Chapter 2 - New Home, New Adventure

In the Chat Room... (Btw, Toriel and Asgore have left early to get some Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie.)

Me: I love this picture right here. (The pic above) It's amazing.

Frisk: Wait a minute, why is Asriel in the bed with me? O.o

Me: I think you are... sharing the bed.

Asriel: Oh, that explains it...

Sans: *hint of jealousy*

Me: I smell jealousy...

Sans: *glares at me* I'm not jealous... I'm just... uncomfortable.

Asriel: You didn't mention that I do like someone other than Frisk...

Everyone: Who?

Asriel: It's a secret...

Third Person P.O.V

"Hey Tori and Asgore, how's the village?" Sans asked.

"It's great, the village is finished and there's plenty of houses for all the monsters to live here." Asgore replied, looking at the whole view. The village was finally built with different coloured houses and other variety of buildings. "There's Grillby's." He pointed at the familiar bar about 20 metres from the houses, "Muffet's Spider Bakery." He pointed another building which was a red building with purple outlines and a large yellow sign with lights and the title painted in black.

"And the new school." Toriel finished, pointing at the two-storey building with eight window panes on the front, two pillars on each side and a large black door with the Delta Rune symbol.

"Awesome, but does it mean that me and Asriel are going to enroll in this school?" Frisk asked.

Toriel giggled, "Actually, you don't have to, my child. You're all grown up and you're an ambassador." She placed her hand on my shoulder, "I'm only teaching young children... with the reading and writing."

"By the way, Frisk." Asgore began, turning to her "I have a special gift for you." He held up the gift wrapped in purple wrapping paper and tied with a yellow ribbon in his hands. "Here."

She took the gift from him and unwrapped it. Inside was a beautiful purple robe with the Delta Rune symbol in gold. Frisk held up the robe from the box and the rest of the material fell down more until it stops above the ground where she holds.

"Oh my... Asgore, it's beautiful." Toriel complimented.

"It is. I have prepared this robe just for someone to be the ambassador." Asgore explained. "It's all yours, Frisk."

"Thank you Asgore." Frisk thanked, only a little disappointed.

"No worries," Asgore replied and then caught on that look Frisk had in her eyes, "I understand that being the ambassador is hard work but I believe you can make peace between humans and monsters. However, we can help to support you so you're not working alone."

"Again, thank you."

"Well now, since everything is settled, let's head for our new homes." Toriel said, as everyone followed her to the new village. Once they arrived, she assured everyone to find a home to stay in. Toriel chose to stay in a yellow house with Frisk, Asriel and Asgore. Undyne stayed in blue house next to the laboratory where Alphys lives and Sans and Papyrus were living in a house that looks exactly the same as their home in Snowdin expect it's a little bigger with extra features. Sans snapped his fingers and all the boxes that he made them disappear, reappeared at their homes.

"Sans, I hope you don't mind, but could you take me to the RUINS so I could get my things?" Toriel asked. "And afterwards, we'll need to help with Asgore's too."

"Sure thing, Tori." Sans agreed, and turned to me "Hey Frisk, I'll be taking those two back to the Underground to get their stuffs packed up, you okay with yours?"

"Yep, and don't worry, I have Asriel here to help me with the unpacking." Frisk replied.

"Yeah, I can help her you know." Asriel nodded.

"Okay, I'll be back as soon everything is packed and moved over here, okay?" He went on.

"Okay."

"Alright, see ya." Sans lean down to kiss her forehead, "I love you."

"Love you too." She giggled, and kissed his forehead too. Sans walked over to Toriel and Asgore and teleport them back to the Underground. While they were gone, Asriel came up beside me with a playful smile.

"Come on Frisk, let's get unpacked." He said playfully.

"Okay." They both carried their boxes and head inside the yellow house. Inside the house, the walls were all painted dark blue with the furnitures that look the same as one in the RUINS and Asgore's castle. The floor were tiled with black-diamond marble tiles and a red carpet was blanketed over. The two adolescents went upstairs to the second floor when they saw three doors.

"Huh? Three doors? Why would be three doors here?" Asriel asked.

"I don't know, let's check it out." Frisk insisted as the two went to the left door and opened it. This room look rather big with a king-sized bed, I think you could say that this is probably going to be Asgore's room. The next room is painted blue with a queen sized bed and does looked familiar to me - this looks like Toriel's room. Finally, the two reached the third door and opened it. It was painted purple with a single double bed against the wall, a wardrobe and single lamp stand. Asriel stepped inside and looked out through the single window.

"Wow, this is amazing." He gasped.

"Yeah it is." Frisk agreed and stared at the bed in confusion, "Hold on, why is there a single double bed?"

"You don't think we're... sharing it?" Asriel was getting nervous, blushing a bit.

"Well, I guess so. But we could ask Mom to buy separate beds instead if this is uncomfortable for you." She suggested.

"Nah, I guess it's fine. Anyways, let's get unpacked." But before we could open up the boxes, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." She said, hurrying down the stairs and opened the door to see Papyrus.

"Oh, hey Papyrus. You need something?" She asked kindly.

"HELLO FRISK, AND YES, I HAVE CAME TO TELL YOU SOMETHING?"

"What is it?"

"WELL, DESPITE YOU AND MY BROTHER ARE TOGETHER NOW; THERE'S ONLY TWO ROOMS AND A BATHROOM UPSTAIRS AND-"

"There's a bathroom?" She questioned, not knowing that the house had a bathroom also.

"WELL, YEAH... I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT SINCE YOU STAYED OVER FROM SNOWDIN." He mumbled sheepishly, but shook it off, "BUT ANYWAY, YOU NEED TO SLEEP HIM IN HIS ROOM. SO I WONDERING IF YOU COULD MOVE IN WITH US?"

"I wish I could... but not yet. But, if you like... I could talk to Mum about it?" She suggested.

"REALLY?" Papyrus piped, eyes sparkling up with excitement.

"Of course, if she agrees, I would let you know and I'll have my stuff moved over." She nodded.

Papyrus suddenly picked her up and squeaked, "THANK YOU HUMAN, THANK YOU!"

"Not prob." She giggled.

"Hey Frisk, what's the hold up? Help me with the packing, would you?" Asriel shouted, from the bedroom.

"Coming." Frisk yelled back, and turned back to Papyrus, "I gonna go and help Asriel with the packing now, okay?"

"Okay, see you then." He farewelled as he turned around and left the house.

"Bye." She waved goodbye and shut the door before heading back upstairs to help Asriel with the unpacking.

(45 minutes later...)

"And one final touch... there. Perfect."

"Looks great." Frisk commented, admiring the bedroom fully decorated.

"I know. But uh... what are you and Papyrus talking downstairs?" He asked.

"Oh, well... Papyrus told me about me moving in with them but I told him that I can't." She explained. "I'm guessing that Sans would probably worried about me for some reason..."

"Was it the ambassador business?"

"Yeah." I sat myself on the bed and sighed, "It's going to keep me really busy and I don't have time to hang out with him and Papyrus."

Asriel sighed and walked over to sit beside her, "That's true, but you're the only one who brought us here. That's why Asgore gave you the choice become out ambassador, to make things right and create peace between humans and monsters."

"Yeah, I guess you're right..." She sighed, and run her hand through her hair.

After a few seconds of silence between the two, the door was knocked and then opened.

"Frisk, Asriel, we're back. Could you two come over and help moved the boxes in for us, please?" Toriel called out.

"We're coming." The both of them replied at the same time, and hurried outside to help Toriel and Asgore moved the boxes inside. Undyne came over to help and she carried seven large boxes inside. Asgore carried about three large boxes in each hand, Toriel with two boxes and both teens got two medium boxes. Once all the boxes are inside, they began unpacking and sort out everything. Asgore pulled out a trophy and polished it until it shines before putting on the display case.

"Toriel, do you remember the time we won this trophy here years ago?" He asked, as Toriel poked over her head from the kitchen and looked at the trophy he put up.

"Oh, you mean the Nose-Nuzzling Competition? Yeah, I remember that. We're the winners of that contest." She replied, giggling lightly.

"Well, it does bring back memories though." He nodded, and went back to do his business while Toriel returns back to the kitchen to put away the utensils and dishes. Afterwards, Frisk finished putting away the books on the bookshelves before going into the kitchen.

Frisk's P.O.V

I made my way to the kitchen and saw Toriel opening the boxes and pulling out some plates, "Hey Mom."

"Hmm, what is it, my child?" She asked.

"Can I talk you about something?"

"Sure. What do you want to ask?" She continued, putting the cups on the shelves.

"Umm..." I hesitated, before gulping nervously "Well, while you and Asgore were gone to get your things. Papyrus came over and ask me if I could moved over to his place."

Toriel stopped her actions and turned to me, "Did he now?"

"Yeah, I thought if it's a good idea to move my things over to his place instead." I went on. Toriel slowed down to set the cup down on the counter and stared down. I caught on that, "Is something wrong?"

"I'm worried..." She mumbled.

"What do you mean?" I was confused.

"It's the same feeling I always have; losing another human child..." She tightened her hand on the counter next to the cup, "I just... couldn't bear this feeling anymore." Her eyes were welling with tears and began to sob.

"Aww Mom..." I went up to her and hugged her, "Don't cry... I'll be okay, I promise."

"Alright, my child..." She whispered, grabbing a handkerchief from her pocket and wipe her eyes with it, "I understand that you're a grown woman, you're only seventeen and nearly eighteen years old very soon. I'm surprise of how much you grown since you left me in the RUINS."

I remembered that time, back when I was fourteen, I was taken care by her. Then later on, I left the place because I told her that I want to go home, back where I belong... but in the end, she was so attached to me like a mother always. To me, I do like her as a mother...

"So, my child..." I heard her speaking again, "Could you stay for a week please? I want to spend some time with you. Please?"

I stared at her until I sighed in defeat and decided to give in, "Okay, I'll stay with you."

Toriel had brought back her smile again and hugged me tightly, "Thank you, my child."

"Is everything okay?" Asgore asked from the doorway and stopped when he saw me and Toriel having a 'mother-daughter moment' here. Toriel saw him and nodded.

"It's fine. I just... want Frisk to stay with us for a while before she moves over to stay with Sans and Papyrus."

"I see." He nodded, "Frisk, would you be okay with that?"

"I'm sure." I replied.

"Alright..."

"Hey Dad." Asriel called out.

"Yes, son?"

"If Frisk is staying over at the Skelebro's house, can she still work an ambassador?"

"Yes, it's a very important job for her so that monsters can make peace with the humans. Though it's challenging but Frisk can fill in the details for me and I'll sort things out." He turned his son, "But you, young man. You're still our young prince." He admitted, ruffling his big hand on top of Asriel's head playfully.

"Thanks Dad."

"So Toriel, when are you going to cook dinner?" Asgore asked.

"Oh, I should start cooking some Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie." She said, standing up and head over to the cupboard to pull some ingredients for the pie. "It will be ready within 50 minutes so you should all finish the unpacking."

"Okay." With that, the family went back to their business and finished putting away.

(45 minutes later...)

"Everyone, dinner's ready." Toriel announced.

"Oh boy!" Asriel squeaked, rushing into the dining room and sat at the table excitedly. Asgore came in and sat the end table while I sat on the other side opposite from Asriel. Toriel brought the baked pie over to the table and began cutting into slices.

"Here you all are." She placed the slices onto the plates and passed them all. Once everyone has a slice of pie, they began to eat.

"This is yummy." Asriel complimented.

"Yep, this pie is tasty as ever." I agreed, scruffing down the slice more.

"Toriel, may I have another one?" Asgore asked kindly, showing his empty plate.

"Of course." She cut up another piece and place it on his plate, "Here you go."

"Thank you."

After eating, Asriel and I decided to head for our room to change into our pajamas. Toriel began to clean up the table and gather up the plates.

"Do you want some help?" Asgore gestured.

"No thanks, I'm alright." She replied, shaking her head.

"Okay, I'll be in the living room if you need me, I'll be reading the newspaper." He said, as he left the kitchen to the living room and sat down on a large couch with a newspaper in his hands. He read about three pages until Toriel came out of the kitchen while drying her hands.

"Asgore, I'm going to check on our children. Will you be heading for bed?"

"Uh, no, I'm going to check on them too." He decided, putting the newspaper aside and stood up from his seat.

"Alright." The two adults went upstairs to head for the room where me and Asriel are sleeping.

Toriel opened the door and stepped inside with Asgore following from behind. They both walked up beside the bed and smiled down at us.

"Frisk is such a beautiful woman." He whispered.

"I know, since I have her, she was like a daughter to me." Toriel agreed.

"Indeed, and... I'm sorry about the human we adopted. I know how much we missed that poor human, even though the humans did that on purpose to cause such pain and death." He explained, tightening his hand into a fist, "I want to protect the children and... I failed." Toriel looked surprised, "You left me in disgust and grief when I was blinded with rage and grief by the deaths of the children, I couldn't do anything... so I have no choice but to fight."

"Asgore..." Toriel spoke.

"Hmm?"

"As much as I hated your revenge towards the humans, I couldn't do anything but ran away to protect the innocent children that will fall down here. I did the best I could to stay away from you but in the end, Frisk was the only one that came here at last for all these years. She left me, and I told Sans to keep an eye on her as promise. In the end, I was so worried that I left to go and search for her. But once I saw this battle happening, I was about to beat that ass of yours for making your decision on hurting another human but it turns out that you were hugging her, and finally dropped your weapon to refuse the fight. And that's what I've never suspect from you... to have mercy."

"Indeed." Asgore admitted, "I remember that Frisk wouldn't fight me and either would I. She looked exactly the human that I know but if she reminds me as her, it will be better to look after her like a child of my own too... I still wanted to be a father again. With her and Asriel, it's something new to me and you, like a new beginning."

"Well, it doesn't mean we're... going back together..." She murmured, as Asgore looked away from her at what she had meant, but she guide her hand over to his "But we'll work something out for once..."

Asgore turned back to her and smiled, "Okay, if... that's how it is."

"Come on, let's get some rest before the next day..." Toriel said, gesturing him to the door.

"Okay..." Asgore turned around and head for the door while Toriel bent down to kiss my forehead and whispered, 'goodnight' to me before walking out of the room and shut the door.

"Asgore, don't forget that tomorrow will be a new day ahead for the rest of us." She mentioned.

"Yes, as guardians, we will protect our family and her friends." He nodded, as he went into his bedroom. "Goodnight Toriel."

"Goodnight, Mr. King Fluffybuns."

"What was that?" He drawn back from his room to look at her confused.

She giggled, "Nothing, just... goodnight." With that, she went in and closed the door of her room.

My Sayings: Did I mention this?

Long, short? I don't know how to construct this sequel because sometimes there's twist and turned to whatever happened after the barrier was broken. So, if you're wondering about something, I was searching some images on Older Frisk and Older Asriel because there's going to be changes in this book. So, if you don't mind... the next chapter will be like going...nyeh, can't decide.

Don't forget to leave a VOTE and COMMENT for this chapter.

Peace out Buddies!
