"And you're sure this is safe, Alphys?" I eyed the vial suspiciously.
"A-Absolutely. I-I've checked m-my notes multiple t-times. I-I don't w-want to h-hurt you." Alphys smiled nervously.
I'd been living in the Underground for 5 years now; I'm 16. I lived with Sans and Papyrus in Snowdin. I missed my life on the surface, but we couldn't break the barrier, and I love my monster family too much to leave.
"Alright. I trust you." I grinned at Alphys, and threw Sans a cocky look as I tipped my head back. "Mm. Not bad." I raised my eyebrows in surprise.
And then I screamed. "Gah! Never mind!" I felt dizzy and fell over. The room was spinning so hard I couldn't see anything. I felt like I was about to throw up, when I blacked out.

"Ugh..." I tried to open my eyes, but the harsh lab lights burned my eyes. I heard loud footsteps, and Sans voice.
"Y/N, you're awake! Oh good, I thought you were dead!" I was feeling significantly better than I was before, so I sat up, rubbing my head.
"Where am I?" I felt cold metal under my hand.
"Umm... Ya see... Heh, uh... Open your eyes?" Sans sounded nervous; Sans is almost never nervous.
I cautiously opened my eyes and gasped loudly. "SANS!?" I. Was. Tiny!
I was sitting on Alphys metal table, staring up at Sans. I must have been 5 inches tall!
"Where's Alphys?" I stood up, feeling very insignificant.
"She's in the other room, I'll take you to her." He gently set his hand on the counter, and I climbed on. I fit snugly in the palm of his boney hand. I got a close look, and realized how many small bones are in a hand. He walked into the next room, jostling me gently.
This is so weird..
"Hey Al! The kiddo's up! Well, as 'up' as they can get. Kinda short now." He chuckled, bouncing me in his hand.
"O-Oh good! I hope you're f-feeling well, you were tossing and turning in your sleep."
"Did you know it was going to do this?" I asked, standing up carefully.
"W-Well, there w-was a very g-good chance this w-was the outcome." She wrote down a couple notes on her clipboard.
"How long is this gonna last? I can't be small forever!" I threw my arms up in exasperation. Sans laughed really hard, making me fall on my butt. "Hey, small person here!"
"S-Sorry kiddo. It- It's just- Your voice is so high-pitched! It's adorable!" I puffed out my cheeks in anger, causing him to laugh again.
"S-Sorry, Y/N, b-but this could l-last for up to th-three days at most." Alphys down looked at me nervously. I growled, and realized how high my voice really was.
"Can we just go home? I'm tired." I laid down flat in his palm, closing my eyes.
He chuckled. "Well, Al? Do we have the okay?"
"Yes. But p-please, be careful, o-okay? I would hate f-for Y/N to die by someone st-stepping on her. It'd be my fault!"
"Right. See ya!" I felt Sans start walking.
"W-Wait! Sans, p-promise you won't t-teleport with Y/N, okay? Her skeletal structure is so small a-and frail, s-she might not b-be able to h-handle it."
"You know I don't like promises Al." He sighed and looked down at me. "But I'll try real hard for the kid." We stepped out the front door of the lab, and Sans started chuckling.
"What's so funny?"
"Wanna try it?"
I smiled. "You know me so well!"
We warped, and I felt just about the same. "Ya okay?"
"Heh, yeah! Maybe a little woozy, but fine." I yawned super hard. "But I'm really tired now."
"Well, where are ya gonna sleep? You don't exactly fit in your bed anymore."
I yawned again. "Dunno. Too tired." I curled up in his hand and fell asleep instantly.
Sans' POV
They started breathing softly, asleep. I decided they'd better sleep with me, so nothing bad happens to them in the night. I took off my shirt and threw my jacket back on. I laid down on my back, and set them on my rib cage; that way, if they woke up, I would too, and I could keep an eye on them. I yawned and quickly fell asleep.
Your POV
I stretched and sat up, rubbing my eyes. That was the best sleep I'd had in a long time. I looked around to strange surroundings; and then I remembered I was smol. I looked down, wondering where Sans had me sleep for the night.
"Eeep!" I was sitting on Sans' ribs. He didn't have a shirt on, but he was still wearing his jacket. He was actually very peaceful looking... I blushed hard and thought about what I should do. I could stay here, watching him sleep like a creeper, or leave.
Before I could do anything, one of his eyes slowly opened. "Heya."
"S-Sans!" I blushed.
"You look like a cute little cherry." He chuckled.
"And you look like a giant dork." I grinned. "I'm hungry, wanna see if Paps is up?"
"Sure." He picked me up by the hood of my jacket and set me on his shoulder.
Maybe the next few days will be okay.
Love you, my little stars!
