"(Y/N)! Hey dude!" Monster kid called to you. Though, she wasn't really a kid anymore, since the two of you were now adults. Her real name was Penny, which had surprised you slightly but you loved it either way.

"Heya Penny. Ready for our hangout?" You asked the monster, who nodded.

"Yep! Oh! Is Papyrus meeting with us at the skating rink or no?" Penny asked eagerly, making you smile and nod. Her admiration for Papyrus had grown into a full on crush over the years and you silently shipped it. Age didn't matter to monsters once they became adults and personally, being a human, you were slightly jealous.

"Yeah and so is Sans, Undyne, and Alphys. So we'll have a puntastic time." You joked, earning a groan. Penny even hated puns like Papyrus, it was adorable and you couldn't help but tease your friend at times.

"Dude I swear! You and Sans need to stop hanging out so much! Too many puns!" Penny said and you laughed.

"Your just jealous that I got my first kiss from a hot skeleton before you did." You teased, making the monster girl blush. The kiss had been on accident. Though that was a story for another time (and another one-shot *hint hint* you guys gotta request it if you wanna know~).

"S-shut up! Your so mean (Y/N)!" She said defensively. You rubbed her back as the two of you walked to the park.

"I'm only teasing Penny. Let's go get our Nice cream before heading to the skating rink." You told the monster girl reassuringly. "Maybe I can try to get Paps to hang out with you one day next week, alone?" That seemed to do the trick and Penny was bouncing practically now.

You were slightly worried that your friend was going to fall, like they did in the past way too often, but over the years Penny had gotten really good at not tripping. It probably had to do with her tail being heavier and balancing her out. It made the monster more confident as well. It was enough to make you happy as well. 

Soon the two reached the nice cream man and each of you got a nice cream cone. Penny insisted on holding it herself and was now holding the cone with her tail. It reminded you of some of those animes you often watched with Alphys and Undyne.

The two of you sat on a bench and are your nice cream, talking about what had happen in the last week the two of you saw each other. Since you both were adults, you only got to meet up once or twice a week due to your busy schedules.

"So, when are you going to confessed to Papyrus hmm?" You asked, a smirk appearing as Penny blushed. "I bet he likes you back, the skeleton isn't really good about hiding his feelings." You spoke the truth. It was obvious the skeleton also had a crush on the girl. It was one of the main reasons he took off work, something he NEVER did, just to go skating with the two of you. Of course, that was also the reason the other three were going, to set the two up. Shockingly Sans had agreed to the two having a relationship, though you had to suspect it was because of a promise you made to him. You may regret making that promise in the near future.

Penny shook her head. "N-no way dude! H-he would never like me like that! He's way too cool!" Penny yelled, her face bright red (*silently shipping Penny and Papyrus now*). You laughed and she pouted and yelled at you, making you laugh harder.

Soon the two of you went to the ice skating rink. It wasn't far from the park luckily so the two of you didn't have to walk far. It was clear out and the summer heat was beating down on both of you. It made you even happier to go to the skating rink.

Once the two of you walked in, you both instantly heard that the group were there already, waiting for them. "I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL SHOW YOU ALL HOW GREAT I AM AT SKATING!" You both smiled and walked over to the group.

"Hey Paps!" You called, gaining the four monsters attention. Penny was more nervous.

"H-hey P-papyrus." She stuttered quietly. She was blushing hard as she stood in front of the tall skeleton.

"HELLO HUMAN AND PENNY! IT IS NICE TO SEE YOU TWO!" Papyrus said in his usual loud tone. You helped Penny get her skates on before sitting beside Sans to pull yours on. The shorter skeleton put an arm around your shoulder and gave you an one arm hug, along with a skeleton kiss on the cheek that made you blush slightly.

"Sup babe. You look hotter than usual today." He said and you rolled your eyes, though you couldn't help the laugh that escaped your lips.

"Well it is hot enough to fry eggs on the concrete at this point. It feels egg-ordinary being in here." You joked back, earning groans from everyone but your pun loving boyfriend.

"PENNY! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO WITH THE GREAT PAPYRUS OUT ON THE ICE?!" Papyrus asked your friend, his nervousness showing on his face along with a small blush. You grin when you see a blush appear on Penny's face as well as she nodded.

"Sorry Alphys but I call shipping it first. Those two are way too cute together." You told the giant lizard, who pouted slightly.

"Fine." Alphys grumbled before Undyne pulled her on the ice. It was one thing that Alphys could beat Undyne at sports wise, ice skating.

Sans laughed as you stood, balancing on the skates' blades. "Chill for a bit babe. You just got here." He told you and you smiled before pulling him up, which was really hard to do on skates.

"How about you come skating with me? We could easily just use your magic and show off. That would be funny to see the looks on their faces." You told him and the lights in his eyes lit up.

"I think this may be one of the few times I wanna work now. Other than our little agreement that you are fulfilling this weekend." He told you, a smirk on his face as you blushed redder than a tomato.

"Shut up Sans." You told him as the two of you also went on the ice. You smiled whenever you saw Papyrus and Penny skating together, talking happily about different things. She was your BFF after all and BFF's help each other out.
