Past Mistakes [MTT and Papyrus?]

sorry for this
Mettaton tapped his foot, waiting for his friend Papyrus to arrive. He had scheduled a private meeting with him across the CORE River, which got its name because of the ice that was thrown in to help cool off the CORE all the way in Hotland. He asked to meet all the way out there because Papyrus' older brother, Sans, loved interrupting the two whenever they were alone. Papyrus never seemed to mind at all, but it pissed Mettaton off and he knew it.
"I swear he's doing that just to spite me..." MTT grumbled. Finally, he heard snow crunching, and looked up to see Papyrus' glove pushing a small branch out of the way. A little lump of snow fell to the ground from it, having been delicately balancing on the needles of the pine tree. He looked up. "Hi Mettaton! I'm here just like you asked!" he said. MTT smiled. "Hello, Papyrus," he said.
Papyrus brushed a bit of snow off his scarf before energetically bounding up to the robot. "So, what was it you wanted to tell me? You said you had something important to say, and it must be important if we had to talk all the way out here." Mettaton nodded. How to word this... he took a deep breath.
"Papyrus, since day one I've had stronger feelings than friendship for you. I'm not really sure how to word them, but I really like you. It would make me very happy if you would say you would go on a date with me." Papyrus looked surprised. "Well, I, uh, didn't really expect that kind of thing..." he said awkwardly. He suddenly looked more serious. "Now that you told me how you think of me, I may as well tell you how I think of you." Mettaton perked up a bit. "Well, go ahead," he told the skeleton. Papyrus looked right into his eyes.
"Mettaton, since I started watching your show I thought you were a great person. You were considerate when it came to your fans, had a good sense of humour, and even if you were a bit self-centred, you were still my favourite celebrity. But things have changed since then, and I feel different now." His voice lowered, sounding almost threatening.
"I'm sure you remember Frisk and Sans, do you not?" he said. Mettaton nodded. "I remember Frisk, and how could anyone forget that lazybones brother of yours..." Papyrus seemed relaxed. Too relaxed. "Well, Sans and Frisk told me some things about you that really changed how I look at you as a person, Mettaton. First of all, Sans told me what those jokes you always told me meant. That's just disgraceful. Perv." MTT felt bad now.
"Second of all, Sans told me he watched a live episode of your show a few nights back, when I was asleep. You said some very mean things to Frisk. You fully intended on killing them, and not to set monsters free. You only wanted their soul to cross the barrier by yourself and be a star on the surface, knowing it would break your cousin's poor depressed heart and take the life of an innocent human child for your own selfish desires." Mettaton felt a pang of guilt. He had said those things, and he had planned on leaving Blooky behind for fame.
"Believe me, I have a lot more I could say, but I would rather not. So if I have to finish this off, it would be with this." Mettaton looked up again — the anger sparking in the skeleton's normally gentle eyesockets startled him. "Never cross me or my brother again, and don't you dare ever go near Frisk. I don't care if they forgave you, I wouldn't care if they told me you were their best friend in the world. They've gone through enough on the surface without you making it worse. And listen up, you bucket of bolts. If I ever see you near my family again from this day forward..."
Both of his eyesockets lit up like fire, which Mettaton had never seen before. He was mad. The skeleton clenched his fists together, a blaster fading into existence behind him, its orange, angered gaze and its creepy, maddened grin burning a hole right through him with the kindle of his sins. The robot backed up against a pine tree, feeling the hard, chilly wood on his back as Papyrus spoke again.
"You're going to regret everything you have ever done since your pathetic eyes first opened to take a glance at this dark world."
