Frisk was about to to go and talks to Sans when suddenly, the world went black.

Frisk appeared in a dark room. There were two beds and a small table, but there was no door. Everything was gray and black. Nothing had any color. It oddly reminded her of her own room back on the surface.

Congratulations, Frisk. You really screwed up. A dark figure emerged from the depths of the room, but still enough in the shadows so you couldn't see them.
What? I didn't do anything!
Yes you did! You're not supposed to speak. Next time keep your fucking mouth shut. The voice huffed at Frisk.
Look, Im trying to go through this the best way I know. I haven't gone through the world before, unlike you. And what do you mean I should keep my mouth shut?

I asked you a question. Why did you come down here? Chara wanted to know why she had come down here. Why would sis ever be here? How could she ever be here? Even though Toriel explained the coma it still didn't make any sense.
I don't think it's your right know. I had my reasons. Frisk looked unwell. She seemed uneasy.

They why don't you just read them? Frisk snarked back. She crossed her arms.
I like to keep people's privacy, but whatever. Chara looked deep into Frisks thoughts until she found her thought. Charas heart sank.
Why.... why did you want to do that?

Well my sisters fucking dead and Davids gotten worse. Frisk laughed a painful laugh. You must meet David sometime. You two would get along. Chara grimaced at the thought. Frisk stared at the shadow. You got your damn answer?

Frisk turned around and sat on the bed. And by the way, this is really creepy. Next time choose your own room to 'visit' me in. I don't want to remember this place. I don't want to go back.

Chara emerged from the shadows into the small light that was present in the room. If Frisk wasn't turned around she could see her. But Frisk was looking away. Chara came closer and tentatively touched Frisks shoulder. Frisk jerked it off.

Don't. Touch me. Frisk shook her head and revealed a painful smile. I don't even know your name. What is it, anyways?

There was a pause. Your name? You know it right? Yeah, I know it.
...
Can you call me a nickname?

Frisk started to turn around and Chara hurried back to the shadows. Sure. You have a reason? We all do. Can I hear yours?

Well, I had a tough past. Not that it was bad... even though it was. Parts of it. Other parts were good. Chara could see Frisk playing on that grassy hill that Mom always loved. Just like yesterday... Hey, you still there? Yeah, sorry. Thinking back to uh... Wqhen things were good? I know the feeling.

Frisk sighed. I had a sister on the surface. We would always play together. But one day... she left. She... Frisk grasped the sheets she had in her hand and balled them in her fist. She tried it hold back tears. She left to go here! To this fucking mountain. She killed herself. And... and it was all my fault! Frisk put her hands to her face. She barely held back the tears swelling in her eyes.

I promised her I wouldn't do this. Frisk bit her lip and the tears faded away. She exhaled a sharp breath and stared back up at the shadows. I'm sorry. Please continue. Her eyes were glistening at Chara, the way they had so many times before. Every time Frisk held back her tears.

I... have nothing else to say. You pretty much summed it up. What, did a friend of yours go to the mountain too? I... I was the person to go the mountain.

Frisk lowered her head and smiled. She shook her head as she slowly let her gaze wander back to the shadow. I think we're the only sane ones in a crazy world.

Ha. I think you got that the wrong way around.
