The Broken Child: Part 3(before Undertale)

Frisk slowly stood up.

"I love you..." Frisk whispered. Tears streamed down Frisks face as she wished her mom goodbye. "I love you...."

Frisk went to her room and opened the bottom drawer of her desk and reached to the back. She grabbed the handle of her knife and brought it out of the drawer. It gleamed in the light of the moon, it's blade sharp and ready to strike. She started to walk towards Davids room. But then, she stopped.

She backed away from the door and fell down. "Owww." No Frisk. Just because he is awful doesn't mean you have to be too. Frisk kept her head high. She was better than this.

Frisk looked over at her mother. She cringed, and not because she was covered in blood, but the fact that she was gone. Forever. Frisk turned away, her eyes brimming with tears. She tried to ignore the feeling.

Frisk stood up slowly. She walked over to her mother and picked her up at the knees and neck. She slowly lifted her mother up and carried her outside. Ever since David came mother got thinner. Frisk hated to think about it.

The air was cool, chilling Frisk to the bone. She walked along the sidewalk until she reached her mothers favorite place. It wasn't much, a small hill overlooking their small town. There was a small playground behind the hill and a beautiful patch of buttercups they loved to play in. That was until David came.

Frisk set her mother down on the flowers. She crossed her mothers arms and gently kissed her forehead. Frisk took in a deep breath and let out a staggering exhale. She was all alone.

Frisk stood up and looked back out over the hill. From there she could see Mt. Ebott, in all its glory. Stories say that people who climb it never return. The thought seemed appealing, and she knew it was true, too.

Frisk imagined her sister, playing with her on the swings. They baked a cake one time. Frisk smashed her face with flour. Sis laughed and threw flour back at Frisk. She was Frisks best friend. She was Frisks only friend.

Frisk smiled. The memories were great back then. They were so happy back then. Her sister left a year ago. David was too much, and she couldn't hold on any longer. One day, there was a small note that read "I love you. Please forgive me." There was nothing else. Just a note. No goodbye.

Frisk clenched her fist. You are alone. All alone. It's best if you just... give up. Frisk felt a fiery feeling in her chest. She felt... death. Not happiness or determination. Just death. Frisk peered back up at the mountain.

Do it. Frisk duh her foot into the ground. Do it. She bit her lip. Do it. She closed her eyes. Do it. Frisk took a step forward, then another, then another. And Frisk made her journey to the mountain.

Frisk climbed the mountain until the sunrise touched the land scape. She looked out over the town. It was quiet. Now. Frisk gulped. Now. She tore her gaze away from the beauty of the city. She was now looking directly into the heart of Mt. Ebott.

Frisk wasn't sure if this was a good idea. She had so much more that she could do. But Frisk knew if she went back that the beatings would get worse. There would be no escape. Frisk took a step forward. It's going to be ok. Think if how much happier you'll be when this is all over. Frisk was scared. "I'm.... I'm so sorry." She whispered, tears falling down her face.

Frisk took another step forward and let her body go.
