[Sans POV]

I just watched as Papyrus made the mistake of telling Undyne about how Y/N made us breakfast. My mind was racing when she responded to it scared that Undyne wouldn't listen I quickly locked the door. Grabbing Y/N's hand I rush upstair. I set her down in my room and close the door. I hope Undyne can try to understand that she cannot take Y/N to Asgore.

"Stay here." I tell her.

"Ok." she responds worried.

As I walk downstairs I see Undyne already in the house. Looking around.

"Wheres the Human!!!!"She yells at me.

"I'm not telling unless you promise you wont take her or her soul to Asgore." I say looking at her in a calm way.

"Why... Sans you know we just need one more human soul then we can leave the underground!" she says now furious(If that was even more possible than it already was.)

"Because shes different than everyone else." I tell her.

"Like that makes a difference." she says. 

"Undyne please don't bring her to Asgore." I plead with her.

"Fine. But at least let me see the Brat." she states. Looking displeased.

I look at her for a second then walk up the stairs to your room. I open the door Y/N rushes over to you and hugs you tightly. I'm a little shocked by this but return the hug my cheekbones turning a light blue. You grab her hand and lead her down the stairs.

[Y/N POV]

You hold tightly to Sans hand the lady Undyne was yelling and talking about taking your soul and it honestly scared you. As Sans leads you down the stairs you began to see the girl Undyne. She was a fish lady with long Red hair. Her face was that of and angry goldfish if that's even possible. 

"So this is the Human?" Undyne said looking at you with little interest. You nod and wave your hand at her.

"Whats so special about this one Sans." Undyne looks at you clearly with a strange gaze.

"She looks like all the other humans." Undyne says 

"Its not her looks that make her special Undyne, its her soul." Sans says looking at you.

"Well that soul is keeping us from getting to the surface." Undyne says growling.

"Why would you wanna go to the surface?" you ask her feeling brave. She walks over to you she towered over you.

"Because we've been locked down here for too long." she says looking at you. You look away.

"Why would you wanna go to the surface when there are people like him?!?" you say sadly referring to your brother Frisk. You were unconsciously rubbing your arm in after saying that.

"What do yo-!" Undyne was about to say something but seeing your tears stopped her.

You  turn around and walk back upstairs. Going back to Sans room you close the door.

[Sans POV]

I watch her walk back upstairs to my room. Her eyes were that of anger and sadness of something a person did. I look a Undyne who was just staring at the stairs as if she was deciding whether to go up them or not.

"You should be going Undyne." I say as I push her out the door.

"Ok Sans just make sure Papyrus gets to his training on time." She says with her usual determined tone.

I wave goodbye to Undyne and walk into the house. Papy was still looking up the stairs his face clearly worried. He looks at you.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK THE HUMAN WAS TALKING ABOUT?" Papy says looking at you even more.

"Well I don't really know." I say. I look at the stairs and wonder if y/n is okay.

I walk up the stairs and knock on my door.

"Knock Knock." I say looking at the door.

"W-Whos there?" y/n replies 

"Boo." I say trying to open the door finding out its locked.

"Boo who?" she replies again a little more happily.

"Gosh, don't cry its just a knock knock joke." You start chuckling but y/n doesn't

"Will you remember me in a minute?" she asks.

"Yes." I say wondering where this was going.

"Will you remember me in a week?" she asks again.

"Y-yes."I say getting worried.

"Will you remember me in a year?"

"Yes I will." you reply about to ask her why shes saying these things but she stops you.

"Knock Knock." she says sadly.

"Whos there?" I reply.

"You said you'd remember me." she answered but she wasn't happy.

I wanted to make her happy. I wanted to make her smile. I somewhere along the line told a joke that I kinda didn't want to say.

"Knock Knock." I say really quickly

"Whos there?" She replies.

"Olive." I say looking at the floor.

"Olive who?" she questioned.

"Olive you!" you blurt out turning a darker shade of blue. 

I hear shuffling on the other side of the door and hear the door unlock. Y/N opens the door looking at you her cheeks were bright pink and her face unreadable. She continues to stare at me until she stops blushing.

"Did you mean it?" she looking away from me.

"Well yeah I just think your great and sanstastic." I say winking at her.

"Oh okay." she says giving a little chuckle.

She walks down the stairs smiling to herself not even giving me a second look.

[Y/N POV]

Did Sans just say he loves you?!?! Your mind fills with thoughts as you walk down the stairs. You sit on the couch and turn on the television. You hear Sans close his door to his room and you begin to feel bad that you didn't tell him your feelings in return

A/N Welp this took forever to write even though its not the best chapter but whateves hope you enjoyed the chapter and sorry for it being a little short I have a longer chapter planned but  i cant believe i got around 40 reads on this story xD never expected it thanks :3
