Sans: *chokes on ketchup* you're going through with this?

Pika: *slams head against a table* shuttttt uppppp.

Sans: *laughs* then why don't you just skip this?

Pika: *groans* because I promised I would do all requests, except smuts, and so I have too.

Sans: well enjoy kiddos.

Pika: yeah and you pika pals get to learn a bit about me in this so

This is a story about how two friends met and eventually, fell in love. (Is that how you start these kind of things out? Oh well :3) (the fourth wall has been taken down since this is an author and character one shot and the author does not want to have to but a new fourth wall so just moved it until the one shot was over)

Pika yawned as she walked towards Grillby's. She was not having a good day. Undertale Mettaton and Underswap Napstablook had dragged her to the mall at 5:30 in the morning to go clothes shopping, even though she hates the activity with a passion. Then, they forgot that she can't drink coffee, since it makes her sick to her stomach. Not to mention it was now noon and she hadn't even ate any breakfast. The pikachu/human hybrid was tired and wanted some food and a good nap.

"Hey Grillby." She said as she walked in and flopped into her normal seat at the bar. Multiple residents at the bar greeted the girl, since she was a well known regular.

Grillby waved slightly as he slid her down her usual, a plate of fries and a small bottle of ketchup. She grinned and poured half the bottle into her fries before taking a bite of one, loving the taste of Grillby's food more than ever now. "Thanks for the food Grillby! It's as yummy as always!" She complimented as the fire monster smiled at her.

Pika felt a slight chill go down her spine, like she was being watch. Turning towards the feeling, she saw a skeleton that was about the same height as her. Well that's surprising, considering she's only 5'3. 

"Hey Sans!" Voices come from all over the bar as the skeleton's enteral grin widen slightly as he walked in and waved at some people.

"Hey everyone. Did you hear about the guy who got his left side cut off? He's all right now!" The skeleton said in a slightly deep voice. He had a slightly New Jersey accent too. Everyone bursted out in laughter at the joke.

"I've recently been reading a book about anti-gravity lately. I can't seem to put it down!" Pika joked and another round of laughter sounded. Sans looked at her in surprise before sitting next to her.

He stuck out his hand. "Names Sans, Sans the Skeleton. But you can call me Sans." He told her and Pika giggled slightly to herself as she shook his hand, not feeling the shock of the joy buzzer.

"Pika, Pika the pikachu/human hybrid. You can call me Pika though. By the way... A little joy buzzer isn't going to work on me." She replied and Sans looked at her in surprise. "What? I shock out your electrifying response to my lightning puns." She joked.

Sans grinned wider than ever as he started to laugh, Pika joining along after a few seconds. She snorted slightly as she laughed but Sans didn't notice.

He stopped after a while and looked at her. "You ain't bad P. We'll have to meet again. Grillby! Put it on my tab!" Sans said as he drinks the rest of his ketchup with a single gulp before leaving. Pika grinned and nodded, though he was already gone.

She certainly would see the skeleton again.

_time skip_

Pika and Sans did meet again, the next day. They kept meeting and joking with each other for two months straight. The two had become close in that time, often hanging out whenever they had the chance.

Pika grinned as she walked into Grillby's at their usual meeting time, but frowned lightly when she didn't see Sans. Was he late? He never was late to their meetings, ever. Even his brother said it was remarkable how Sans is never late.

"Hey Grillby, seen Sans?" She asked as she sat and Grillby shook his head as he handed her the usual.

"Thanks, can I get a Mountain Dew too?" She asked and he nodded before having a worker bring her the cold soda. Pika sipped on her soda and munched on her fries as she waited for Sans. He didn't show up after another fifthteen minutes of waiting so she checked her phone to see if Sans had texted.

One text message from boneified skeleton

Pika giggled quietly as she read his name in her phone. Unlocking her phone, she went to the text to look at it.

Hey P. I'm going to be seriously late. Got caught up at work. Don't be too bonely without me.

Pika rolled her eyes as she sent a reply.

I'm sure I won't be all abone. I have Grillby who is a skele-ton of skele-fun to hang out with. She replied.

Her phone bested again and she read his newest text. Nice, heard he's on fire right now. Pika rolled her eyes as she sent him a text to hurry and finish work before turning off her phone.

She waited a full hour and it was almost time to close. Finally deciding that he wasn't going to show, Pika stood up. Suddenly the doors opened and the grinning skeleton raced in.

"Sorry I'm so late P. Didn't mean to." He told her and Pika giggled.

"It's fine. Come on. Let's go for a walk since the place is closing. See ya Grillby." Pika said with a wave to the fire monster before grabbing Sans hand and pulling him out into the snow.

Sans turned bright blue in the place when Pika grabbed his hand but she didn't notice. "So Pika... I have something important I want to tell you..." He trailed off at the end as Pika stopped them to look at the skeleton. He never used her actually name unless it was serious.

"What is it Sans?" Pika asked worriedly and Sans cursed himself under his breath for making her worry.

"Well... Umm... You see... What I want to say is..." He stuttered over his words before groaning. "Oh forget this shit!" He yelled and before Pika could say anything, he pressed his teeth to her lips.

After a slight shock, Pika happily kissed the skelly back. They stayed like that for a minute before pulling away. "Wow." They both said at the same time before laughing quietly at it.

"So, does this mean we're dating Sansy?" Pika asked and Sans grinned and held Pika's hand again.

"It sure does Babe. Let's go tell Paps the news." He suggested before the two walked away to the Skelebros' house.

Pika: *is hiding in a corner of shame, silently wishing this one shot could become real* I feel embarrassed.

Sans: *chuckles* you'll live.
