Sonja sees it's raining nearby which she puts on a draped rain jacket that goes down to her feet and opens up a turquoise umbrella. She goes into the rain with her umbrella underneath her and sees Monster Kid waiting.

"Hey, you got an umbrella! Cool!" Monster Kid runs to Sonja getting under the umbrella.

"Let's go!" Sonja walks with Monster Kid.

"How did you turn into a Mermaid?" asked Monster Kid.

"Well, it happens when I touch anything that is liquid like water for example. But sometimes it can be annoying." Sonja replied.

"I can tell. So why did you come here?" Sonja sighs before answering,

"I wanted to see what it looks like underneath. When Louis read about the history of how Monsters and Humans once lived at the surface and got into a big war. I felt so bad for you guys and I have to do something to get you guys out of here. That's why I decided to go there and make friends with you much as possible. Even though they are trying to kill me since I'm a human. Nobody ever knows what I can do." Sonja grabs out a cup and fills it up and uses her powers to freeze it.

"So your like a super human that fall down here? So awesome!" Monster Kid shouted.

"Yeah, pretty much but I'm also a beautiful mythical creature that no monster has ever seen before." Sonja's eyes went wide when she sees the whole cup is frozen and icicles are sticking at the rip of the cup. She drops the cup, shattering into pieces in shock after what she just saw.

"What's wrong?" asked Monster Kid.

"I think my powers might have upgraded or gave me a big boost. That's what happened to my friends. Cleo is able to blow stuff away, Rikki can set things on fire and Emma can freeze anything that is not a liquid." Sonja told.

"Whoa....." said Monster Kid in awe. Sonja and Monster Kid kept going until they stopped to look at the big castle at the distance.

"It's huge!" Monster Kid nodded before getting going. They made it through a big ledge. Sonja puts on a rain hat as she closes the umbrella. Sonja climbs up the ledge and offers Monster Kid a hand.

"No thanks, mrs uh..."

"Sonja." Sonja told.

"Sonja, that's a good name." said Monster Kid as he runs off.

"Wait! Are you sure you'll be able to find a way?" Monster Kid nodded before running off. Sonja smiles before walking.
