Underswap Sans X Reader
I ran behind the conveniently-shaped plant, like Papyrus told me to. It actually was quite convenient.
"Sup, bro?" Papyrus waved lazily.
"You know what's 'sup', brother! It's been 8 days and you still haven't recalibrated. Your. PUZZLES! What are you even doing!?" A high-pitched voice responded angrily. Or at least- tried to be. It was really just cute. That must have been Sans, Papyrus' brother he mentioned.
"Staring at this plant. It's really cool. Wanna check it out?" Papyrus!? I trusted you!
"No!! I don't have time for that! I will be the one! I must be the one! I will capture a human!!"
Papyrus smirked. "Maybe this plant will help you."
"Papyrus, I swear! You get lazier and lazier every day!"
"Hey, I've gotten a ton of work don't today." He said defensively. "A skele-ton!" He turned and winked at me, causing me to snort covering up my laugh.
"PAPYRUS!!!"
"Come on, you're smiling. Admit it." He grinned.
"I am, and I hate it!" Sans huffed. "Why does someone as great as me... Have to do so much just to get some recognition?"
"Jeez, bro. It sounds like you're working yourself- down to the bone!" He turned and shrugged at me grinning. I couldn't help myself; I laughed.
I covered up my mouth, hoping Sans didn't hear.
"Papyrus. Did you hear that?" I heard footsteps coming closer.
I glanced at Papyrus, silently begging him for help. He just chuckled and stood there. The betrayal is real!
"Is that-?" Sans' voice was very close now. "A HUMAN?!!!"
Suddenly I was in the air, being carried, facing the ceiling of the cave. "Sans, put the kid down."
"Oof!" I hit the ground kinda hard, knocking the air out of me. I spun around and looked at Sans for the first time. He had on a grey shirt and pants, with bright blue gloves, boots, and a scarf. He. Was. Adorable!
"Uhh..." Sans blushed slightly under my gaze.
"Oh! S-Sorry!" I looked away. I looked at Papyrus, but he didn't seem to be ready to intervene.
"Ahem. Human! I, the Magnificent Sans, have captured you! Let me take you to my human containment unit, until Undyne can take you to the capital." He lifted me up, more gently this time, sending a glance at Papyrus, before taking my hand and leading me through the woods.
After running for a couple minutes, Sans slowed down to a walk; I was secretly relieved, I was starting to get tired. We strolled through the forest in silence for a while. Soon, we reached a small town. The sign said it's 'Snowdin'.
"Um, Sans?" I asked cautiously. I didn't want him to freak out and attack me or something. "Where are we exactly? And where are we going?"
"Aha! This is the town of Snowdin! This is where me and my brother, Papyrus live. I am going to take you to our jail cell, that Papyrus sometimes refers to as, 'our garage'." Sans shrugged. We stopped in front of a shed next to a large house.
"I- ah, I hate to leave you in there by yourself." Sans blushed slightly, unlocking the door. Inside was a dog-bed, a bowl of dog-food, and bars that were too wide to stop anyone. "It tends to get a little chilly in here at night."
"I- I'm sure it will be fine." I sighed, resigning to the fact that Sans is going to turn me in, no matter how cute he is.
"No." He said quietly. I almost didn't hear him. "You know what, no! If you stay in here, you will be cold, and may get sick! That is just cruel. And, I will be able to keep a closer eye on you if you're in the house with me. You will be at my side until Undyne can come get you!" He hugged me tight, and led me into the house.
After making tacos and having fun together, Sans and I sat down to watch a movie. I stayed up to finish the movie, but Sans fell asleep halfway through, snuggling up to my side. I blushed, but smiled at how small and adorable he was.
Soon after the movie ended, Papyrus walked in, staring at the two of us. I felt the heat rising to my cheeks. Papyrus walked over to me with a blank expression. I couldn't tell what he was thinking.
He leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Don't hurt him, or I'll give you a bad time, capiche? I trust you, kid." I sat there in shock for a second, until there was a click.
I looked up and saw Papyrus grinning with his phone out. "I ship it." And then he strolled up the stairs, leaving me to blush profusely.
I fell asleep, curled up next to the cutest skeleton I knew. I wonder what goat dad would think of this...
Love you, my little stars!
