Chapter 2: Neighbourly Skeletons

Frisk POV:

I woke up to find myself in a bedroom. The bed was soft and warm so I cuddled back up into it but then I kicked the covers off and looked round the room. Suddenly, the door opened and a goat lady walked in. "Hello. I am Toriel. I found you injured by a flower." "Flowey..." I mumbled. "Pardon?" She asked, confused. "Nothing Just... that flower should really GROW up a bit." I smiled while waving my hands. The goat lady laughed at my terrible attempt and humour. "Come child, I will show you my home." She smiled as she held out her hand. I took it and we left the room.

When we walked out and down some stairs I saw another goat person. "This is Asgore." She smiled. (A/N: In this im having it so Asgore and Toriel live together already and they live... wherever it is. I get confused sometimes. No hate please!) The tall goat man walked over to me. "Pleasure to meet you." He smiled while extending his hand. I accepted it and shook his.

Time Skip...

I've been living here with the Dreemurs for a few weeks now and I love it! It's so much better then my old life on the surface. I was in my room on the phone that Toriel gave me. I was playing a game called 'Dancing Line' it's very hard. I keep losing. There was a knock at the door and I looked up to see Toriel and Asgore. They looked worried. "I'm afraid me and Asgore have got to leave for a while. Not sure how long but it will be a while." And just like that, my jokey heart fell. "But we are leaving you in the care of some of our close friends." She smiled while placing a hand on my shoulder. "I've asked them to pick you up in an hour. I'm sorry child." She said while hugging me. Both Asgore and I hugged Toriel. "Come on. Lets get your bags ready."

There. All my stuff, aka, all Toriel's stuff that she got me, has been packed up. I was sitting on the sofa with my legs in the air and my head upside down and facing the ground. I was on the phone again with 'Dancing Line'. I REFUSE TO LOSE! While I was concentrating I didn't realise I was falling off the sofa. But I did, however, notice when a skeleton suddenly appeared in front of me. I screamed, dropped my phone, and face planted into the ground. I heard the skeleton laugh at this. I looked up and saw that he had this massive grin on his face. I stood up, dusting off imaginary dust from my clothes. "Well it looks like you had a nice fall there. Good thing your hard headed." I looked at him before giggling slightly. "Well you know, I've got a really thick skull." I said while gently knocking the side of my head. He laughed. "Ah Frisk, I see you've met Sans. He is one of the brothers you are staying with. Thank you again Sans." He shrugged. "No problem Tori." Sans, huh? Cool name. "So you wanna get going kid?" I nodded. I ran to Toriel and Asgore. "Bye Mom. Bye Dad." Yes I call them that. After all, they're better then my real ones and they take care of me like I'm their daughter. I ran back to Sans with my bag with a look of determination on my face. I waved bye and we left the house. "I never properly introduced myself." I turned to him. "I'm Sans. Sans the skeleton." He said while extending his hand. "I'm Frisk. Frisk the- uh... human?" I questioned as I shook his hand. I heard a loud fart noise and we just stood there. He then burst out laughing. "Oh the good 'woopie cushion in the hand trick'. It always gets everyone!" He laughed. I laughed slightly too. "Well no need to toot your own horn." He looked at me before we both burst out laughing. "I have a feeling that we're gonna be great friends." "Did you feel it in your bones?" He laughed again. "Lets head to my house." And so we did.
