carrier before lifting Astell and Flowey out to place them on the picnic blanket.
"Is this the first time you been to the beach?" She asked sweetly.
"Gah!" Astell said happily.
"Yep, this is probably my first time, with a lot of sand." Flowey agreed.
"Good, you two need to have some sunscreen, the weather may be nice but it can cause a bit of sunburn and you wouldn't want that now, would you?" Toriel reached into her bag and pulled out a bottle of sunscreen. She pops the cap off and applied some on her hand before smearing them on Astell and Flowey.
"Asriel, I need some help with my back," Chara asked, handing him the sunscreen she had on her hand and turned around to offer her back.
"Sure." Asriel set down his backpack and took the bottle before applying some on her back. While doing so, he took the moment to look over at Chara's body. He noticed a few scars on her skin, barely enough to see them visible. He thought perhaps these scars happened to the people on the surface or maybe underground... "There, all done."
Chara turned around to face him and smiled, "Thanks Azzy,"
"So you're ready to go?" He offered his hand to her.
"Yep, let's go." She took it and followed him to the water where Undyne and Papyrus are wrestling each other.
Frisk's P.O.V
I sat down on my beach towel with a bottle of tanning oil in my hand. My skin looks like a little pale so I thought that using this stuff will help change my skin tone back into its natural colour.
"Need help?"
I looked up above me and saw Sans leaning over my head with sunglasses taped to his skull.
"Sure, can you put this on my back?" I asked kindly, giving him the bottle of tanning oil.
"Tanning Oil?" He raised a non-existent eyebrow at me.
"Yeah, my skin is a little pale so I thought maybe I could use this to help get my natural colour back," I explained, staring down at my arm where the colour started to fade.
"Okay." He took the bottle and sat down beside me as I adjust my position to lay down on my stomach. Sans squirted the gold substance onto my back which I squealed at the coldness. He placed the bottle down and used his bony hands to rub the substance all over me. The feeling of his hands on my back quite nice actually, I lowered my head down to rest on my forearms and relaxed. After two minutes, I felt his hinds withdrawn from my back.
"There you go, all done." He said.
"Thank you Sans." I thanked him.
"You're welcome, babe." He leaned over to kiss my head before we heard Papyrus calling him aloud for a wrestling match with Undyne, Alphys, Chara, and Asriel. Sans yelled 'coming' to him before he got up from the spot and walked over to them.
I've been in the sun for quite a while and I sat up to look at my body, my skin has started to tan into a nice tan-beige color. I glanced over my shoulder to see in a few meters away from them was Mettaton lounging in his hot pink summer chair with a small patio table and a big umbrella over him, holding a tall glass of pink lemonade soda. In the water was Undyne and Alphys having a wrestling match with Chara and Asriel while Papyrus and Sans cheer them on. They're sure having a lot of fun, better hope that Sans doesn't get hit on impact despite having 1 HP. I got up from the spot and decided to check on Toriel and Asgore. As I got there, Toriel and Asgore were happily talking amongst themselves as Astell and Flowey played in the sand, making small sandcastles.
"Oh, howdy Frisk." Asgore greeted me.
"Hey Dad, how're things going?" I replied, taking a seat on the picnic blanket.
"Nothing much, Tori and I just a few conservations." He replied, taking a sip from his glass of golden flower iced tea.
"Indeed, he told me about opening a flower shop in town which I think was a wonderful idea. I hardly saw people and monsters buying flowers before, maybe perhaps they prefer some from the garden."
"Indeed." Asgore agreed. "I still have plenty of flower seeds which will grow into many flowers."
"By the way, I just remember something..."
"Hmm?"
"Recently, Alphys told me about one particular student she met at school. If I remember her name correctly, her name is Susie."
"Susie?" I raised my eyebrow with interest.
"Yes, she attended the school last year because she has difficulty with her education. Every day, I noticed she became lonesome because she doesn't have any friends, she didn't bother to say hello or perhaps she's just too shy to say." She explained, her tone became soft at the last part.
I thought about it. Susie, the student at the school, hardly made any friends? But how did she-
"WE'RE BACK!" Papyrus screamed, holding his hand as he approaches towards us as Undyne, Alphys, Asriel, Chara and Sans following from behind. "AND GUESS WHAT? I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, BECAME THE CHAMPION IN WRESTLING!"
"What?! No way Papyrus, you can't be that strong, I beat like fifty times in our private one-on-one training remember?" Undyne pointed out.
"Heh, but he did it better than you," Sans assured jokingly with a casual wink.
"Hmph, in that case," Undyne huffed, turning her head away in disappointment.
"Oh my, it would appear that it's already lunchtime. I think we should start eating." Toriel suggested, looking at the time on Asgore's watch. Everyone agreed and took their seat on the picnic blanket. She took out a platter of sandwiches, a plate of chocolate muffins, a butterscotch-cinnamon pie, and Papyrus's cooked spaghetti.
"Man, these sandwiches are great," Asriel commented, chewing on a piece of the sandwich.
"Same goes for the chocolate muffins," Chara added, munching on the muffin whole.
"MY SPECTULAR SPAGHETTI IS TASTES BETTER AS IT GETS THANKS TO FRISK WHO TAUGHT ME HOW TO COOK IT HER WAY!" Papyrus smiled, taking a big mouthful of spaghetti into his mouth, chewing loudly.
"I think Tori's pie is the best one of all." Frisk declared, eating a piece of the pie.
"Why thank you, my child." Toriel smiled, feeding pureed pumpkin to Astell with a baby spoon.
"Say, this is the best day we had today." Sans commented, taking a sip from his ketchup.
"I-I agreed. There's so much life on the surface, humans and monsters are finally together and so many animes to watch." Alphys said, beaming her goofy smile.
"Heh, yeah..." And then, Undyne remember something, "Oh, by the way, I got a job at the police station today."
"Really?" I gasped.
"Yeah, thanks to the training and doing some tests, I've passed and got my own badge, ranked as Monster Cop."
"That's great news, Undyne," Asgore replied, "I think my training with you in your youth must have improved your leadership and loyalty to the human's community.
"Yeah, I have to be mindful of my spears though, I broke the wall when I was practicing in weaponry/magic use," Undyne said, sweatdropping.
"Welp, I guess you could say you broke the fourth wall." Sans joked, making Toriel and I burst into laughter.
"OH MY GOD!! NO!!!" Papyrus screamed.
"I'll pummel you, bonehead!" Undyne threatened, summoning a spear into her hand.
"Oh dear..." Asgore sighed, sipping his tea as everyone else enjoys their lunch.
Normal P.O.V
As the sun began to set, everyone else began to pack up in the limo while Frisk takes the time to look at the horizon where the sun takes the sea. The sight was breathtaking, almost like as if to see a drawn painting come life.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Sans asked, standing beside her to stare at the horizon too.
"Yeah, it's just like the time when we freed from the barrier." Frisk agreed, feeling the cool breeze blowing against her hair softly.
"Can I ask you something?" He asked.
"Of course,"
"Well, I have to fix the time machine again to get Gaster back, but I'm just a little concern ever since you defeated that wrath Demise." He explained, turning to her "You think he's not going to come back if you went back in time through the time machine to get Gaster back?"
Frisk stared at the ocean for a moment. From what he explained about time and space in his secret workshop, it seems rather difficult to get Gaster back without the summoning of Demise back into the real world. The last time she can recall, the machine broke after she rescued Gaster but could it be the same thing happening if she would do it again? Is it possible that Demise was living in the time zone where Gaster was? Could he still be existed again?
"Don't think too much about it, Frisky" Sans assured, as if he had read her mind, "If Demise weren't returned to this world, he would be locked up somewhere in another time zone. But the two things we only cared about is my dad, Gaster and your sister, Chara."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Frisk sighed softly, "But we will try again if it means so much to have someone close to us."
"Thanks babe." Sans grinned, kissing her lips with his mouth.
"Hey Frisk! Sans! We're going!" Chara yelled.
"Okay!" Frisk called back, as she looked back at the skeleton. "Let's go then."
"Okay. I know a shortcut." He winked at her before grabbing her hand and clicked his fingers to teleport themselves close to the limo and got inside to drive the way home.
