-Chara's POV-
We lay in the flower bed that I had fallen down so long ago. We looked up at the stars, them glistening and twinkling. "I remember when you first fell..." Asriel broke the silence.
I smiled. "Me too..." I reached down and held his hand. If it wasn't for him, I'd probably be dead. "I remembered the horrified look on your face!" I smirked.
I ran up the mountain, crying and bleeding from what my village did to me. I held my side that was drenched in blood. The wind messed up my hair, it howling in my ear. It was raining hard, my green and yellow striped shirt soaked.
I could see nothing through the night, my tears or the rain as I was running blindly. When I caught my foot on a loose vine, I expected to fall and hit the ground. But no, I was falling endlessly.
The rain muffled along with the wind. Soon enough, I had hit rock bottom and blacked out.

I woke up. I was on a glowing yellow flower bed, the ones directly beneath me coated in my blood. It was warm and humid like after every storm. I tried to sit up, but instead was greeted by a sharp pain in my right arm, collapsing.
"Hello?! Help! SOMEONE, PLEASE!" I droped my head. "S-someone..." I heard quick little steps, and before me was a young goat whose shirt matched mine.
-Asriel's POV-
I went outside into the garden to play like I always did when I heard it. A small voice yelling "Hello? Help! Someone please!" I froze, not knowing what to do. Mom never taught me this!
Scared, instinct lifted me to my feet, and I began running down the halls into the large room. There, a young girl-A HUMAN!-lay, bleeding and crying, breaths heavy.
"Oh my gosh!" I whispered. I stepped close to her. "You've fallen, haven't you?" I asked her, although obvious. "Y-yeah..." She sputtered, her voice high in what I could only assume as fear.
I grabbed her left arm and lifted her and she leaned on my shoulder. As I was walking her down the hall, I looked at her. "What's your name?" I asked. "Chara..." She replied. "You?"
I smiled. "Asriel! Asriel Dreemurr." I looked down at her blood drenched side. "What happened?" I asked. I don't remember there being any rocks or anything on the bed!
I took her through the ruins and to my house. We arrived at the large tree. As we entered the house, I shouted "MOOOOOM! COME HERE QUICK!" She peeked her head from the living room. She gasped at the sight of a bloody human.
-Chara's POV-
There's another goat?!? I wasn't too fond of that idea. "My child!" The tall woman goat cried. "Oh, come here..." She dragged me along into the kitchen. She looked at my skinny legs, studying the bruises and cuts.
Finally, Asriel's mother touched my left side which was the bloodiest. I winced at the pain, it still feeling like a fresh wound. She lifted my shirt to reveal a thin yet long gash.
I heard Asriel gasp and his Mom shook her head. "We need to get that stitched!" I wasn't to keen on that...
★★★
Asriel laughed. "That gash was DISGUSTING!" I lifted my shirt to reveal a small scar from my hip to the top of my rib cage. Even though it was really late and dark, what few stars we could see illuminated enough.
I coughed. I knew that was gonna lead to something, but I ignored it. "Remember that one time when we stole 5 decks of cards from Ms. Claud to make giant houses, and she was SO mad when she found out?"
I laughed, remembering the moment. I almost cried realizing it was the last time I might.
