It was just a normal day, and you were doing what you normally did: watching Mettaton's show. You weren't always super interested in what it was about, but there was something about Mettaton that you loved. Mainly: everything about him.

He was too fabulous for words, and it showed. He had a great personality, and so what if he was a bit self-centered? He was still a great person.

Suddenly there was a knock at your door. You groaned and sat up. Who would dare disturb you from your Mettaton show-watching?

You opened the door. "What do you-" You looked up too see a face. A fabulous face.

Mettaton's face.

You gasped, and he smiled. "Hello, darling! My, speechless are we? Well, I'm sure you're glad you've won." Won? "Uh, what did I win?" You asked confusedly.

Mettaton chuckled. "Why, a whole day with me, darling! You won the drawing contest!" Of course, duh! You mentally face-palmed. You'd entered a drawing contest months ago, and you'd completely forgotten about it.

Then it sunk in. You were going to spend a whole day with Mettaton!

You smiled at him. "Really?!" He chuckled, "Of course darling! You're drawing was definitely my favorite!" That made you happy. Out of all the drawings he could have chosen, he chose yours.

"So, darling, your name is (Y/N), correct?" You nodded. "And of course you know me, so there is no need for introduction. Now, I have plans for us today, so let's get to it!" He grabbed your hand,and you blushed. Mettaton dragged you out of the house and towards the mall. Shopping wasn't really your thing, but you might as well get something since you were here.

Mettaton helped you pick out the perfect outfit, one you liked of course. He bought it for you and you wore it for the rest of the day.

After a few other things throughout the day, Mettaton took you to a clearing in some woods and laid down a blanket, taking out a basket.

A picnic!

He sat down, you along with him, and I brought out some food. You weren't sure what it was, as it was really fancy food, but it was delicious.

"You know darling, I've discovered something today," Mettaton said quietly. You looked over at him, and he continued, "you're simply fabulous, darling." He smiled, looking over at you.

You blushed. This was a big compliment, seeing as it was coming from Mettaton. He giggled at your blush.

Then he kissed you. It was a short, yet sweet, kiss, and you loved it.

Mettaton giggled again. "Well, we should probably get going." He began packing things up, and you stood up, letting him gather the blanket. He grabbed your hand and began walking. He looked down at you. "You are very adorable when you blush, you know that?"

"Shut up," you punched his arm playfully. He chuckled, and you both talked and laughed all the way home.
