Wingdings X Reader

F/m = favorite movie

I yawned, struggling to keep my eyes open.

"You know you can go to bed y/n. You don't need to wait for me." Wingdings patted my head, turning back to his blueprints.

I shook my head slowly. "But Dings, you said we could watch a movie together tonight, so I'm waiting 'till you're done."

He sighed. "I'm truly sorry y/n, but we might have to postpone the movie night. I've just made a breakthrough, and I need to get on it." He said, motioning to the pile of papers scattered on his desk.

I frowned slightly. "But that's what you said last time; and the time before; and before that. We haven't had a movie night in months."

He turned to me with a guilty and sad expression. "I- I suppose that's true... You know what, let's do it! Friends are more important than science!" He scooped me off my chair and carried me onto the couch. "So, what're we gonna watch?"

I rubbed my eye, trying to wake up a little. "I was thinking f/m."

"Again?" He chuckled as he turned on the tv. "Okay." He sat down next to me as the movie started. Only a few minutes in, I was already falling asleep. I felt something warm wrap around me. I snuggled in and fell asleep.

Wingdings' POV

I watched y/n quickly fall asleep. I smiled and threw my lab coat over the both of us, like a blanket. She smiled slightly and snuggled up to my side, causing me to freeze up. I gently put my arms around her and fell asleep.

I woke up before her, so I decided to stroke her hair. It's very soft, and smells like berries. Being a skeleton, I didn't have hair, so I loved touching hers.

She shifted slightly, so I stopped petting her. She yawned and lazily opened one eye.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked softly, so as not to startle her. She turned to face me, and jumped slightly, blushing.

"H-Hi Wingdings. D- Did I fall asleep on you?"

I chuckled. She's so cute! "Yes. You fell asleep before the movie even got started."

"Oh." She looked away, yawning again.

We laid there for a while, relaxing in the dimly lit family room. And then, I heard an all-too-familiar click, and a small flash from the stairs.

I twisted my head around, eyes glowing. They illuminated the outlines of five skeletons, giggling with their phones out. "Wanna have a bad time?" I growled. They all ran wide-eyes up the stairs.

Hey guys! Just wanted to say I started a new book called 'The First Human [X Sans]' so if you're into that, go check it out! I should be publishing both this book and that one more regularly, now that school's out for the summer. Anyway, enough self-promotion!
Love you, my little stars!
