What have they done? (suaveXjasper)

(Welp, it's about the only thing I remember from the rp, Yep, totally not having a hard time thinking back at this, or feeling guilty about it in any way. Toootaly not.)

Who knew, a walk in the forest on a peaceful night could turn into such a terrible event?

They ran, away from that horrible place, away from all that had happened there. The traumatic experience that they got from that place. What place and what happened there? You might ask. I'll tell you the story of what happened.

~About two months ago~

The blood moon ball had been...rough. That was one way the put it. (<-- Tell me if you want that story as well) Jasper had healed quickly, with help of some healing magic, but suave was still getting used to his new abilities. Suave was turned into a vampire due to unfortunate events. It was weird to think at first, having to get used to drinking blood, changing into a bat, and so much more. Now he was ok with it, it only meant he could spend more time with the love of his life, Jasper.

~a few weeks later~

By this time, there hadn't been any attacks from Eterna, the hunter, since last blood moon ball. It seemed logical, she got hurt pretty badly. It was a normal day. Suave and Jasper were taking a walk in the forest. They walked hand in hand enjoying the forest. A smile was visible on their faces. It was about midnight right now.

After a while, they stopped, now standing on a cliff with a lake at the bottom of it. They sat at the edge of the cliff, looking off into the distance. A soft breeze blew by. Snap! The two jumped up, a branch snapping behind them. They looked around, there didn't seem anything wrong. Jasper and suave, having night vision as vampires, looked around the darkness of the forest. Jasper saw shadow figure at the edge of his vision and looked that way. It didn't take him long to see who it was, it was Eterna, the local hunter. Jasper would've taken a step back if he and Suave weren't at the edge of a cliff. Suave noticed the hunter and got scared. Yes, he had been threatened by Eterna before, but she isn't allowed to kill mortals because mortals that helped vampires would get their punishment from the king, king asgore. Now Suave is a vampire Eterna wouldn't hesitate to attack him as well. Jasper growled slightly as Eterna walked closer.

Eterna had two stakes out, one in each hand and ready for an attack. Both Jasper and Suave summoned some bone attacks, Suave's having a sharpened end. The reason Jasper's attack didn't have a sharpened end was that magic was rare, being forbidden in the land. If you wanted to use any form of magic, you would have to learn it. Now there were only three people known to have magic, Suave, Jasper, and Gazelle. Suave and Jasper had attacking magic while Gazelle had healing magic. Suave was just a little stronger than Jasper, because of that being able to summon stronger attacks, but back to what was going on.

Eterna didn't show any signs of feeling threatened by the attacks and only walked closer. She held up a stake, her plan was not to attack melee, but to throw the stakes at them. It didn't matter if they struck their souls, heck she would prefer they didn't, not with these two, they just had to hit. The stakes had a potion that would put them to sleep. The two vampires were requested by the royal scientist and his assistant. The two had heard of the magic and were greatly interested in it. Suave and Jasper send out a few of the bone attacks they summoned. Eterna dodged them with ease, having trained extra hard for this fight. She threw a stake, preferring to hit Suave first since he was the strongest out if the two. Both Suave and Jasper dodged the first stake, but Eterna had more. Considering her options, she decided to tire them out a little first.

Their battle looked normal to start with. Jasper and Suave managed to get away from the edge to avoid being pushed off. Eterna had also managed the get the two to tire, magic taking more out of them than usual attacks would. Eterna took this chance, only being a little worn out, and threw another stake, again aiming for Suave. He noticed it too late and the stake hit his shoulder. He let out a loud yelp of pain as the stake struck his bones. Jasper rushed to his side, totally forgetting Eterna. "Suave! Are you ok?" He was worried about suave. He was glad the hit wasn't fatal, but it would still hurt a lot. Suave quickly started to feel dizzy and started swaying on his feet. Jasper was there to support him, but he passed out only seconds after. Jasper got even more worried, not knowing if suave was going to be ok anymore. Eterna just grinned, seeing that the potion worked. She walked up behind Jasper, who was trying to get Suave to wake up and struck him in the back, just barely missing his spine. The potion started affecting Jasper and black dots came into his vision. He soon after passed out.

~time skip~

Suave woke in a new place, a place they had never seen before. The place looked like it was mostly made out of metal and a little too modern for their time. He looked around a little. The first thing he noticed, was that he was chained down. Chains around his arms keeping him to the wall. The second thing was a small cage on the table in front of him. The cage contained a small, curled up bat, but to suave, it was obvious who it was, it's Jasper. Jasper was still passed out, but wouldn't take him to much longer to wake up. Suave was glad that Jasper was unharmed, but still wondered where they were. He looked around the room, which was build up like this. A cell on the east side of the room, the one he was in, a door to the south, tables in the middle of the room, stuffed with science things like potions, syringes, random tools, etc. The cage containing Jasper was also on these tables and last but not least, a big window on the north side of the room, or at least it could be a window, it was covered with what looked like curtains to keep the light out.

By the time suave was finished examining the room, Jasper woke up. He groaned softly as he shifted into a more comfortable position. He looked around for a little, still slightly dazed. His eyes landed on suave and relieve washed over him. "Suave, I'm so glad that you are ok!" Jasper squeaked, the relieve showing in his tone. Suave smiled softly at his young lord. "I'm glad you are ok as well, but we should probably start trying to get out of here before anything bad happens." Jasper nodded and they struggled in their restrains for a little, but to no avail.

A little later, three monsters came walking in, one was unmistakable, Eterna. The other two were unknown by the vampires. They were both skeletons, the one that looked younger, wore an outfit with stars on it. The one that looked older, wore glasses and a lab-coat. The only thing Suave and Jasper were certain about, is that those two weren't up for any good. Neither of the vampires dared to say anything, not that it would've mattered for Jasper, the other three wouldn't be able to understand him. The one in the lab-coat walked up to the cell suave was in. "So you are the ones we were informed about." He looked towards Eterna. She nodded. "Yes, these are the two with magic. Be careful though, when not handled securely, they can go wild." Eterna glared at suave. "Especially him." The scientist looking guy nodded in understanding and looked back at suave, who was glaring at the three. "What do you want from us?" Suave asked. The scientist smirked and took a step away from the cell. "Show us what you are capable of." He said, then turned to Eterna. "Take him out of the cell." Eterna nodded, walking up to the cell and unlocking it with a key. She cautiously walked up to suave, ready for if he attacked. He was growling at Eterna, but other than that didn't do much. Eterna started to take off the chains, again using the keys needed.

Meanwhile, the younger boy had walked up to Jasper, who was hissing at him. He grabbed the cage with a hook on the top so Jasper wouldn't be able to bite him. The kid walked to the curtains that, most likely, covered a window. When the kid got there, Eterna walked out with a struggling suave. He had started struggling as soon as the chains were off, but Eterna managed to get a death grip on him. Eterna pushed him down onto his knees so he couldn't struggle as much anymore. Suave looked up and noticed that Jasper was gone. He got worried and looked around. His eyes landed on the kid holding Jaspers cage. The kid was looking at the scientist but didn't do much. Eterna turned suave's head so he was looking at the scientist. "Now, summon those blasters." The scientist said in a firm tone. Eterna, having already been attack by the blasters, had told the scientist about them. "What if I don't?" Suave asked, growling softly. "Than your little friend-" He pointed towards the kid and Jasper. "will hold the consequences." Eterna got suave to look towards the kid, who was reaching out for the curtains, planning on opening them ever so slightly. Jasper already had fear showing in his features, knowing how much it would hurt if the sun hit him. Suave, being smart enough not to go into the sunlight as a vampire, didn't know how much it would hurt, but had a good idea from the stories Jasper and Fallacy had told him. Suave's eyes widened. "Ok, ok, I'll work with you!" He said quickly and the kid stopped in his tracks. Jasper was visibly slightly more relaxed, but still on edge. The scientist smirked and Eterna got Suave to stand up. Suave didn't struggle anymore, summoning a smaller version of a gaster blaster. Suave's left eye turned from a heart to a dark blue oval, showing that he was using his magic. The scientist got a notebook and pencil from the table and started writing notes. Suave just watched as the scientist examined him. After a while, the scientist got to suave's eyes. "Can you change the other one as well?" He asked. "No." Suave answered. The scientist thought for a little before mumbling. "Maybe we can." Underneath his breath. "Place him back in the cell." The scientist ordered and Eterna got suave back in the cell. The baster had vanished, not having a use anymore right now. The kid brought the cage with Jasper back and placed it on the table. "Good job Orion." The scientist praised the kid. The kid, named Orion, smiled at the scientist.

The two left the room. Eterna stayed behind to watch over the two vampires. "Suave are you ok?" Jasper was worried. He couldn't really make out what had happened because of Orion. "I'm fine, don't worry." Suave was worried about the sentence 'maybe we can' from the scientist, but didn't show it, not wanting to worry Jasper. Time passed slowly, sometimes Suave and Jasper would talk, but got shut up by Eterna. Eterna would sometimes also annoy Jasper, just for the heck of it. Jasper obviously didn't like it and sometimes squeaked in surprise as it came unexpectedly.

At the end of the day, when the sun was close to setting, the scientist and Orion came back in. "We are ready, take him out." The scientist ordered Eterna. Orion walked towards the cage Jasper was in, planning on doing the same thing as before if Suave didn't want to cooperate. Eterna got suave out as told, Suave didn't struggle as much as last time, knowing what could happen if he did. The scientist motioned Eterna to followed him. They walked out of the room, Eterna bringing Suave along as well. Orion followed after setting Jasper's cage back down, leaving him alone.

Suave was brought to a separate room. A surgery table was placed in the middle of the room. Eterna bound suave down to the table. Straps were around his wrists, ankles and one around his neck, that one was a little less tight. Suave struggled slightly, the tight straps being uncomfortable and preventing him from moving much. There was a small table on the right side of Suave, holding some supplies like small tubes and a small roll of tape. The scientist told Orion to get something called 'B.M.' Orion nodded and scurried off, coming back not long after holding a bag with a blue liquid. On the bag, it again said 'B.M.' but underneath that stood in smaller letters 'Blue Magic'. Suave couldn't see the bag but was still worried and scared. The scientist stood next to the table and the surgery table suave was on. He grabbed some of the tubes. "I would keep my eyes open if I were you." The scientist said it was possible, skeletons didn't really need to blink. After saying that, the scientist shoved one of the tubes into suave's right eye. Suave flinched at the feeling of the tube in his eye socket, it was highly uncomfortable and he had to resist the urge to shut the eye. The scientist shoved more of the small tubes into Suave's eye sockets. He taped them down so they would stay in place. He connected the tubes to each other and got out a needle. He connected the tubes to the bag with the blue magic. "This might hurt." The scientist said. With that, the liquid went through the tubes and flowed freely into Suave's eye socket. The liquid burned. It burned inside Suave's eye socket. Suave screamed it hurt a lot. The liquid kept going until the bag was empty, but suave didn't stop screaming yet, his eye socket was still burning. The scientist took out the tubes after the bag was empty. Suave's eye light was gone, only the black void of his eye socket remained. Orion held out a bandage to the scientist. He took them and wrapped it around suave's skull and eye. Orion got out another syringe and injected the liquid into suave's neck. Suave passed out not long after.

~time skip~

Suave had been placed back into the cell. Jasper had been placed next to suave. For what Eterna, Orion, and the scientist could see, Jasper was the only one there that could calm Suave down or could be used to get him to cooperate. It was now around midnight, Suave woke up. Jasper quickly noticed. "Suave! Are you ok?" Jasper asked, worried out of his mind. Suave gave a small nod. "I'm fine Jasper." Suave shifted to a more comfortable position. Jasper would've brought Suave into a hug that would comfort both because Jasper was still worried for Suave, but he couldn't, not with the chains. Suave could still feel the bandages around his skull, he shivered slightly, thinking back to what had happened. "Suave, can you tell me what happened?" Jasper had heard Suave when the magic was poured into his socket, it only got him worried and when they brought an unconscious Suave back with and bandage around his skull it only got worse. Suave hesitated with telling Jasper what had happened. He knew it was hard to hide, but he didn't want Jasper to worry, not telling him wouldn't help with that. After a little hesitation, Suave gave in. He told Jasper what happened, not in full detail, but still enough to get a good idea. The story made Jasper want to comfort Suave even more.

Just after Suave finished the story, Eterna came in to check on them, like she has done a few times now. Eterna saw that Suave was awake. "Huh, I see you're awake." Suave gave Eterna a hateful glare. "What do you want?" He growled softly. "I just came to check on you, geez." Eterna rolled her eyes. "I also came to tell you that that bandage will come off in a day or two, thought you might want to know." Eterna told them. "What did you do to my eye?" Suave asked, hoping it wasn't anything too bad. "Don't ask me, I'm just here to keep you two in check." Eterna said it was true, she had no idea what the other two were doing. Both Suave and Jasper were worried about what had happened to Suave's eye. Jasper, after some time, let out a small yawn. He and Suave had been up the whole day if you don't count Suave being unconscious. "Get some sleep Jasper." Suave said in a soft tone. Jasper looked at Suave. "What about you?" He asked. "We'll sleep in turns, so they can't take one of us without the other knowing. I'll wake you after a while." Suave answered. Jasper nodded and laid back against the wall, falling asleep not long after.

~What had happened at the castle~

It was quickly noticed that Suave and Jasper were missing. Some of the servants had been sent out to go look for them and even Fallacy had gone looking for them but to no avail. One or two servants had even gone to the village to see if they had been caught and put in the dungeons, but they weren't there. The two were nowhere to be found. No one in the castle was ready to give up yet, there were still chances that they were alive. Everyone was worried about them but hopeful for their return.

~Back with Suave and Jasper+time skip~

Suave and Jasper took turns sleeping as said, it was good for them to get some sleep. Two days went by slow, nothing too big had happened in the meanwhile. Suave and Jasper had learned the name of the scientist, his name is Simon. Today was the day Suave's bandages could come off. Suave was led out the cell. Orion took off the bandage and Simon inspected the eye with a wide grin, giving away that whatever they had tried worked. Simon wrote some more notes before sending Suave back into the cell. Suave didn't feel anything odd about his eye, the burning had already faded when he woke up. Jasper asked to see his eye and Suave showed it. Jasper let out a small gasp upon seeing Suave's eyes. His left eye was the usual upside-down heart, but his right eye had changed from a purple-pink oval to a dark blue oval, one like his magic eye. "Suave, please tell me that you are using a type of magic right now." Jasper said. He knew it wasn't Suave's normal magic eye, but he wanted to be sure anyway. "No, what did they do to my eye?" "They activated the other blue eye." Jasper answered. He was worried because magic drained, they had a limited amount, and with Suave's other eye being activated, it might only drain his magic further and that's not good. Suave had the same idea, this was anything but good. Suave and Jasper were left alone.

Days passed, Suave had been tested on more and more, about once every day, giving him less than a day to recover. Jasper has been threatened a few times to get Suave to work with them. Jasper could also hear everything they did to suave, at least, all the painful stuff. Every time Suave came back, Jasper comforted him. They were each others line of sanity.

During these days, something else had changed, Suave was the only one that knew, he felt that it had changed. The experiments had started to change his physical form. How? The experiments had given Suave a tail! The only reason no one had noticed was that suave kept it hidden in his pants. Yes, sometimes it was uncomfortable, but the tail wasn't that long yet, so it would be fine for some longer. Though, Suave knew he had to at least tell Jasper. Suave sighed, thinking if he should tell Jasper now instead of waiting for Jasper to find out himself. Jasper noticed that something was bothering Suave. "Suave, is something wrong?" Suave got snapped out of his thoughts as Jasper talked to him. "No, I'm fine Jasper." Suave said, still thinking that it might be better to not tell Jasper. Though, Jasper didn't buy it. "Suave please tell me what's wrong, obviously you're not ok." Jasper knew it could be one of the tests, but until now, Suave had told Jasper about everyone test, maybe not in full detail, but he still told him about them. The fact that Suave was hiding something made Jasper worry more, making him jump to the worse conclusions. Maybe suave was breaking from the test? Maybe it had something to do with him? Jasper wasn't sure what it was, but he was sure to help Suave with it. Suave looked at Jasper, hesitation showing in his eyes. Jasper noticed it. "Suave you know you can tell me anything." Suave took in a deep breath. "I know Jasper. I should tell you." Suave pulled his tail out of his pants. Jasper saw it and gasps. "Since when do yo-" "I've had it for a day or three now." Suave admitted, interrupting Jasper. "Do they..?" "No, they don't know about it." Suave answered. "And I rather keep it that way for some longer." He continued. Suave tugged his tail back into his pants. Jasper nodded. "Ok, I won't tell them." Suave gave Jasper a small smile. "Thank you." "No problem." Jasper smiled back.

As more days passed, Suave's tail kept growing. More experiments, only Suave got to go through them. He was glad they didn't hurt Jasper, but he wished they could go home. Simon noticed suave's tail and with that suave found out how sensitive his new tail was. Simon had tested on suave's tail and it hurt, one of the most painful experiments.

Simon, Orion, and Eterna walked in. It hadn't even been a full day since the last experiment. Suave readied himself for whatever could be next, what he didn't expect was that both him and Jasper were taken out of the cell. They didn't struggle, mostly because Eterna was holding Jasper in a literal death grip. The both of them were brought to the same room Suave knew all too well. Jasper was scared, this being the first time they took Jasper as well. Suave was worried about Jasper, not knowing what they would do to him. What was noticeable in the room, was that there were two surgery tables now. Both Suave and Jasper were strapped down to them. Jasper was on the right side of Suave, a gap wide enough to walk through was in between the tables. There also was a small table in between Suave and Jasper. On the table lay different objects, two iron plates, a drill and some screws. Both vampires had noticed the objects, getting a slight idea of what could happen to them. Simon picked up the slightly smaller plate and the drill, walking to Jaspers right hand. Suave glared at Simon as if telling him not to hurt Jasper. Simon ignored Suave, laying the plate on the back of Jaspers' hand. Jasper squirmed slightly, not liking the feeling of the iron plate on his hand. Suave let his tail slip out and go over to Jaspers left hand, letting Jasper squeeze it, knowing there will be a lot of pain. Jasper felt Suave's tail and gripped it, not to tight though, seeking some comfort. Suave braised himself for what was going to come. Simon placed the drill in one of the four holes on the corners of the plate and started drilling a hole into Jaspers' hand. Jasper flinched and screamed in pain, now holding Suave's tail tight, a little too tight maybe. Suave groaned slightly, while Jasper squeezed his tail. Simon wasn't done after the first hole. He continued, drilling three more. Jasper quickly had tears streaming down his face, crying in pain.

The holes were made, now Simon took four of the little screws of the table and one by one screwed them into Jaspers' hand, making sure the plate was staying on, the tighter they were the longer it stayed on, but also the more pain it caused to Jasper. Jasper whimpered loudly, tears still streaming down his face.

After Simon finished with Jasper, he went to Suave. Jaspers grip lossend slightly when he realized he was crushing Suave's tail. Suave wrapped his tail around Jaspers' hand some more, getting ready for the pain. Simon started drilling the holes into Suave's hand. Suave screamed, his tail getting tighter around Jaspers' hand, trying to get some sort of comfort. After the holes were drilled, Simon went on with the screws. Again, the tighter, the longer it stayed on, the more pain Suave was in.

They were released after Simon was finished. The first thing the two vampires did was hug each other. Jasper still had tears running down his face. "Shhhh...it's over, we're ok." Suave said, stroking Jaspers skull with his unharmed hand. "I-it hurts." Jasper whimpered, burying his face in Suave's chest. "I know." Suave said back. He looked up only to glare at Simon. Simon didn't say anything, (Simon says, be quiet!) cleaning up some unused supplies. After a while, Simon talked. He said: "Take them back." With that Eterna came walking into the room, most likely having waited just outside of it. She tried to separate the two vampires, but to no avail, if anything, the two only held each other tighter. After a little while of trying, she gave up. She took them back to the cell like that. They could be like that for a while.

The cell door was locked, but Suave and Jasper weren't chained down. They had calmed down, but the pain wasn't gone yet. Suave was sitting on the floor, his back against the wall and Jasper on his lap. They were cuddling with each other. After some time, they pulled apart slightly. Suave looked at the hand which had the plate. On the plate was a small text, it said 'S,O, TS1', Jaspers said about the same only his one ended with 'TS2'. Suave moved his fingers slightly, hissing slightly in pain. Well, at least he could still move his hand and fingers. Suave looked down at Jasper. "Jasper?" He asked. Jasper looked up at him. "Yes?" Jasper answered. "Can you move your hand?" Suave asked, wanting to make sure there wasn't any permanent damage to Jaspers' hand. Jasper held out his hand and slowly moved his fingers. He flinched as a wave of pain hit him. Suave quickly brought him back into a hug. Suave stroked the back of Jaspers skull in a calming way. It calmed Jasper, they both hoped the pain of their hands would go away soon.

The end of that day, both of them were chained to the wall again, being forced to let go of each other. Neither of them liked that idea. Their hands had started to become numb to the pain, though were still hurting and the plates were uncomfortable. They once again slept in shifts for the day, switching about every hour.

~two weeks later~

Nothing but experiments...Jasper hadn't been taken in anymore, just Suave. They got worse and worse every day. It started taking it's toll on him, though, Jasper and Suave had more time just being locked up, not chained. It was probably so they could comfort each other, or more Jasper comforting Suave. Suave had had a few breakdowns during these two weeks. Suave would sometimes just collapse, seemingly at random times, but there was a slight pattern, it was usually after they did something almost twice as bad as the day before or it would all just get too much and he needed to let everything out for a little while. Jasper was always there when suave needed him, he helped to get Suave back up. The only thing Simon and Orion did was take notes when they walked in on one of Suave's breakdowns, while Eterna mostly kept guard. Suave still had his right eye activated and his tail had grown so much that it almost hit the ground. Those two things didn't help Suave.

Suave was taken out again...this time into a different room. It was completely white, like a room you would find in an asylum. The walls were thick and most likely soundproof. The only thing in the room was a surgery table. Suave was strapped down to the thing, he seemed to be calm, was he getting used to the experiments? No, he couldn't! Surprisingly, they didn't do anything. They left suave there, in that room, strapped to the table. What were they planning?

Suave was left there for hours upon hours. Both vampires started to worry, Suave was worried for Jasper, would they start testing on him now? What would he think if he didn't come back? Jasper was worried about Suave, thinking the experiment might have been too much. D-did Suave...die? No...he couldn't, could he?

Another week passed...more experiments. Suave was tested on more, barely getting off of the table. Eterna walked in. Suave looked over at her. "What do you have in store today?" Suave sounded different, almost depressed. It wouldn't be that big of a surprise, seeing that he was treated like a nothing. "Nothing too special. Simon wanted me to ask you this. If you could leave this room for one day, would you?" Eterna asked. Suave thought of this as another experiment, a brain teaser. He had to be smart with this. "What's the catch for me?" He asked. "Just answer the question." Eterna rolled her eyes. Suave thought for a while before answering: "Maybe." Eterna smirked. "Well maybe you could've left the room and see your friend again, but you didn't give me a definite answer." She shrugged. She watched as Suave's expression changed. He seemed to become even more depressed. Eterna chuckled and turned to leave the room again. Suave broke down, crying. He missed Jasper so much, he missed how everything was before this.

Suave wasn't the only one who missed everything. Jasper missed it as well. Just like Suave, the loneliness had changed Jasper, but in a different way than Suave. Jasper, instead of getting depressed, became emotionless. He was looking towards the ground, his eyes dull. One thing stood out in his head 'when are they switching over to me?'. In his head, suave had died and it wouldn't take much longer until they started experimenting on him.

Eterna walked in and smirked seeing the state Jasper was in. Jasper noticed she had walked in, but didn't react. "Having fun on your own?" She smirked, Jasper stayed silent. Of course he wasn't having fun. Eterna just grinned. "You know, you remind me a lot of the other, just more silent." Eterna said. At first, it didn't sink into Jasper. Eterna grinned at the fact that Jasper didn't seem to care anymore. Eterna left again.

It took Jasper another hour to realize what Eterna said. Suave was still alive. Happiness overtook him. He smiled widely, tears of happiness started streaming down his face. It had been so long since they've seen each other. Both wanted to know how the other was doing, but with what was going on, that still seemed a long time away. Or was it?

~time skip a few days~

Simon, Orion, and Eterna walked into the room Suave was in. Suave looked over. Simon was holding a syringe with an, almost glowing, red liquid. "What is that?" Suave asked. "This is something called determination." Simon answered. Suave's eyes widen. He had read about this when he and Jasper were learning more about magic. "Isn't that dangerous for monsters?" "It is, but you should be able to hold it." Simon answered Suave. Simon walked over and stabbed the syringe into Suave's neck, injecting the determination in his system. Suave started screaming, it felt as if everything suddenly started burning. He thrashed around, trying to get out of the straps that had held him down for so long. The burning wasn't the only side effect of the DT, something else happened. Suave's physical form shifted. His bones broke and reformed, shifting into different places, the plate on his hand shattered, some of his bones growing and some shrinking, almost none stayed the same. For Suave it felt as if every bone in his body was broken at the same time. Around the end of the disturbing transformation, Suave's screams turned into loud growling. In front of the three mortals stood now a beast. Suave had shifted into a dog-like form, but a lot bigger than a normal dog. He was about as tall as a normal monster on shoulder height. His head was shaped like a gaster blaster. It scared the three mortals, who had no way to defend themselves. Eterna jumped in front of the scientist and his assistant, getting out a stake. She would be able to stab Suave, that would work, right? Wrong. The next thing Suave did was charge, a blue ball of energy forming in his mouth, just like every other blaster could do. Both Simon and Orion fled, Eterna stayed, but only to stop Suave from killing everyone there. Eterna went for the attack before Suave had fully charged, which didn't have much effect because Suave blasted her just before she hit him. She was blasted back towards a wall, being slammed into it, badly hurt. Suave ran out of the room, not wanting to stay in there for another second. He went to find Jasper.

Jasper was still in the cell, not having had any chance to come out. He was still believing that Suave lived, but with the fact that he didn't have any clue if Eterna was even speaking the truth, was hard to keep believing. With that, Jasper was starting to slip back into his emotionless state. At that moment, Suave ran into the room, still in his blaster form. Jasper was startled to say the least and tried to crawl back as much as he could, being chained to the wall. Suave noticed the sudden fear in Jaspers features. He tried talking, but all that came out were growls, only scaring Jasper more. Suave stopped trying to talk and gave Jasper a concerned look. He laid down as to show he wasn't going to attack. Jasper glanced over Suave, taking in the features. Suave laid his paw with the screws still in his hand in view of Jasper. Jasper took a while to notice it, but when he did, his eyes widen. "S-Suave?" Jasper asked, not sure if what he was seeing was real. Suave nodded. Jasper smiled softly. Suave got up again and charged a small blast, blasting the cell open. Jasper jumped slightly but kept calm. After Suave broke into the cage, he went up to Jasper. He nuzzled Jaspers arm, close to the chains. Jasper got what Suave meant and moved his arms slightly so there was more access to the chain. Suave leaned his head towards the chain and bit through it with ease. Jaspers arm fell to his side. Suave went to the other chain, doing the same thing. Jasper got up, stretching, sore from being in the same position for a long time. Suave nuzzled Jasper slightly. Jasper hugged Suave, or more like hugged Suave's skull. Both Suave and Jasper were glad that the other was alive. Jasper was worried about what had happened to Suave. He let go after a while bit. "Suave what did they do?" Suave didn't answer, he couldn't speak in this form. Jasper sighed softly. Suave nudged him. Jasper looked at Suave. Suave motioned for Jasper to get on his back. Jasper was hesitant but still did so. He got onto Suave's back.

Suave got up and started going out of the building. Jasper held onto Suave. As soon as they were out of the building, Suave started running. Jasper held on tight. Suave ran, going as fast as he could, wanting to get away as fast as he could and the fact that the sun was rising soon didn't help the two vampires. Suave tried to get an idea of where they were. After a while, Suave noticed that the forest was getting more known to him. Suave quickly made his way to the castle, the sun already starting to slowly come up. Suave stopped at the castle's doors, looking back to see the sun coming up. Jasper got off of suave's back and headed towards the door, opening it. Suave thought, could he transform back? He used the trick he learned to transform into a bat. It took him a little bit of time before a transformation started. His bones started snapping again. The sound took Jasper by surprise and he jumped turning to look at Suave. Suave didn't seem to be in a lot of pain with the transformation. Jasper ran up to Suave after the transformation. "Suave! Are you ok!?" Jasper asked, worried. Suave smiled and hugged Jasper tight. Jasper didn't hesitate to hug him back. Suave was happy that he wasn't stuck in that form. "I'm fine Jasper." Suave said. Their hug lasted a while before they realized they should really head inside.

The two went inside, quickly closing the door behind them. They were glad to be back home. Though the aura in the castle was different, it was a lot sadder, but the two had kinda expected it. The first thing the two went to do was go to Fallacys and Encre's room, the two must have been so worried, just like the rest of the castle. Jasper and Suave knocked on their bedroom door, knowing they might be in bed already. The door opened. "What is i-" Fallacy started, but cut himself off seeing Jasper and Suave stand there. Relieve seemed to take him over, but it was almost as if he didn't know if they were actually there. Fallacys sudden silence got Encre's attention as well. He made his way over to the door and almost laughed at how happy he was the two were back. Both Suave and Jasper had a bright smile on their faces. Jasper pulled his father into a hug, fallacy hugged him back. Everyone was at a loss for words, no one needed to speak, the happy aura around them explained everything.

After a while of silence between them, encre found his words. "Suave, Jasper, where have you two been?" Suave and Jasper looked at each other, silently asking each other if they should tell most or leave out the details. After a small moment, Jasper answered. "We have been captured and...well..." Jasper was fumbling with his hands slightly, not liking the fact that they had to think back to that. Fallacy noticed that something on Jaspers hand was reflecting the dim light in the hallway. Thinking Jasper was holding something, Fallacy asked: "Jasper, what's that in your hands." Jasper froze slightly, the plate. Suave knew this would be hard on Jasper, since it was the only thing that caused Jasper physical pain. He put an arm around Jasper, bringing him close. Jasper held out his hand, showing Fallacy and Encre the plate. Fallacy took Jaspers hand to examine the plate. Jaspers closed his eyes, knowing Fallacy would be careful. "Who did this?" Fallacy asked, looking up to Jasper and Suave. Suave answered the question. "Some mortal scientist named Simon." Fallacy nodded, he might have to visit that scientist some time soon. Fallacy looked back at the plate. "We should get it off as soon as possible." Fallacy said. Jasper and Suave nodded in agreement. Encre was thinking a little before saying: "I may have some tools that could help in my studio." "Good, can you go get them?" Fallacy asked. Encre nodded and went to grab them. Fallacy lead the other two into the room. Suave and Jasper sat down on the bed. Fallacy asked a few more questions about what had happened, Jasper and Suave had said to some that they rather not tell, Fallacy understood that. It didn't take long before Encre came back. He walked onto the room and set the toolbox down. "Can I see your plate?" Encre asked. Jasper nodded and held out his hand. Encre looked to see what he needed to get the plate off. After a while, Encre grabbed a tool and held Jaspers hand still. What Jasper was already expecting was that it would hurt, even if it was just a little. Jasper grabbed Suave's hand, preparing for the pain. Suave griped Jaspers hand back, hoping he could give some comfort. Encre started to take out the screws. Jasper whimpered slightly, but knew this had to happen. Encre tried to do this fast and painless, going fast and taking the screws out. The plate fell off after a minute or so. Jasper was relieved the thing was finally off. Encre looked at Suave. "Do you also have one of them?" Suave nodded and showed the hand his plate was on. Only he had just the parts at the screws left, the rest having shattered in his awful transformation. Encre started working on Suave's hand, taking off the screws and last pieces of the plate. Suave hissed slightly, but didn't struggle. He moved his hand slightly after the parts fell off. It stung a little, but nothing he couldn't handled and he was sure Jasper would be able to deal with it for a while. If it was ok, then their hands should be back to normal in a few days. Both thanked Encre for taking off the plates. "No problem." Encre said in return, putting away the tool.

It was already late, everyone should go to sleep by now. Suave let a small yawn escape him. Not surprisingly, he had slept the least, having been on edge day and night for the last few weeks. Jasper stood up. "We should all go to bed. This was hard for us all." Encre, Fallacy, and Suave nodded. Suave got up and well and the four wished each other good night (or what should've been a 'good day') and Jasper and Suave went to their room. Both fell down on the bed, not bothering to change into their nightwear. Though, even if they knew they were safe, neither of them could seem to get any type of sleep. Maybe they expected themselves to wake up back in the lab? Or just the feeling of having the idea that someone can always walk in without reason and bring great harm? Whatever it was, it didn't help them sleep. Jasper turned to his side and hugged Suave. Suave smiled softly and hugged back. The two felt safe in each other's arms. A feeling of reassurance and safety washed over them, chasing away all the fear and insecurity. They started to drift off to sleep in each other's arms.

Finally, they were safe again.

Were they?

(Wow, I just love happy endings! Rip freaking roleplay. Might make a little continuation with a different story plot. I might! I'm not sure yet!
See ya, Lisa)
