Eleven Shooting Stars
(I should really catch up with these things. Also, there is absolutely no information on this dude or his personality. .so. . .yay. . .I'm gonna butcher everything. Also, also, this idea comes from my good pal JJ_Paranoia)

A letter.
Why?
Why a letter?
Good gracious heavens above, didn't he realize that she couldn't visit? At least, not very often. She was on Earth. .
He was in SPACE.
How the hell? How'd he send a letter to her? Usually he just spoke by phone. Or had his brother speak for him. But why? Why a letter?
It was barely legible, as she assumed he'd been too excited to really care about it making sense. It sounded like something he'd do. Not that she cared. Just made it harder to understand.
"Jesus. . . .you write like a chicken who just grew their feathers. ."
She knew not to say such comments to his face, but he'd never know from her being so far down there. She wasn't heartless. Just a little bit unsympathetic.
After a bit of tedious work, and hours wasted deciding what it was exactly that it read, she was surprised. A date? With her? She never pegged him for that stuff, even if he was eccentric. Sure, what they did at their first meeting may have been considered a date, but. .nothing went past talking, and even then they hardly spoke to each other. He was dead set on proving he was the best at dating, despite giving her the knowledge he'd never been on one not even a full five minutes prior. It was. . .chaotic and endearing. She found it really nice.
So she headed up to him after getting in a small space shuttle. It took a bit, but she landed where she had the first few times visiting, waving hello to a certain dog-cat hybrid animal. . .thing. Then she headed to New Home, where Asgore told her how excited he was for the meteor shower. She'd never seen something like that before, so a first glance so close to it, and having a perfect view would be amazing to her. After a chat and being sent away with butterscotch pie, she headed to the next part.
Strangely, it was deserted. This confused her greatly. Had she missed some important event already? Was the meteor shower starting and she didn't know? If so, there should have been someone to greet her, to tell her where to go. She knew that he wouldn't send the letter without informing everyone about it. They knew she was coming. So. .why were they gone?
"This place gets weirder and weirder every time."
She continued on, soon running into Alphys. The captain also said of how excited she was for the meteor shower, and apologized for everyone being gone. She was as confused as her. Alphys patted the girl on the back pretty hard, then sent her away with. . .ramen? Weird, but ok. It seemed more Undyne's taste then Alphys'.
Moving along, she was greeted by Napstablook and Mettaton. They both gave her a big hug (as much as ghosts could) and chatted for a long while. Catching up on each other's lives, talking drama and music and the like. Then before she left, they took a picture, and gave her many foods to pack on her way to meet her friend. Her arms were rather full by this point, but she persevered and continued.
Lastly, she smiled and ran to Papyrus and Toriel. Both were overjoyed to see her. Yet, both knew something she did not. They wouldn't say what it was, just that she needed to go past them and to the barrier (which by now was destroyed). Toriel only gave her a hug, which she was grateful for, while Papy threw in some tacos. It took a bit of balancing for her to carry it away from them and towards where everyone was leading her.
At the barrier, she finally saw him, and smiled widely. She let out a sigh of relief, walking over to say hi. He didn't give her a chance to, as even a simple step in his direction made him jump up and look at her with the widest, most sincere smile she'd ever seen. His eyes were literal stars by this point. It would be disconcerting if he wasn't a outerspace being.
"You're here! You're here you're here you're here! Oh my stars! This is amazing! C'mon! We're early! We can still watch the show!"
He helped her carry the food, grabbing it in one fell swoop from her arms, and holding them like it was no big deal. This left her wondering what the hell he was eating and what granted him such strength.
She sat next to him, a little concerned about all of this. Though, it only lasted for a second, as he began to distract her. From what she couldn't possibly try to guess, but it worked, and they talked and laughed for a good while. Enjoying the delicacies given to them by their friends. The people she could consider friends. They were just so. . .nice and thoughtful, and funny, and kind, and understanding, and. .certainly something that turned her world upside down. She'd live there if she could.
"Oh! The shows starting!"
"Hm?"
She glanced to the sky. Every light, lamp, and sense of illumination was turned off. It was pitch black out. And for a bit, she was fine with it, but when nothing shown up both of her hands wrapped around his arms. It was an instinct of hers. He patted her head to show that nothing would happen, she had nothing to worry about. It'll all be ok. Course, it didn't ease her nerves, but she relaxed into him anyways.
Pitch black.
Silence.
It was quiet and cold for what felt like years. Only the little bit of warmth from her companion helped her to stay from running away. She wasn't afraid of the dark, far from it, but this was a time and place to be afraid. At least on Earth they had things to protect them. Out here, on an asteroid lazily and slowly flying the empty sky, anything could happen.
Her eyes caught a glimpse of a streak of light. She blinked a few times and wondered if it was her imagination.
Another, brighter this time.
And another.
Slowly, the lights grew in size and brightness, and became sporadic in the otherwise black abyss. A meteor shower. She couldn't believe it. She got to see one, an actual meteor shower, and being this close was spectacular. It was incredible. Breathtaking. For a moment, she wasn't sure if she'd fallen asleep and dreamt this. She may have, considering how late it was in her bodily time. Her lids had a tough time staying open before the show started.
"Isn't it beautiful? Amazing? I've waited so long to show this to you!'
It was gorgeous to her. She couldn't put it into words.
Her hand carefully worked it's way down to his own, and intertwined them. Her head rested on his shoulder, and he leaned his head on hers. A perfect moment for them.
Suddenly, words started to appear between the flashes of light.
(Meanwhile, and I'm doing this for pure comedic purposes)
Ink and Blue worked on writing out the message that they'd been asked to do. Of course, Ink had a far easier time, while Blue could barely keep his attention to a simple thing. He constantly darted from one thing to another, eyes wide and full of so much excitement, wanting to enjoy this as much as he could.
(K, back to the main story)
"What...what does that say?"
She found it confusing. Very, very confusing. Not because of what they said, but why. Why were they being written? Who was writing them? The bubbly guy next to her became giddy and couldn't sit still. His gaze shifted between her and the writing.
"Uh. . .will you be my lucky star?"
Ok. . .what?
It took a bit of explaining from him, but he told her that the only thing he had planned was the writing. Everything else was pure coincidence. She found it still very confusing, but oh well. Didn't matter too much to her. She shrugged and hugged him close to her, blushing just the smallest bit. Had her feelings really been that obvious to him?
Every time she was stopped, all she could say was, "I can't wait to get to him. He says he's got a wonderful idea." He never really left her mind. She could only think about how he'd like the foods their friends gave her, how she couldn't wait to see him after a while, that she hoped he'd like her outfit, how much she missed his laugh and smile. It never left her mind, even back home. It made her feel satisfied and whole to know he felt the same, but being extremely good at hiding his thoughts and feelings. Just another thing she adored about him.

(This is all yours getting tonight. I'm tired. And this took much too long to write. Anyways. . .yeah. I'm headed to bed. And if I butchered this character, tell me what he's supposed to act like. And maybe I'll change it.)
