A Small Scare

I watched words dance from of his lips as he read his book in silence. His eye totally focus on the bold in his hand. I could hear him flip to the next page in a complete trance. He was in his own world.

Is snuck behind his desk and smiled trying to keep my bare feet silent against the cold concrete floor. My bones did little to stay quiet, but he seemed too distracted to notice.

I smirked and got to his chair I shoved the back, jostling Gaster from his book. He spun around his startled gaze turned to a scornful one.

My gut plummeted and watched him stand, it felt like we were in slow motion.

"Don't. Ever. Do. That.  Again." Gaster said eerily calm. It scared me more than anything. I felt a knot grow in my throat as tears rushed from my sockets as I fumbled to say an excuse.

"I-I I i..."

He placed a hand and on my shoulder and lifted me up rocking me.

I nodded and cried my face burned with color.

"You understand yes?"

I nodded again.

"Good" he sighed and walked us out of his office.
