You decide to ignore the flower and look up. The place really was broken down. The single ray of sunshine from the slight hole in the roof allowed you to see. You looked at the door on the other wall of the room and start walking to it. It went out of view however when everything suddenly turned black. You looked up trying to see if the ray of sunlight somehow got blocked, but it looked the same as everything else around.

"Oh hello there human. You thought you could sneak by flowey huh?" An eery voice rang out.

You froze, breathing heavily. You thought you were the only one here? If so... Who could have said that? With some bravery, you turned around. Once you turned, however, you couldn't believe your eyes.
The flower you were staring at was alive. It had a terrifying face as it stared into you. You could feel your heart race and shivers go down your spine.

"Oh, you look so confused." Flowey laughed maniacally.

You feel a warm sensation on your chest and look down. You see a colored heart glowing faintly at you. That flower was right, you sure were confused alright. You just fell down a hole to find talking flowers how couldn't you be?

"See that soul of yours? I want it. I NEED IT. So I will kill you right here... Right now." He said darkly, laughing crazily.

You look at the ring of pellets around flowey. They started to go for your soul making you back up. You reached a wall, however, leaving you to breathe heavily. The blood from your cut started to run down your leg, almost reminding you of your certain death. The pellets were just about to hit when a sudden burst of flames was aimed at the flower. He dodged skillfully once they were fired and growled, sinking into the floor. The blackness started to fade and you could start to see around you again. You turned to the door you were walking to. A rather tall goat lady stood there, looking down at you.

"Oh, you poor child! I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins. Are you alright now dear?" She asks you softly.

You could sense the tender kind aura she had to her.
