(Sophie is my lil cousin and she sadly gets nightmares all the time. Here ya go Sophie!)

Emily was in her office, writing fanfics and checking on requests, when she heard the door creak open. Emily's ear flinched before she turned her chair to see her little fox monster cousin, gripping her dino blanket and dino plushie, standing at the door way.

"Hey Soph! Whats up?" Emily asked as she stood up. Sophie shuffled a little before Emily got the message. Sophie had another nightmare. Emily sighed before picking Sophie up and nuzzling her muzzle with her bone muzzle.

"It's ok Soph. I'm here for ya." Emily reassured as she walked over to her couch. Sophie nodded before Emily placed Sophie down on the couch and helped her make a bed out of it. "Emily?" Emily hummed as Sophie sat with her dino plushie. "Can you sleep with me tonight?"

Emily looked at her desk, covered in papers and books, before looking back at Sophie. 'One night shouldn't hurt...' Emily thought as she nodded. Sophie hugged Emily before Emily sat down. "I love you Emmy!" Sophie squealed. Sophie laid down on Emily's chest and ghost stomach as Emily wrapped them both in Sophie's dinosaur blanket.

Sophie hugged her dino plushie before Emily petted Sophie's ear. She smiled at Sophie purring before the two drifted off to sleep. "I love you too Sophie..." Emily said as she breathed calmly, matching Sophie, and felt her ears perk down.
