The First RESET
After Frisk spent an hour on the floor, The voice spoke. Reset. Don't talk to me. Reset. Make it all go away. What do you mean? A reset? Yeah, you can reset and start all over. From the beginning. When you first fell here. You can try again.
Frisk had a flashback.
Chara was in her bed staring at the ceiling. She looked as if all the blood had drained from her face. "Just know that whatever happens, we'll always be sisters, ok?"
"Chara, stop being weird. Tell me what's going on." Frisk was laying beside her in her own bed, now staring at Chara who looked scared.
"Just promise that we'll always be sisters!" Chara was starting to tear up. She looked afraid, even though David wasn't there. David had gone to bed.
"Chara, please! What's wrong?" Frisk whispered in a harsh voice. "You can tell me!"
"Frisk." Chara gave Frisk a look she hadn't seen in a long time. A look of sternness. A look of death, almost. Frisk knew what that look meant. It meant no more questions.
"We'll always be sisters. I promise."
"Goodnight." Chara said, clenching her sheets in a fist.
Frisk didn't feel right. She needed to say something.
"Do you remember that day?"
"Which one?"
"You know which one," Said Frisk. "Promise you'll remember that. Even in your darkest of times. Determination, ok?"
"Determination." Chara softly replied.

Frisk? Are you ok?
Yeah, yeah. Frisk looked at the floor. I've always wanted to reset. I don't think you know this about me, but my sister fell down this mountain. She came here to kill her self. I still remember that night before she came here. Frisks eyes turned glossy with tears. I... I always felt as if I didn't do enough. I could have... I could have helped her more. I could have stopped her. Frisk wiped her tears on the arm of her sleeve. It was all my fault.
(HEY SO FOR THE REST OF THE BOOK THE VOICE WILL NOW BE REFERRED TO AS CHARA! This doesn't mean that Frisk knows it's Chara though, ok? Ok.)
Chara felt a pang of guilt in her stomach. Trust me, it's not your fault. It sounds like your sister was really stupid.
Frisk just burst into tears, unable to hold it in. I'm sorry! I'm sorry! What did I do? Frisk kept crying.
Don't call her stupid! She's smart and kind and only wanted was was best for me! I do want what's best for you! Not you, my sister you conceited ass! Right, sorry.
...
So, do you want to reset? Frisk calmed herself until she was at a point where she could answer. *sniff* Yes.
Frisk felt the floor move beneath her. She fell through the floor and was floating in completely black room. She was between time and space. Now all you have to do is press the button. Frisk turned around. Now, positioned in front of her, were two bright buttons. One read 'Continue.' The other read 'RESET'.
The choice is up to you. Just know, everyone will forget everything. Everything. Toriel won't know your name. Flowey doesn't know you either. You'll have to do it all again. You'll have to relive it.
I know. I just wanted to let you know. When I used to reset, sometimes it was worth it. Other times, it wasn't. This time it's worth it. You can never be so sure, kid.
Frisk extended her arm and her small hand grazed the RESET button. The choice is up to you... Frisk made up her mind and firmly pressed her palm against the button. Frisks vision blurred as she slowly felt herself waking up again, at the foot of Mt. Ebbot.
