~A year after fallacy started to lose himself~
Encre walked out of the small house at the edge of the village that he and his brother peinture. Encre was an artist and his brother was a engineer. They where the only two that did waht they do and the rest of the villagers found them weird. Encre had to buy some new art supply and there was only one shop that selled them, located at the other side of the village. Encre walked over the small bridge and entered the village. The rest of the village was just waking up, opening their windows and saying good morning to their neighbors as they got out of their houses. Encre was just humming saying hi as other people talked to him, but stayed quiet if they didn't. The streets are crowded like every morning, but encre was fast to dodge everyone and not bump into someone. He came past a baker, a blacksmith who asked where he was going, some others shops and some people that he could hear were talking about him and his brother without knowing that he could hear them. Encre jumped onto the back of a coach to dodge some more people. He heard the driver talk. "Bonjour!" A woman responded to him with a kind smile. "Good day!" Encre jumped off before he could hear more of the conversation. He continued walking. Encre went on with where he was going, it was getting almost usual for him to walk this path and knew where to go and how to get there. To be honest he was starting to get bored of it. He had painted everything in the small village and wanted to go out and explore. His brother didn't want him to go out, believing the stories about the vampires in the nearby forest. Encre, on the other end, didn't believe in the stories, thinking that it was just to keep little kids from getting lost in the forest. He got what he needed and soon got back to the bridge and passed it. Suddenly a explosion could be heard from the house and smoke came out. Encre ran to the house and trew open the door. "Peinture!" He called out for his brother. "How on earth did that happen?!" He could hear peinture yell from the basement where he was working on his newest machine. Encre went down, couching a bit from the smoke. "Are you ok brother?" Encre asked, peinture turned to him. "Oh encre, yeah i'm fine, but I can't seem to get this machine to work." He kicked it, not hard enough to break it of course. Encre just smiled at his brother. "You always say that." "I mean it this time! I will never get this to work!" Peinture said. "Yes, you will." Encre walked up to him. "And you'll win first prize at the fair tomorrow." Peinture huffed. "And become a worlds famous inventor~" encre cooed. Peinture seemed to think about that and looked back at encre. "You really believe that?" He asked. Encre nodded. "I always have." Peinture seemed to bright up again. "Well, what are we waiting for? I'll have this thing working in no time!" Peinture went back to working on the machine, which was mostly made out of old trash. "Can you hand me the uhh what was it called again..?" Encre had already gotten it when peinture was thinking about the name. "Here you go." "Yeah that, thanks bro." "No problem." Encre sat down somewhere, watching his brother work. Encre sighed. "What's wrong?" Peinture asked him. "I just want to go out, see new things, meet new people." Encre said, leaning back where he was sitting. Peinture got out from underneath the machine. "You know you can't, it would he to dangerous." He said, looking at encre. "I know, everyone keeps saying that, but to be honest I don't believe the stories." "You should, they are true, how else would you explain the missing people?" "I don't know, random chance?" Peinture looked at encre with serious eyes. "We both know that isn't true." "Fine, fine, but that doesn't stop me from wanting new adventure." "Of course it doesn't." Peinture turned back to his machine, and layed his hand on a handle. "Let's see if it works now." He pulled the handle and the machine started doing it's thing, it was actualy working! "It's working!" Peinture yelled, happy that it was. "I'm going to win that fair!" peinture had to go through the forest the next day to show his machine to the rest of france and maybe the world. Eterna had told him he would make it back home before sunset if he went just after the sun came up, so he did that and left just after sun rise. Encre was there to wave him goodbye. After that encre went back into their house to get a little more sleep. Eterna was still hunting down some small bats in the forest as peinture passed her, she wish him good luck on his journey. He thanked her and continued. After about an hour of traveling the forest started to grow darker, a storm was approaching. Peinture had started to get trouble seeing in the dark forest. "We should have been there by now..." He said to himself. "I must have missed a turn. Maybe I should've taken the-- wait a minute..." peinture could see some signs, but couldn't make out what they said. His horse took the path to the left, but peinture stopped him. He wanted to take the path to the right, as the map he had told him it would be faster. "Wait, let's go this way." He told the horse, pulling it to the even darker path. It looked like it was haunted, but I can reasure you that that isn't true. They walked down the road as it became darker. You could hear shuffeling in the bushes. The horse heard it and started to look around in slight panic, peinture was starting to get scared. "Let's just turn around and take the other path." He said, turning around. Than bats came flying towards them. The horse started running and peitune quickly climbed on it's back. The horse ran and ran, but ended up at a cliff. It had to stop and so did the bats, turning back to their other forms, some human, some monsters. Peinture was trapped or at least they thougt so. The horse freaken out and started running, two of the vampires chased after it and the rest walked up to peinture. It finally started raining. Peinture ran, if he wouldn't he would have died for sure. It would at least give him some chance to survive. He ran, leaving the vampires confused at first. They soon followed him, but he was faster. He reached an old castle in the forest and knocked on the door, it opened up for him and left the vampires outside. "Wow..." The castle looked beautiful, 'a perfect place for encre to paint.' He thought to himself. "Hello?" Peinture called into the apearantly empty halls...
